At Mango Inn Bed and Breakfast, travelers consistently highlight warm, attentive hosts, a charming tropical setting with pool and patios, and a walkable, convenient location near downtown and the beach, creating a relaxed base for exploring Lake Worth.
Rooms vary from cozy to spacious suites; some guests found certain rooms small or dated, with soft beds, steep stairs and no elevator. Cleanliness is generally good, though a few reported musty odors, worn carpets, or maintenance issues. Breakfast is well liked, typically a hot egg dish alongside simple cold items, but some noted limited variety, early hours, or gluten-free challenges, and the pool may be unheated at times. Expect a friendly, low-key stay amid lush gardens.

Quaint older B&B in a great location. One of the hosts, Chet was very friendly and gave personal service every day. Great breakfast each day and the grounds/pool are very nice. Only thing I would note is that some rooms are on the second floor so be aware when booking.. no elevator.

My experience was very different. I had an awful time staying here because the inn keeper did the BARE Minimum and was not the least responsive to my needs. The room was small but fine. I think I was the only one there. Breakfast was not tasty. Included overdone frittata and fruit in a packaged cup like at the hospital. I asked for a bit of a late checkout. He was very rigid about it. He said I could be by the pool but the outdoor shower was broken and there was NO communal bathroom. I would not stay again if you aid me.

Our hosts were very welcoming. The inn had the best-looking grounds of any place we saw in the entire area, including a row of “high end” type resorts. Great proximity to Farmer’s Market on Saturday and lovely hearty breakfast on a satillo-tiled patio overlooking a lovely pool.

Lovely tropical B&B on a quiet street with ample parking. Check in was easy. Several restaurants/pubs within walking distance was a plus. Breakfast was selection of cold items and a warm egg entree. The terrace was wonderful for breakfast and we chatted with guests each day. The pool area very pleasant. Jeff, Randy and Chet were very warm and welcoming hosts.

This property offered the privacy of an individual suite, but the perks of conversing with other vacationers during breakfast. Breakfast consisted of options for toast/English muffin, three types of cereal, muffins, fruit in a cup, yogurt, coffee and some type of fresh made frittata or quiche. The suite had everything we needed to cook our meals and enjoy coffee or wine in the courtyard. The main house had snacks and drinks at all times, as well as an ice they even had candy jar. (They had one in our suite too). The hosts were extremely sweet and hospitable. We will definitely be back again.

The room was clean and the A/C was already set to a comfortable temperature, not like the hot box I usually walk into at the national chains. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

It is an old building. The room we stayed needs a major renovation. It is very humid. Carpet is very old and smelly. Bathroom accessories are rusted and need to be replaced. Staff is very nice. Breakfast was okay, it needs more variety of food.

This is a very beautiful property indeed with several small rooms. The room was clean and spacious and the outside is quite gorgeous. There was plenty towels, soaps, etc and even two water bottles. So it was a great experience and the breakfast was also quite tasty - simple but flavorful.

The minute I walked into the building it had a heavy smell of a chemical cover up. The room's carpet was so dirty it was black not brown in the traffic areas. We had live bugs and human hair on and around our pillows. After two hours the room temperature remained around 78. I called for service and after their response the temperature stayed at 79 until the AC came on around 3:00 AM. We left the next morning without any breakfast. We had to pay full price for one night and got a refund for two nights.

Our room and bathroom were about the same size as the cruise ship cabin we had just occuped. The water pressure in the shower was very poor. The bed was uncomfortable. The staircase to the second floor rooms was extremely steep and no one was available to help carry our heavy suitcases upstairs. We were told there would be no housekeeping during our 6-day stay. Breakfast was okay and eating on the terrace was pleasant. The grounds around the inn are lovely, but all in all we would never stay here again.

The hosts were personable and professional and always willing to help. I enjoyed the delightful breakfasts and interaction with other guests. Jeff & Randy are wonderful hosts - friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was satisfying and freshly prepared each morning. Bob the cat was a funny diversion too. The Bougainvillea (sp?) Room was well sized and the bathroom though a tad small was fine. The bed was too soft and as a couple, we felt every move of the other person but thats not unusual for B&Bs. Overall good experience and would return.

So clean, fresh, pretty, inspirational and relaxing!!!! I'd come back here with my friends or family because it was truly a lovely place to come back to after a long day... All amenities were above and beyond and owners prompt in responding to any query! Thank you!!!

We have stayed at this establishment over the past several years. At this point they would benefit from some upgrades. Even a little paint would improve it. Its a nice place but when you've been sitting on the same broken toiletseat in the same room...well. And change the breakfast menu, its Always mushroom frittata . Just my thoughts.

The hosts were personable and professional and always willing to help. I enjoyed the delightful breakfasts and interaction with other guests. The rooms were well decorated, and mine had a wonderful walk in shower. The grounds were beautiful and private with several sitting areas, and the pool was a plus. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is beautiful and the outdoor space is amazing! Breakfast was ok, although not gluten-free friendly, which we need. Room was very pretty, but small. Bed was only ok. That said, we would still go back!

The facilities were clean and fresh, the breakfast, coffee and juice, delicious, and the host warm, welcoming and friendly. The neighborhood was historic, safe and interesting. The inn is just a short walk to diverse restaurants, shops, and bars. We feel we must return someday!

We only needed a place to sleep while in town for a reunion. Ít met the need but the check in was a bit uncomfortable given that the booking agent and caretakers do not seem to communicate well with each other.

We really enjoyed the Pool and the light up flamingos. We stayed in the Serape room. The room smelled like old Florida ( which we didn't mind) so if you're sensitive to a musty smells I'd pass. the shower grout was very white and clean. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were like clouds from heaven. There was a mini fridge in the closet. and Mangos all over the property in July. It was perfect for what we needed.
