What guests think
Across recent reviews, JA Beach Hotel, Dubai stands out for friendly staff, multiple pools, and a beachfront, creating a relaxed, family-friendly resort feel, while recurring critiques note the remote location, some dated rooms, occasional noise at night, and value concerns.
Food quality and some restaurants earn praise, but guests mention high prices, limited all-inclusive venues, and breakfast gaps for certain dietary needs. Facilities are broad, with a beach, several pools, kids areas and a spa, yet reports include occasional pool closures, crowded loungers, and nearby construction. Cleanliness is generally strong, though a few guests flagged isolated hygiene lapses and beach litter attention. Expect a relaxing resort stay best for those prioritising on-site amenities over quick city access.

Swimming pool was closed. Too much noise for the maintenance work on the pool. Old hotel. This information should’ve been mentioned clearly before confirming the booking specifically with their non refundable cancellation policy. Not flexible at all.

Nice hotel and a great location if you want to be away from downtown. Many choices of outside areas, beaches, pools, harbor.

Staff are wonderful, Mani at the pool bar, Adkil at Vasco de gama and all staff in the sports bar ans restaurants. Plenty of options for pools, lots of sun beds and the resort is very clean. Unfortunate to have the building work going on, would have been better doing this in the summer with kess oeople around.

Hotel facilities EXTREMELY over occupied. Literally can't find a spot to sit at the pool/beach. Refused us a late checkout (although we're eligible). Very slow service. Kitchens course way to early! It's just an OLD hotel. Very low value for money

Weekend end getaway. Older hotel and quite secluded. Hotel breakfast buffet was good but the evening buffet was overpriced and not of a good quality with limited choices. Bed was comfortable. Beach was very nice but would not stay again. Views from their beach was basically of a industrial shipping port. Overall not what was expected from the hotels write ups.

The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The shuttle to the malls was a nice bonus too. 2 things I think could be better would be free water, or refill stations for our own bottles. More attention to garbage clean up on the beach, overall it didn't effect my stay at all but I appreciate when hotels go above and beyond to help remove plastic.

This hotel is beginning to show it's age, and whilst it is still very good I felt it has waned from the previous time I stayed (last year). It's still an excellent hotel - I like it because it's quiet, big, sporty and wide open. It's also on the beach so it's breezy which is great during the hot months. Sadly, the room upgrade was pointless. BUT! The team at the Italian restaurant on the rooftop are FABULOUS. Really, the service at that hotel is second-to-none. The price should be reduced to reflect the age of the hotel.

Spa was amazing, the staff was great and professional. We really enjoyed a nice family vacation at the resort. A special thanks to Prasad and Vicky from the breakfast staff in the kitchen for considering our dietary wishes.

Excellent facilities, excellent and helpful staff. Only downside was music blaring from another venue until early hours of the morning on one night of our five night stay.

I had an unforgettable stay at Jebel Ali Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional – the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful, well-maintained grounds and a pristine private beach that offered the perfect place to unwind. The restaurants offered a wide range of delicious cuisines, and the food quality was top-notch. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had amazing views of the ocean. Overall, Jebel Ali Beach Resort provided an incredible experience and exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing getaway!

Hotel facilities EXTREMELY over occupied. Literally can't find a spot to sit at the pool/beach. Refused us a late checkout (although we're eligible). Very slow service. Kitchens course way to early! It's just an OLD hotel. Very low value for money

I had a disappointing check-in experience at the hotel. As an Expedia gold member, I was expecting to receive an upgrade, subject to availability. Surprisingly, there was an available upgrade, but the hotel staff informed me that I needed to be a gold member with their specific program. I requested, at the very least, a room with a view, highlighting my status as an Expedia gold member. However, the receptionist signed me up for their membership, even though I already had a membership with Expedia. The check-in process was frustratingly slow, with an excessive amount of paperwork to sign. While the hotel itself was decent, I believe there is room for improvement in their services. They should be more accommodating to guests who come from different platforms with various memberships. It's disheartening that, despite being a loyal Expedia member since 2010, I was treated in such a manner simply because I didn't make a direct reservation with the hotel.

Location
The hotel is remote from downtown Dubai; many note long travel times but appreciate the free mall shuttles. It suits guests seeking a quiet, self-contained resort, is convenient for Expo for some, and parts of the beach face an industrial port.

Great place out of the way though it was close to small palm but was wrong. If I had checked I would have stayed closer to Dubai and Atlantis. Don’t have your clothes washed there they charge way too much.

Lovely hotel, but the location wise isn't the best as it's too far from Dubai. Excellent staff, but the cutleries smelled like eggs that my husband and I hated. We stayed over for five days, and every day we had the same problem with the cutleries. I wouldn't say the food tasted good, but overall the staff were very polite.

The “all inclusive” option on hotels.com turned out to be the Premium All Inclusive plan which is good value for an all inclusive because the food and drinks you get is the same as other people who are paying for it. A bit limited in the restaurant options that’s actually all inclusive but it’s not bad if you go to all of them (some are a bit far, eg. you need to book a shuttle to get to). The all inclusive tiering is really complicated but if you get the premium it’s pretty good, you can go almost anywhere and have a full meal&drinks.

An excellent and well needed break! Could ask to stay at a better resort for a relaxing fun time all in one. Staff in some areas could be more proactive / helpful (eg. Clearing plates quicker at breakfast etc). Sandbar, Sette and Bibe the real standouts from a great 10 days
