Cedar Point Hotel Breakers

The rooms were ok. I felt like it needed some updating. Felt a bit dark and old. The pool area was nice. There is a kid area and a larger pool and hot tub for the adults. The hot tub was large but needs more jets. The temperature was actually ok but I’m a super hot water girl and it could have been a bit hotter. The staff was not very friendly throughout the entire trip. Parking and entrance to the park was wonderful. The beach and access from hotel was amazing. The Cedar point park is super expensive. It was actually cheaper to stay two days at Disney then it was one day at Cedar point.

Great place to stay very convenient. You never have to leave the property. You can get Perkins for breakfast then get a coffee at Starbucks then head out for a walk on the beach and then go into the park. Very convenient clean rooms great staff what more could you want? Highly recommend

Pros -Cannot beat the location to both Cedar Point and the beach -Multiple pools so they were never overcrowded -Easy, helpful check-in -Rooms that can accommodate families Cons -Would expect slightly better up keep and cleanliness for the price -No coffee maker -Everything felt damp and unclean Overall, you are definitely paying for convenience for this hotel. Its great for the park and right at the beach which is very easy for kids. They also have rooms that accommodate families of 5+. I'm sure they dont have to because people will continue to book the hotel for the location, but I would have to imagine they have money from the high nightly cost to put toward maintaining the property, both inside and out. The pools and grounds were nice. The outside of the building looks dated and you can see areas where awnings have fallen and they just didn't replace them. The rooms felt unclean and like they were missing pretty basic amenities for any hotel you would consider a 4-star hotel. Our patio was screened it, which was nice for the bugs, but it also meant that rain never naturally washed the furniture and it was clear that no one did because the chairs were caked in dirt to the point I didn't even want to dry my beach towels on them. The bedding is very thin so bring a blanket if you run cold. Gym was fully broken. No machines really worked and there were literally machines in pieces around the gym. Wifi also never really worked in any part of hotel.

Obviously can't be beat if you want a good hotel that's right next door to Cedar Point and will get you early access to the park. My family had a nice room that faced onto Lake Erie with a lovely enclosed terrace. But weirdly the bathroom seemed very old and long in need of renovation. And the hotel's "fitness center" was a joke - just a couple of ellipticals and treadmills, and a broken weight machine left in totally disarray. Still it's nice to have a few different restaurants at your disposal (even if a bit overpriced) and to have a place to take an easy midday rest when you need a break from Top Thrill 2 and Steel Vengeance.

Over all great stay. You definitely pay for the proximity to the park. It’s perfect if you have a family like mine that is split on thrills and relaxation. Staff were helpful and nice enough. But all were distracted with their phones or in conversation with things not related to work. We had to visit the front desk multiple times, because our keys stopped working. On each occasion they would look up then look away. It was almost as if they hoped someone else would help.
