Good amenities and quality overall. Just wish the bar/lounge hours were updated on the guest services directory. Despite saying it was available daily until 11PM, the bar was closed the entire time I stayed here. Plenty of local food places within walking distance, just wish there were more sidewalks.

This hotel was great, hotel check-in clerks were very friendly, checkout staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and updated, bathroom spotless, kudos to the housekeeping staff. The pool was clean and refreshing, the hot tub was very nice as well. Would recommend to anyone.

Very clean hotel. NIce lobby, too! Good breakfast. My only issues were that the shower door would not close completely, causing minor flooding to the bathroom floor, and that I could not see where to turn on the jets in the hot tub near the pool. I also wish the bar had drink options other than just beer and wine.

Stayed one night for a quick weekend trip to Wilmington/Carolina Beach. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good including eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. The facility is well maintained with a heated pool and hot tub. We got a king room which was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time during our stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We found a great steakhouse a mile from the property. Close to Wilmington and Carolina Beach. They had coffee available in the lobby all day!! The pool is smaller but the outdoor area around the pool was very nice, even had music playing on the speakers at the pool. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area.

As soon as we walked in the door i had to kiil two roaches. The room was warm with tge AC set to 65 degrees. We couldn't walk on the floors without socks it was sticky lije it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bed was comfortable we brought our own pillows we always do. We have visited a lot of pet friendly hotels this by far has been the most uncomfortable due the roaches we felt unclean and was ready to check out. The staff was very nice and did a good job. We didn't ask for another room if roaches are in one usually they are in all.

The front staff was very nice and accommodating even changing my room to one with a tub upon my request. The breakfast was very good. My only concern was that carpets and upholstery in the room was quite dirty. It was clear that nothing had ever been shampooed. I mentioned to the front desk and they acknowledged that the hotel would be going under renovation. Housekeeping is clearly a problem at this property.

We were in Room 215. The bed was so hard that we did not sleep well at all. I even got up and sat in the chair part of the night. This was not a good sleep experience, and that is what we needed most.

The hotel is located in Leland, which is very close to Wilmington. All other hotels we considered in Wilmington were $50-$75 higher. And this was one of the nicest Best Westerns I’ve stayed in. The only downside was the hotel allowed pets and our room was in the section where guests with pets stay, so we heard a lot of barking dogs.

Check in, the girl at the desk was training, her "coach" had us check into the wrong room. Even though the trainee questioned it. When we got to the room it was occupied. They said they were staying for 3 more days and that it took 3 tries to get the keys to there room straight. I went back to the desk and the "coach" said my bad I was talking. Karaoke that night. A group of tween boys were singing. I stood at the bar area for 10 minutes, then walked away as I was ignored. I came back after the kids left and asked if the bar was open. The answer was yes, beer and wine only. I asked for a couple different wines. They weren't chilled. I received a quarter of a glass as a sample. Then asked for another glass. She emptied the bottle, but was half a glass and said that the other woman would ring it up. The other woman proceeded to wait on someone else, poured them a glass of wine that had double the amount that I had. I purposely didn't take a drink and asked her about it. She said she must have emptied the bottle, I said yes. Then she found more of the same wine and added to my glass. No apologies.

When I arrived at 8:10 pm there was no one at the check in desk, had to wait 10 minutes for her to finally arrive to check me in. While I was waiting I rang a bell that was supposed to be on the counter but instead was behind the counter. Upon ringing it the top fell off and landed behind the desk on the floor. I went through an open door to get the top of the bell that was on the floor behind the counter. When leaving the behind counter area with the bell top the check in girl finally arrived and very rudely scolded me for going behind the counter to retrieve the bell top. I explained why I was there and asked her why the check in counter was not being manned for 10 minutes she said that she was only gone for 5 minutes I then told her that I arrived at 8:10 and showed her my cell phone which showed 8:20. She was extremely rude and disrespectful to me plus she left the check in counter unattended for at least 10 minutes and probably more on a July 4th weekend at during prime check in time I will NEVER stay at a Best Western again due the rude and disrespectful attitude she gave me!!!!

So we had trouble traveling down to Wilmington. After a long exhausting drive we arrived at the hotel only to be told that they apparently closed out our reservation because of a night audit. The staff was rude when I called regarding the air condition not working and the keys were not working to the doors. I had to ask for four new sets of keys, none of which worked and multiple other people were complaining about this so I don’t know why this hasn’t been resolved. I mean, when you’re out in heat, I don’t think you should be fiddling with a key to get into your door and not just one door but the door from the outside and the door getting into your room, the door getting into the pool, the door getting into the gym, LITERALLY EVERYWHERE! Also, the front desk ladies, well their attitudes were terrible so maybe you could work on some customer service skills. I don’t ever leave reviews, so that right there should tell you a little something

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy. The pool was clean and heated. They even provided towels by the pool. The bed was also comfortable. We really enjoyed being close to so many things and only 40 minutes from the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast staff rude when asked for where items were: EX: asked for salt and pepper- staff threw open the drawer to find , placed it forcefully on counter and then said “ no salt” and left. Felt he was overwhelmed and unprepared. Also coffee carafe was low and told to use the machine there which took forever and caused a line to wait for! Other than this issue, front desk very pleasant , room comfortable ! Will return on next travel to visit family .

The hotel is very nice. The room was great. The bathroom is in dire need of an upgrade. The breakfast in thr morning was good, however it lacked any sort of meat. No sausage no bacon, no ham nothing. No signage directing you to an entrance of how it flowed. The food was good though and it was hot and fresh. Overall 9 out of 10
