Grand City Hotel Cancun

L'hôtel ne semble pas de mine de l'extérieur mais il y a une super cour intérieure avec une piscine. Il y a des arbres et plusieurs chaise/équipements de jardins ainsi qu'un éclairage de soirée très très agréable. Les chambres sont pratiques et très propres et le personnel extrêmement gentils et absolument à notre service. L'hotel est ouverte 24 heures. Seul bémol, il y a un bar rock juste à coté avec des live band le soir jusqu'à 1h du matin. Honnêtement, ça ne m'a pas dérangé mais c'est à voir. Sinon, le centre est à distance de marche et on trouve dans le quartier des restaurants mexicains et autres, moins cher qu'au centre-ville. Résumé, j'ai adoré mon résumé à cet hotel un peu hors des sentiers battus mais qui en vaut la peine !

Ive stayed here many times, the staff are super friendly, the rooms huge and its very convenient having microwave, fridge free water and the little seating terrace outside room 207. Easy to walk to walmart and the bus stops. Parts look a bit tired now sadly and the wifi doesnt work well in the rooms. The pool area is lovely,good value short stay

El aíre acondicionado no servía, las 2 noches tuve q abrir la ventana para q refrescará, alimentos por partes te ofrecen el menú y te acompletan con lo que encuentren, instalación sucia, Alberca sucia demasiado cloro, no lo recomiendo x ese precio ay mejores lugares, el personal amable

When checking in we were told NO alcohol allowed on the premises. Not even in our room. The bar next to the pool in the photos, was gone. Replaced by a vending machine. The first day we were woken by demolition work happening in a nearby room. This hotel is being remodelled. No one notified us or warned us. We are on vacation and the whole week was noisy, distuptive and unrelaxing. Day 1 - a 2 inch centipede came up the shower drain during a shower. Day 2 - one of the construction workers walked into our room unannounced. Just opened the door and walked in. Apologozed and left. Day 3 - water shut off for over an hour in thr afternoon. Wifi in room kept dropping. In the evening some guests were drinking and smoking next to the pool. The rules seem to change depending on the staff on duty. Day 4 - Electricity shut off for 2hrs in the evening, for 4 to 6pm. Was given 5 min notice. Wifi dropped all night. TV only works with wifi so it took down the TV. Day 5 - woke up to more demolition. Check out was smooth. Some staff were very nice and accomodating. Others were quiet and never spoke to us beyond the odd nod hello. Location is great for walking around and exploring DT Cancun. Bar next door is loud at night but tolerable from our room. Pool was ok. Amenities were severly lacking. Maybe after they remodel it will be nicer but I REALLY dont appreciate not be warned of the construction. This really effected our vacation.

The rooms were spacious, the property look good with the exception that they are under construction and fail to mention it. The bed sheets were not changed every day and the cleaning person just limit to pick up the big stuff and make the beds. The staff was very polite, friendly and very helpful.

Muy buen hotel, la decoración muy bonita , la alberca climatizada y muy bien para ambiente familiar y hay un Oxxo a solo unos pasos, venden desayunos desde 100 pesos y paquetes con café pan desayuno , cereal y huevos por 130 , lo único es qué hay un bar de rock al lado(por las noches) , se escucha un poco de música pero en general se puede dormir bien o por lo menos con lo cansados que hibamos ni la escuchamos ; si me hospedaría de nuevo ;)

Fint hotel, der dog er lige op og ned af en musikbar, der spiller meget højt livemusik indtil kl 02 om natten. Det er nemt at høre på værelserne og er svært at sove for. Ellers er personalet søde og hjælpsomme og giver gerne strandhåndklæder til låns, hvis man skal på stranden. Stort fladskærms-tv på værelset, perfekt til regnvejrsdage, som vi rendte ind i.

