DO NOT STAY HERE. The internet was down when we arrived so we couldn't check in right away. The front desk employee was incredibly nice and got us checked in as much as she could while waiting for the internet to come back up. Texas issues a paper license when you get transfer or renew your license and they almost didn't accept mine, which is weird since that is the procedure in Texas. The biggest reason I chose this hotel was the pool. Guess what was closed??? Why is that not in the hotel listing??? The first room we went to had someone's coffee and snacks in it. We were moved to another room but it only had one bed. The third room was ok until we went in the bathroom and someone had used it, leaving urine on the seat and floor and toilet paper in the toilet. Finally, the fourth room was clean until we woke up the next morning to roaches crawling everywhere. In the tub, sink, fridge, and yes... our stuff. The air conditioner was falling apart and rattled, which at least helped muffle the sound of the people moving around on the floor above. I have always had a good experience at Extended Stay but I don't know if I will ever stay at another one. I have no idea how this hotel had such a good rating.

The room was spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed and no traffic noise. The only problem was the elevator was out of order and I had to drag heavy bags up the stairs. It was not a deal breaker for me but was inconvenient. I can see where it would be a deal breaker for anyone not able to do it.

Key cards for room consistently don’t work. Someone other than staff got into my room. Pool was unmaintained no skimmer to clean pool. No minimum amenities like a coffee pot. Every question asked was answered my Manager is working on that but never saw any results.

The room I was assigned to smelled of pet urine. The carpet was dirty. The bed was old and uncomfortable. There were roaches and no housekeeping until a week after I had been there; I left before the week was up. I left a day early. Also, I vacuumed the carpet, took the trash out myself and on Sunday before my checkout, the gentleman that was to spray for roaches finally got there. I informed him I was leaving that day and no need to spray while I was still there. I was called in for an emergent case at work and had to leave, when I got back the A/C was turned off and someone had used the toilet (the lid was up). I’m female, so there was no need to have the toilet lid up. The front desk staff were very understanding of my needs and my requests. The owners however, were not. I saw them on the Sunday I checked in and not again until the Sunday I checked out; they don’t greet you or even acknowledge you. And lastly, the hallways reeked of marijuana the side doors of the complex do not work, they’re loose and won’t open from the outside.

The facility needs a major upgrade. The beds are full size and not double as advertised. Complained about the noise above me, it wasn't addressed. They count towels before issuing clean ones, as if someone would take those dingy towels. The exercise room is missing most of the dumbbells.

Barely any accommodations or assistance in times of need. Keys barely worked and tended to need to be replaced by staff. Staff was friendly but the hotel itself wasn’t a great experience. Won’t be staying again.

Broken elevator so we got last room on first floor (I have a foot cast) but did not have couch like we requested. Bugs in room on kitchen counter and bath. Bath light 1/2 out and could not find a switch for lights over sink. To go breakfast was packaged blueberry muffins and quaker oats cereal bags, 2 kinds of quaker chewy bars and tea and coffee. Ran out of cereal paper cups last 2 days of stay. 4 day stay over xmas. Lobby minimal but clean. No cleaning /towel service unless requested. No utensils, china or tableware in room. Must request each item from a locked glass fronted cabinet near lobby.

The hospitality was great, and the cleanliness was excellent. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. The only negative was that the plates, cups, silverware, and coffee pot had all been removed from the room, which was a bit inconvenient.

The manager and the staff were very nice and helpful, but the hotel is dirty. The carpeting in the stairwell is extremely stained and smelled badly. We saw several dead cockroaches in the hallways at different times. The floor in our room had dirty in the corners that was never swept up and the furniture in the room was either stained or broken. The decor in the rooms is outdated. The hotel doesn't have a generator, so when there was a power outage, all of the food in our refrigerator spoiled.

Uncomfortable and smelly, the bed and pillows were not comfortable, bed appeared smaller than a queen. There was an odor entering the hotel, like moldy smell, as well as in the room. Paint chipping of walls and dirt marks all over doors. There was never anyone visible at the front desk. Pluses, It is across from a hospital and convenient to town, also had good water pressure in the shower. Definitely overpaid for conditions we stayed in.

Not kept in good condition. Bed broken and shower not cleaned. We tried to move hotels but Thanksgiving wèek availability was not good. Staff refused to make coffee at breakfast even though it was an hour before they shut done breakfast time. Told me to was half mile to hospital for coffee. Do not book this hotel!!

If your looking for a clean one night stay for cheap this hotel is it. The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. The bed was horrible. Couldn’t move without it making lots of noise. Springs was beyond wore out and it sunk in the middle. Definitely needed to be replaced. Comforter was also stained up. No hot water, at best it was luke warm if that. No coffee pot or hair dryer in room. They are provided if you ask. Not sure if coffee is provided for rooms. You can get some at breakfast. Breakfast is a grab and go with muffins and some oatmeal you can fix but no hot water to use. Area was safe and tucked off of main road at a dead end around healthcare places.

The hotel was conveniently close to the hospital which I had surgery at. The hotel room and front desk were very nice. However, I was unable to sleep the night before my surgery because the noise from the laundry facility was so loud. I heard every time the washer changed cycles or spun the cloths out all night long/ every night. No rest before my surgery or the nights my wife remained at the hotel until I left the hospital. Not what we had hoped for.

