What guests think

At Home2 Suites by Hilton Jackson/Ridgeland, MS, guests frequently praise friendly staff, spacious rooms, and a convenient, generally quiet location near the interstate and shopping, though experiences vary widely depending on room condition and stay timing.

Cleanliness feedback is mixed, with many spotless stays contrasted by recurring issues like dirty carpets, inconsistent housekeeping, pests reported in a few rooms, and maintenance problems including low or no hot water and broken fixtures. Facilities draw complaints about an advertised but unavailable EV charger, pool closures or cleanliness, occasional elevator and key-card problems, and a gym that needs better upkeep. Breakfast is generally acceptable with friendly staff, but some guests found it limited or delayed. Expect a convenient, suite-style stay that can be comfortable but inconsistent.

This was a nice convenient stop for our family on the way further south. Clean with comfortable beds, and we love the amenities of dishes and a full size fridge. The only negative was the pool wasn't open and won't be for a while.

The elevator was not working at check-in. We had to wait for the elevator to be "reset". When we did finally get on the elevator, we traveled to the 4th floor where our room was, the elevator began to violently shake and smoke. The doors did finally open and we were able to make it to our room. We called the front desk, who did not seem very interested. Needless to say, we took the stairs down the next morning, checked out, and will never be checking in there again.

Property and location are great. However, booked this hotel specifically bc it says they have EV charging. However, they do not. Very disappointed as I’ll have to go charge somewhere else in the morning before continuing my trip.

Booked this room because we were passing through to a destination and wanted to break up the trip time. I selected this one because it said they have a charging station on site, but they do NOT. Overall the stay wasn't bad with a few issues. No tv remote in the room but was resolved by the front desk clerk. Parts of the floor felt damp, the shampoo that is normally attached to the shower was not so we didn’t feel comfortable using it. It was pricey for the stay and breakfast was 2 hours behind. It said breakfast started at 6am but it was almost 8am before it was avaliable.

One of the worst stays I have ever had at any property. I woke up the next morning with no water to flush the toilet, shower or brush my teeth. I checked with the front desk and they are aware that there are issues with low water pressure or no water at all from time to time. They didn’t apologize or offer me any type of compensation. I have stayed at this property multiple times before and never encountered this type of problem or attitude from the staff. I reached out to Hotels.com for assistance and they tried to contact the manager, NO RESPONSE! I travel to the area several times a year for business meetings and will never stay there again! I will also let my colleagues know of this situation and lack of response!

The Staff was very good, however, the room we first got was not. There were dead bugs all around the frame of the bed which we didn't see right when we checked in. Traveled with friends so we spent time in their room and then came back up to ours which is when we found the issues. They evidently have a ladybug problem coming into the windows and there was a lot of them in our first room, including a dead cockroach. There was also no bath gel in the shower so they might have a housekeeping issue. We requested another room and Felicia was super accommodating. The 2nd room still had one dead & one moving but not nearly as many dead ones as the first room. I'm not sure I would stay there again due to those issues. Changing rooms at 10 pm is no fun; I asked about compensation but was told because I booked thru a 3rd party that wasn't possible. I think they could have at least took the $75 dog fee off due to the poor housekeeping, but I was still charged for that. I've stayed at Home2Suites before and have not had this issue. I don't believe I would stay at the Jackson/Ridgeland location again.

The front desk manager, Schelerria was unnecessarily rude when asked her name. Was simply requesting a late check-out and she refused her name 3 times with an attitude. The worse encounter I’ve ever had at a Hilton property. Resulted in getting the late check out, but common courtesy is to provide your name, especially upon request.

Room and bed was comfortable with plenty of room. The lighting of the room could be better-especially over the full length mirror. The floors could have been cleaned alot better. They were generally clean but in the corners and cabinets near the floor were filthy/gunked up. The floors in the hotel in general were not what I would categorize as clean. The kitchen/breakfast area was very clean and the location was very convenient and quiet.
