Super 8 by Wyndham Pennsville/Wilmington

The Bed was comfortable but the property is outdated. The bed only has 1/2 size pillows which is very odd, we even asked for a full size and was told they dont have full size pillows.. There has been some updates in room but not a complete update. The hallway floors are extremely dirty and old, and a persons sweatshirt layed in the hall for the 3 days we were there. There are key card readers for each side doors but they aren't on, so anyone has access to the facility. 1 Side door which is suppose to be an emergency exit can't even close and is propped open with a stone all times. There is only 1 ice maker on the 1st level and its obscure. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Bath towels are super small making it hard to dry off. Didn't dare eat the food for breakfast which was only served till 9am on weekend, and the juice tasted sour. Im pretty sure people live there full time, we wont be going back that is for sure!

They said they had breakfast when i asked at check-in but actually had nothing except a single pot of coffee, the wifi absolutely sucks, and I went to the front desk 3 different times and at no point was somebody there.

The side door to the hotel didn't lock. People could walk in and out without a key, and they did. People congregated by the door and smoked cigarettes and marijuana. This made the hallway stink. There was yelling in the hallway and people arguing. The staff knew the door didn't lock because I watched them use it to enter the hotel and I brought it to there attention.

Wi-Fi bad, room has broken stuff everywhere. Crappy bed,

Staff courteous and efficient. Comfortable bed and room. Only issue is door key did not work correctly. Had to go to front desk few times to get key reprogrammed to open the door.

Standard Super 8. Not in the best of condition, but not in disrepair. Staff were friendly and helpful, parking was great. Convenient to dining options.

Our mini fridge wasn t cold at all. Knob for temperature gauge was missing. Ice machine on 2 floors wasn t working. And we had to change our sheets before getting into bed because we found alot of hairs in them! The staff was friendly and attentive when we spoke to them. Bed was comfortable. Except bed pillows were size of square couch pillows ( small), not regular size bed pillows.

The stay was fine. The elevator floor needs to be replaced and the hallways were a little dark. Bed was comfortable but the preasure in the shower was very weak.

I was put in a hotel with a non working TV. I came to do business and for the price of stays a TV should have been included

WiFi was horrible and the bed was hard

The bathroom counter and toilet cover were broken in multiple places. The room smelled foul. This hotel can be used for quick stays if all others are booked in the area.

Front desk was very nice, lobby and breakfast room very clean. Room was clean, bathroom was clean and bed was clean and comfortable. This is our 2nd stay at this location and would stay again if in the area.

A lot of roaches in the room.

No hot water. None.

Shower had no pressure and towels/sheets were stained. Food options near by are good with an Applebees and Cracker Barrel.

Gnats in the room. Plaster pealing in shower.

Check in was super easy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and supplied withbeverything you might need. I would recommend Super 8 to anyone as a definite place to stay.

I prefer hot water for a shower, but therr was none. There was also a strong sewage smell on my floor.

This hotel was not very clean. We had to change our room. For sure I won’t recommend this hotel. Everything is old , bed sheets had stains and bathroom is outdated with mold.

TV sound was shotty. Some changes had no sound at all. HD did not work. Very Noisy Room air conditioning. Dur to temp in the room the A/C was necessary. Made sleeping in the room difficult.

The bed was cumfy snd that is the most important part. The TV was lack luster, refresh rate was lousy but fine for a brief stay.

Cheap is what describes this place. Noisy bed that made a thunder sound every time you turn or get in or out of the bed. Cheap breakfast. Even the coffee was so diluted it didn't taste nice at all. Over priced 150$ cad Front desk clerk said she needed to check our room before refunding our deposit. Another guest standing by said she never asked this of any other guests. That was insulting. We should be refunded for this terrible reservation.

Room was clean, neat and updated

Check in was easy. Rooms are large. Coffee in the room. Bed was very comfortable.

Bed that is not on a solid foundation. Metal bed frame buckles and makes noise with any movement.

The air conditioning unit was not functioning properly. It was really loud and In the middle of the night it went from cool to warm then back to cool…then super cool!

First of all, when we checked in, we were given only one key card...which was a surprise as this is the first time in a hotel that I was given one key card instead of two. Not a deal breaker. Moving on, the room we were given was already occupied by someone else. So, we came down to the lobby to speak with the manager and she had no clue that the room given to us was occupied by someone else. So, we were given another room this time. This room is one of those adjoining/connected rooms but the door that connects to the room does not lock properly. On top of that, there were broken glass pieces spread out maybe the microwave plate was broken and the clean-up crew did not do a good job. When we came down to complain about the failing lock and the broken glass pieces, the manager was unapologetic and in fact in denial. At this point, we were uncomfortable staying there and found a nearby hotel to stay that night and we were not reimbursed for the night, since the manager claimed that the stayed (whatever 10-15 minutes that we stayed)

The customer service at the front desk could certainly be better. The breakfast that is included in the stay, could definitely be better. Whenever a question was asked it was attitude every time.

