The hotel was great and walking distance to coffee shop and restaurants. The only drawback was that the pool and hot tub were not open. That’s part of the reason why we booked there so it was bummer to find we couldn’t use them. All else was great!

Really enjoyed our stay at KSU Hotel! Appreciated how late the pool is open—a nice way to relax at the end of the day. Nice fitness center too! Room was very spacious with microwave and mini fridge! Plenty of towels given in the room. Shower pan was a little dingy, with that happens with age. Staff were very helpful! Overall, extremely pleased with our stay and will be back!

The guests on our floor and especially upstairs were extremely loud and banging through the night. The bathroom-the ceiling above the shower had mold and water damage that had a hole in the ceiling. The light fixture in the bathroom was dirty with something on it. White fingerprints all over the door.

Nice property and undeniably best option in immediate Kent area. Breakfast reasonably priced and very good. Location perfect, adjacent to downtown and campus. No complaints other than room was not cleaned to normal standards - dried toothpaste in sink, hair scrunchy found between beds, two dead bugs near shower and sink was nearly clogged. Likely attributable to current help challenges facing the hospitality industry. Would still return to the property, if in the area again.

We really liked the friendly, efficient check-in, modern decor, and well-appointed room. One thing we found concerning was a spot that looked like blood on the bottom of the fitted sheet on our bed. That made us question cleanliness although everything else appeared clean.

Pool and laundry services were out of service with no discount available. We have stayed here a lot and it’s went down hill. The bed sham had something that looked like a bodily fluid on it. We had two rooms and both fridges were broken and when I told the front desk they said there was no one available to fix it so I went to the ice machine to fill up my cooler and there was never any ice. We arrived 20 minutes early and they asked housekeeping if our rooms were ready and housekeeping said no but we will get started and 15 minutes later they were ready. How much did you clean? Always enjoyed staying here even though it was expensive but it was nasty

The location was great. Plenty of places to eat and a great little town to walk around. The mini fridge in the room made a very high pitched squeaky sound when it ran. It was very annoying, especially when trying to sleep. If I could have I would have unplugged it.

We loved the location and convenience of the KSU Hotel, and the room itself was large and clean. However, the pool and hot tub were down when we visited, which was a big factor in our choice to stay due to having our 6 and 8 year old children with us. Also, the bathroom was very small for a family of four and only had a shower, with no bathtub, and very little vanity space. While that would be great for adults only, with kids it would have been nice to have the option of a larger bathroom with a tub.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean. Enjoyed the outside terrace. The only complaint is that the bed was not very comfortable. The mattress sloped down on the side. My sister was in another room and had the same comment. We both had leg and back aches during the night.

Clean and comfortable room. However, this is the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in! The loud thumping of a nearby club until 3am kept us awake most of the night. You could hear every step of the people above us, as well as people yelling in the hallway and outside. $200 for very little sleep is unacceptable. This is the second time we have stayed here and it will be the last. No free breakfast or parking. ($13.50)

this hotel kinda crummy. paper thin walls. could hear other guests all night. banging and stomping above. and on both sides. it was an off night for the town, with students on summer break. so you would think it would be quiet. nope. noisy and kinda dirty. Im shocked it had such a high rating. the only positive where how close it was to the concert at kent stage. overpriced

Our room with two queen beds was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower very easy to find the right settings. Loved Pearl the Squirrel statue in the lobby. Parking in the garage across the street was a breeze. Walkable to the KSU campus. Restaurants for dinner and breakfast within a couple blocks. For the price, this was really the perfect choice for our hotel stay.

Overall nice property. Hotel was clean, quiet, friendly staff. Problem with communication prior to date of stay. Received an email two days before stay that they could not honor the reservation and then another email the next day that they would have a room available. I also received an email that the pool and spa were closed but when I arrived (without a suit) I was told it had opened the day before. Overall very stressful and confusing.

Location is perfect for walking distance to restaurants and bars. Police station adjacent to hotel so felt safe walking my dog out after dark. Hotel restaurant with good menu and average prices 11-14$ sandwiches. Only down side is no complimentary breakfast. Nice surprise I found during this stay was outdoor patio. Located on second floor. Large area with tables /chairs , couches etc . Nice get away in afternoon to relax with the sun

The breakfast in the restaurant took almost an hour to get food and when it finally arrived, it wasn't very good! (How can you mess up breakfast??) My only other complaint: The pillows on the bed were very hard and I found it very difficult to get comfortable. Otherwise, a nice hotel.

We loved our time at the hotel. The restaurant, although small, served amazing food- fresh, creative, delicious. There was no need to look elsewhere for dinner and breakfast. Staff was friendly, engaging and personable throughout the hotel/ restaurant. It was only an overnight stay on the way to our destination, but we would search it out again.

All around, the hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. The staff was friendly at the front desk and in the restaurant. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious. The neighborhood was trendy with all types of businesses and plenty of restaurants from which to choose. A+
