The hotel amenities and food were great. The check-in was terrible, long lines, disorganized and huge loud fans due to a/c not working. We arrived at noon, couldn't check in until 3pm (no big deal). But when we went back to get our keys 2:50pm, they had a long line for people checking in and people getting keys. They really should have separate lines, very inefficient. You can't take an Uber from the hotel. They won't allow them on property. They have to call a taxi to take you to the gate for $21, then you can take an Uber. You are also not allowed to walk out of the property, you have to use a taxi. However, you can take a UBER back to the property (ridiculous). I was told its due to Uber drivers vandalizing the property (huh). They only vandalize when they pickup (on a schedule) but nit when they drop off and can meander after (illogical). And finally, my daughter had a pedicure and the technician cut one of her toenails way too short. She is having pain and its red, I have to keep my eye on it, so she doesn't end up with an infection. And my daughter's toenails were super long, so no reason she cut them below the skin line, and especially juat one. Completely unacceptable.

This resort has ok food, but very slow service and a focus on selling you stuff vs ensuring you have a relaxing trip. We spent far too much time trying to get served at the pool, order a very watered down drink or use our "resort credits" for bowling, which really wasn't easy to do, or inexpensive. Every question or request was passed off to someone else, somewhere else on the property which was frustrating. You also have to use their cab service to get off the property, which was significantly up charged and our driver was terrible. The activities are also a bit weird, for example the silent dance party was held in a conference room filled with chairs, not really the club experience we were hoping for. We wanted to play pool, but only one table was available in the bar with a cool vibe, no bartender though. The other pool tables were in a brightly lit side room with a very lame vibe. The slides were great, but not being able to swim or hang out at the beach had us feeling a bit trapped and as if we were just a captive audience for the constant sell of activities on the property. The room was nice and comfortable, but next time we will just stay some where else.

We could not be more up happy. The tiles on the pool were missing (cut my leg sitting at the swim up bar) Water leak in our room. Slipped twice. STAFF was LESS then helpful or friendly. We had booked 2 room wit Patial Ocean. COULD NOT see any ocean. STASFF was NOT HELPFUL! I asked to speak to the manager, no call back, I asked for managers email and no one would gove to me. I felt locked out. Our room was dirty and door frames had no trim, mold in shower, wholes in furniture, and used spoons left on floor under pull our sofa bed. I COULD GO ON.