They said continental breakfast it was a paper bag with a chocolate chip bar, chocolate chip cookies and a mini water. My a/c leaked they fixed it leaked again, then instead of giving me another room replaced the whole a/c unit while I'm in my room. Maids don't speak good English at all. Was supposed to check out, paid for another room the guy charged me for another me another deposit after I gave a deposit in the beginning. I ended up checking out about 12:45 the same day they wouldn't refund my money. The girl said she would after we left she calls and says she can't. I paid $120 for two hours, no refund policy was posted or anything.

When I checking in I was assigned a smoking room. When I opened the door to the room it was filthy. Food that was half eaten on table dirty beds and bathroom filthy with garbage cans filled with garbage. Once I complained to front desk he claimed they didn’t have any more rooms. It was almost 11:30 at night and I was with my child. He then told me he would have house keeping clean room for us. After waiting 30 minutes I was told house keeping had already left and he could offer me a house keeping room. I had no choice but to accept. Room smelled horribly and in the morning I realized that I was on a smoking floor with the fire detector covered with a clear garbage bag. God forbid of a fire my daughter and I wouldn’t have made it out. I called manager for 3 days and finally got a hold of him. He was rude and disrespectful and was not willing to help me. My husband called him and he lied and said I threatened him when all I wanted was a refund. He now proceeds to hang up on us anytime we call back. Worst experience of my life. Not sure how he is the manager and hotel has an 8.4. Disgusting and a fire hazard to stay in.

The front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired..I paid for my room in full and then was asked for an additional $100 deposit if they needed that they should state that in price when room is being reserved/paid for. After our first night I went to front desk and asked if they could Make sure we had fresh towels and could someone sweep room, this was at 7:35 am….when we returned at 5pm nothing had been done to the room. Trash was still there and beds still not made up no new towels etc. For $153 a night I would think housekeeping would at least show up, especially since I specifically asked for them to service the room.

The staff was rude and stole the deposit. I stayed here out of convenience but had I known they are allowed to create their own policy at will to manipulate you out of your money which is meant for damage which i would understand if so but garbage does not account for that: regardless there was bugs in the room as well as on the ceiling in the lobby.. I wouldn’t have noticed if they told us the manager would come back and waited for 2 hours just to be told we’d receive a call when they’ve arrived. Against my better judgement we didn’t receive a call and returned to the location to be told they had come and gone without regard to our situation. Was told we’d receive a call next day- and obviously never did. Money spent learning to never stay there again hope no one else does either, nearly all the guests had come up and told us they had similar issues and get treated poorly as well but hey it’s cheap lol

Great location, clean and decent for an overnight stay

Great location just off Exit 1 to NJ Turnpike / I-95. Very convenient stopping point for any long East Coast (I-95) trip. Somwhat newer construction and easy to get back to Interstate the next morning. Recommend.

It’s was good stay very close to Wawa Taco Bell kfc Apple bees Cracker Barrel and burger and a custard stand

Decent place for the price. Good location right of the interstate, close to dining options, not far to Pennsville for shopping, etc. Facilities are in good shape as it appears they've made some recent updates.

The area was quiet and grounds were well maintained. It was close to the highway making travel easy. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The property is busy but convenient right off major road

Price of hotel was 1/3 the price of hotels in Wilmington, DE. It was a fast and easy drive from Wilmington across the Delaware Memorial Bridge to Pennsville NJ to the hotel. Staff were friendly. There were several dining options and fuel within a short walking distance. (Just across the parking lot). We felt safe and comfortable at an affordable price.

Convenient off 95, close to restaurants and a Wawa for gas. Breakfast just so so, but that was not why I stayed here. On the road for a good price.

We just stayed for one night on our road trip. Easy access to the highway and fast food places close by.

You get a single apple in a paper bag for “breakfast”. People roaming outside lobby for cigarette tails in the trash cans. NEVER AGAIN.

The breakfast of fruit bars and water. Never had a breakfast like that. If you are not going to provide one say that.

Decent room with a comfortable bed. Good noise isolation. Housekeeping was terrible. They forgot to leave coffee, creamer, coffee cups, and towels. The breakfasts was very limited. Just coffee, muffins, apples, and waffles offered. No juice, milk, or cereal available.

Bathroom is old and not clean. Just grab and go breakfast.

Continental breakfast was coffee and a breakfast bar. Chose this hotel for breakfast, could have saved my money.

Yes yall don’t have any breakfast there like y’all have on your website that’s false information because if we pay all that money then we should have breakfast. Coffee and only waffles are not breakfast she be more then just that

I loved that property was very clean and comfortable. I did find it absurd that the Superstart Breakfast (as advertised by a sign in the lobby) was composed of three baskets...4 oranges, 8 granola bars, and maybe 12 grocery store muffins. With a toaster nearby. Disappointing

Breakfast Included is what is specified on their website. This "Breakfast" consisted of a cold muffin and hot coffee. A little noisy until around 10 pm but otherwise not bad. We will not stay here again due to the misleading about breakfast being included.

There were limited choices for breakfast. No milk fir the cereal, no protein, no bread, no hot chocolate.

Breakfast was sparse. Some small muffins and small apples.