The property is old and dated. Except for trash in the trash can, the room was clean. Bed was comfortable but sheets were pretty worn. We booked, and were charged, for a room with 2 beds and were given a room with one bed. The property is in a quiet area, which was nice. We did enjoy the full sized fridge and freezer since we were traveling with a lot of food.

Uncomfortable and smelly, the bed and pillows were not comfortable, bed appeared smaller than a queen. There was an odor entering the hotel, like moldy smell, as well as in the room. Paint chipping of walls and dirt marks all over doors. There was never anyone visible at the front desk. This was the first time staying at an ESA. I was impressed that they had a disability lift poolside. The staff was superb. Breakfast consists of instant oatmeal, pre packaged blueberry muffins and excellent coffee. Alex, the GM, was understanding of our need to leave early and helped us receive a credit for having to do so.

If your looking for a clean one night stay for cheap this hotel is it. The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. The bed was horrible. Couldn’t move without it making lots of noise. Springs was beyond wore out and it sunk in the middle. Definitely needed to be replaced. Comforter was also stained up. No hot water, at best it was luke warm if that. No coffee pot or hair dryer in room. They are provided if you ask. Not sure if coffee is provided for rooms. You can get some at breakfast. Breakfast is a grab and go with muffins and some oatmeal you can fix but no hot water to use. Area was safe and tucked off of main road at a dead end around healthcare places.

The hotel was conveniently close to the hospital which I had surgery at. The hotel room and front desk were very nice. However, I was unable to sleep the night before my surgery because the noise from the laundry facility was so loud. I heard every time the washer changed cycles or spun the cloths out all night long/ every night. No rest before my surgery or the nights my wife remained at the hotel until I left the hospital. Not what we had hoped for.

Had brother admitted to hospital but this hotel is an easy walk. Short on very local restaurants and stores.Great place if you have business at HCA Kingwood facility. Staff was very courteous and attentive to any issues presented. The lack of dining options is offset somewhat by the facilities in the room. The pool is a nice feature in a hotel this size.

This hotel was convenient for me when I needed to stay in the area for a week. The area is quiet, not on a main highway but close enough. The air conditioning worked extremely well, I set the temperature higher than I normally would do I didn’t freeze.

Very nice and clean and safe. Quiet neighborhood near medical facilities. Dog friendly. Has a kitchen. The only thing I didn’t like was the vending machine was out of bottled water so just bring your own and you’re all set.

Key cards for room consistently don’t work. Someone other than staff got into my room. Pool was unmaintained no skimmer to clean pool. No minimum amenities like a coffee pot. Every question asked was answered my Manager is working on that but never saw any results.

The bed was broken. The room smelled weird. Having a kitchenette is cool but no dishes or utensils to use isn’t helpful. It’s kool that they have free dvd rentals at the front desk. Would’ve been nice to have a dvd player in the room. The staff was nice.

The hospitality was great, and the cleanliness was excellent. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. The only negative was that the plates, cups, silverware, and coffee pot had all been removed from the room, which was a bit inconvenient.

Never Again! no stopper in the tub, no hair dryer, and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. No light bulb in the lamp next to the bed. No coffee pot or coffee in the room. For a "suite" with a refrigerator, sink, disposal, and stove, there wasn't ONE utensil; no cutlery, bowls, or plates, etc. We asked for spoons at the desk and it was a huge production along with getting a few paper bowls. Seeing the police holding a woman in handcuffs out in front was another "clue" to stay elsewhere. Found a large cockroach dead near our desk the next morning. When I showed a photo to staff they said there were no additional rooms--they were full. But based on the cars in the lot, this place couldn't have been more than 1/3 full. Breakfast downstairs was packets of oatmeal and small blueberry muffins in plastic. The coffee downstairs was the only redeeming point--it was quite good. When we asked for 2 extra towels, we were asked, "why, don't you have any in your room?" and were reluctantly given 2 more(with stripes). Stayed 2 nights and never had our room serviced. We collected our garbage and put it outside our room Saturday morning. It was there on Sunday. One wash cloth was all that was in the room.

It was ok. Room cleaning was supposed to happen day 7, someone finally showed up on day 8. During the snowstorm and was working from home that day....no housekeeper spoke English was finally able to get towels changed out with google translate. Put king size beds in some of the rooms, queen is small and uncomfortable. This motel is not set up for long term, no dishes, pots, pans, coffee pot, ect are in the rooms , although the website says they are furnished. Our refrigerator had to be changed out so we ended up with no ice maker.

Broken elevator so we got last room on first floor (I have a foot cast) but did not have couch like we requested. Bugs in room on kitchen counter and bath. Bath light 1/2 out and could not find a switch for lights over sink. To go breakfast was packaged blueberry muffins and quaker oats cereal bags, 2 kinds of quaker chewy bars and tea and coffee. Ran out of cereal paper cups last 2 days of stay. 4 day stay over xmas. Lobby minimal but clean. No cleaning /towel service unless requested. No utensils, china or tableware in room. Must request each item from a locked glass fronted cabinet near lobby.
