Blue Gate Garden Inn

The pool and hot tub made a great space to hang out. I also liked the fireplace outside. It was very clean and a great place to stay!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The property, offerings and rooms were exceptional The one item that caused me to give a 4 star rating instead of 5 was the breakfast offering. There was an omelette station available, but only 1 person was assigned to it. She took each order, cooked the item ordered and than anno7nce theorderers name over a microphone. She also had to answer questions from people wanting to know where their order was. I think things would have gone more smoothly had she been allowed to cook and an additional person taking the orders and do8ng theannouncing. We gave our orders at 9:00 AM, and the order was still not ready at 9:45. There was also only 1 person refilling the buffet bins with food. At 9:30 we decided to get our breakfast from the buffet hoping that our omelettes would be done by the time we had our other items. There was only an almost empty bin of scrambled eggs and the only meat offered were sausage links. No potatoes. There were 2 sides of the buffet and one was closed. It was very busy. We also prepared some toast. The eggs and sausage were not ho, lukewarm at best. If a health inspecter did a temp check on those items, the property would have been cited for not maintaining a proper storage temperature. Our omelettes never arrived. The next day we opted out of the breakfast and went to a local restaurant instead. But overall there is a lot to like about staying here, especially being next the theater and close to all in town locations.

Fabulous as always. Love the hotel and venue!

Excellent. Will be back. very clean

Our stay at The Blue Gate was exceptional but the only issue we had was the door to our room was warped & the door was hard to push open & wouldn't shut by itself. I reported it to the attendant..