At the time we booked we were excited about the pool. Once we arrived we saw MAJOR construction to the surrounding area of the pool as well as the room areas. So there was no pool access. It was some banging noises during the night. We were given the option of a refund but that was literally the only hotel in that area so we stayed. The room was very nice. Staff was really great. I adore boutique hotels. I would stay here again just to experience the pool area and the locals. Those things are very important to me.

The toilets smelled really bad and was not very clean. The rooms smelled bad as well

Perfect choice for a quick stay before my flight home. Very very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms, plenty of hot water, no smell in bedroom or bathroom, and quiet location away from city noise. The bed was the best part - medium firm and superior back support - I slept so well! Supermarkets around the corner. The price and service here is exceptional - worth the 17 min walk from Ado. Highly recommend! I will return 100%

Towels are very poor , cleaning rooms is poor , condition the room poor too , so very poor eve things except the 2 guys who work there ( day and night) thanks

Hotel was safe and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cafe in restaurant was reasonably priced and had variety. I highly recommend this hotel.

We loved Our stay at Grand city hotel. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. It's a bar a few buildings down where you can sit outside and listen to some nice rock music. The whole vibe was good, they kept the property very clean, every day they were cleaning. We will be back and will stay with Grand City hotel again and again!!!

Muy limpio el hotel, el personal es muy amable. Las habitaciones están muy bien equipadas. Nos gustó mucho la ubicación, está cerca de la zona hotelera, de plaza las Américas, y también puedes llegar del aeropuerto sin pasar por el centro de la ciudad .

The hotel was good - clean, safe, pleasant staff but disliked Cancun. There was high level of noise from the bikers rock club until 2-3am in mornings.

Nice small hotel in centric downtown close by a 24hrs Walmart for the midnight munchies. Room was equipped with working AC unit, mini fridge and big smarttv.

La ubicacion es excelente. Mejoraria el aire acondicionado dias de mucho calor parece ser insuficiente.

Positif : Très bon accueil. Chambre spacieuse avec rangements. Micro-ondes et réfrigérateur dans la chambre. 1 petite bouteille d'eau offerte par personne. Négatif : Très mauvais Wi-Fi et TV fonctionnant avec internet donc pas de TV. Équipement non conforme avec le descriptif : 1 cafetière mais pas de café à mettre dedans, pas de bouilloire, pas de thé et seulement 1 assiette/bol/verre et tasse/personne sans couvert.

It was good a little bit noisy but good stay!

The chef Karime was excellent and extremely accommodating.. the staff immediately responded to questions about distances and what was nearby and how to access it. Candy, Aracely, Dora, Aisela, Ana , Francisco and Alvaro kept us all functioning (tv and all else)and made our stay here rewarding and memorable It was a great stay!

Was a great oasis in downtown Cancun. Roberto from the front desk was so friendly and helpful and really made our stay worthwhile! Will definitely return!

Customer service was excellent and very helpful. Great location for a New Year's eve celebration of sorts, and short walking distance to Oxxo and good restaurants. Easy access to bus that takes you to the beaches. We had a great time. The only problem is there is no sink appropriate for washing dishes. Suitable only for a short stay. Great price for the value.

My friends and I stayed a couple of nights at this hotel while exploring the areas around Cancun. Great value for money, at a nice location in downtown Cancun!

I liked the room itself it was small and simple and had what I needed there is a cute bar down the street that I hung out at one night but it's across the street from the hospital and not exactly the greatest of neighborhoods. The tour buses don't come to this hotel so you either have to get an Uber or figure out how to walk to the nearest pick up spot. For my quick stay this was fine but if I was staying longer than two or three days I would definitely find somewhere more accommodating, closer to restaurants and transportation. I didn't have that much interaction with the staff but they were friendly, useful and spoke English.

Hotel was safe and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cafe in restaurant was reasonably priced and had variety. I highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the room. Large closet with built in drawers and safe, for valuables. Large shower, only, was perfect for me. Large extra living area for work and kitchenette. Plus, lots of windows! The location was great for participating in local activities. The only regret for me, was not getting to try the hotel restaurant due to no hours of operation printed on the menu.
