The washroom was difficult… hard to enter and exit. You had to deal with a very high step (about 1 foot). This is very much a safety concern. The front light outside was on all night the 1st night we were there. The front door did not have a blind to shield it. They turned it off for us the 2nd night. It was a very old room but the bed was quite comfortable. They only gave each of us a bottle of water the 1st day. I had to ask them to give us one the 2nd day. There was only 1 small bar of soap. The bed was not made up until 4 PM the 2nd day until I asked them about this. Also I had to ask them then to give us clean towels. The pool area was lovely as was breakfast. Hotel has a beautiful setting with a view of Lake Chapala.
