The hotel is in a great location right off University in downtown Palo Alto. Room was small but advertised as “cozy” so I expected it. Bed was really comfortable. It would have been nice to have mini fridge in room. The room I had was not well insulated in terms of sound. I heard voices late into the night and early in the morning. Cold breakfast (cereal, boiled eggs) was free and coffee was good quality. If you’re driving you should know that there is no parking or valet at the property. If you’re there on the weekend there’s a garage across the street with lower levels open to the public but it’s locked up between 10pm and 7am. During the week public parking is not allowed there, and most other parking is limited to 2 hours. I asked about parking at the front desk and the attendant was pretty vague. Hotel should provide detailed options for parking during your stay

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and it is generally a great location and a nice option. However, I stay for business and typically take calls in the AM. During this stay, the housekeeping staff knocked on my door a minimum of 3x while I was taking calls, before 9am PT. Check out is 12pm PT. In addition, the shower did not produce warm water, let alone hot water, for the entirety of my stay. Seems the hotel is going downhill a bit. Which is too bad considering the nice stays I have had in the past.

No refrigerator in our very small room. Excellent staff and very clean hotel. Excellent location. You need to pay for a $25 a day parking pass for the public garage directly across the street..
