What guests think

At Hyatt Place Raleigh Cary, travelers highlight spacious, quiet rooms, friendly service, and a convenient location near PNC Arena, NC State, and I 40, with easy parking, a solid free breakfast, and a comfortable, low key business park setting.

Guests also like the well kept gym, lobby bar, and available EV charging, though the pool is small and the hot tub is no longer in use. Some stays report dated decor, small bathrooms, or maintenance and housekeeping lapses such as stained carpets, musty odors, or slow fixes; breakfast can be inconsistent, occasionally cold or not replenished promptly. The setting is quiet but lacks walkable dining, and occasional event noise from nearby lots has been noted. Overall, expect a comfortable midrange base with reliable amenities.

Overall hotel was well presented. Beds were very comfortable. Shower pressure was wonderful. Only downfall was that I booked this hotel because the pictures showed a hot tub next to the pool. This was not the case, the hot tub has been covered.

Clean, efficient and family & dog friendly place with easy highway access, free and safe parking, and attentive staff who inexplicitly are forced to count out change during busy times of the day. If management's job is to create a productive environment in which staff can thrive, forcing staff to count out pennies at the reception desk should be reconsidered. A clean gym and pool awaits the ambitious traveler. A serviceable breakfast rounds out the excellent value this hotel provides.

This is the secind time I visited North Carolina and the second time at this hotel. I love it here. The rooms are huge and are white glove clean. The tub sparkles. The front desk associates are extremely friendly and Joshua was full of knowledge of places to eat and nightlife around town. There is a free buffet breakfast as well.

The property was nice, but cleanliness was an issues. The carpet in the room had many many stains. It made it uncomfortably to walk in the room without shoes or socks on. The towels and sheets had stains as well, not to say they weren’t clean, but were tired looking. I had a bit higher expectations and was disappointed.

The hotel staff (front desk) were fine and accommodating. The general condition of the hotel is poor. The room carpet had multiple stains, was not recently vacuumed. No shampoo or conditioner, ice machine inoperative. The lobby did offer purchase of a few different sodas, but overall very depressing hotel. Would not recommend .

Beds here are TERRIBLE. The mattresses are rock hard and killed my back, hips and legs no matter how I tried to lay down. The pillows are equally horrid but because they are FAR too soft. My neck is horribly twinged after two nights struggling to find any comfort, and the friend i was travelling with had very similar complaints. I think i slept maybe 2 hours, on the couch, during my stay. The room was also very dingy and outdated, the tub was dangerously if you accidentally stepped on the surface not covered my the tub mat. Floor tile also very slippery when. Just not at all a comfortable stay, especially considering the price.

Stay was fine. Rooms were clean but outdated. Lights didn’t dim and were extremely bright and flickered, the bathroom didn’t have a fan, and the tv was so old we couldn’t cast to it. Not deal breakers but when the room is $200 something a night, I expected it to be more modern, and updated.

The rooms were spacious, modern, and thoughtfully arranged. There were large L-shaped couches, a comfortable footrest, end tables, lots of charging areas, ports, and outlets. There were large flat screen LG tvs, and a divider between the bedroom and sitting room for privacy. A highlight was the large wall to wall windows in the sleeping room, and the views of the pine trees were lovely. Everything was clean, the employees were helpful and informative, their daily was breakfast copious, yummy, and had a little variety day to day. The only downside was the doors to the rooms looked heavy- but the walls were paper thin. Any and every conversation in the hallway could be overheard and might be a problem for light sleepers. Otherwise I loved it, would highly recommend and, definitely would be back again.

I was in town for a concert with my 2 daughters and their friend. We drove 3 hours and arrived at 2:20- 40 minutes before the designated 3pm check-in time. This was my girls’ first concert and we were celebrating my 14 year old’s birthday. We wanted to arrive with enough time for them to get ready before heading over to the venue. The front desk told me they were not offering early check-in. When I came back at 4pm, they had no queen rooms available, and there were 20 families waiting for those rooms. They could not provide a wait time for when the rooms would be ready. So, instead of waiting in limbo, and not having a space to get ready for the concert, I chose to cram one adult, 2 teens and a pre teen into a king room. It was my only option. It was 4:30- our uber was coming at 5:45, and I had 4 people needing to get ready for a concert. In addition, I called down to the front desk and requested extra bedding for the pull out sofa that 2 teens needed to share and that was never sent up. I needed to call again when we returned from the concert. It was just a very disappointing stay to say the least.

Overall I would stay again. Room and breakfast were very good. The problem can when left. I went to a store and couldn’t find my wallet. I was in a panic. I called but the lady at the desk but she was alone and staff was in a meeting so no one could look for me. I had to drive back 15 minutes. I was told someone was looking and I was told to edit. No one came, come to find out no one was looking. Finally I was able to go up and i found it. Seems like a wallet emergency, someone’s life someone could have looked. I own a business and we would have stopped what we were doing to help a customer. Ad an honor member I expect more. I would stay again but I was disappointed.
