The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. It was difficult to find parking so we had to park on the street. The room door and hallway carpet was very old and dirty and the door was hung crooked which didn't feel very safe.

I booked a couple months in advance the listing said it had a microwave of course when we get there, there is no microwave and the listing has changed which is upsetting then there’s not enough parking so I parked on the street an got ticketed so that was fun. Not horrible but probably wouldn’t stay again.

The room was big and comfortable. The bed was clean. The floor laminate felt kind of sticky, but I am assuming that's due to whatever cleaning product is used. The parking lot leaves much to be desired, but that's not a deal breaker - it's rather small and tight to get out of. Especially if all spots are taken. The TV in the room didn't work for me, so that's a bummer. In the bathroom, the toilet and sink were a little small, but that's understandable as it is an older building. Overall, this place is well worth staying at, especially if you want to be in Hollywood.

Served our needs. We were in town for one night before a Route 66 trip. There’s a small parking lot out back, which was extra convenient. We had a late check-in (after lobby door locked) due to flight timing, and staff was there to let us in. No frills, but that’s just what we wanted and expected.

There was a serious disinfectant odor in our room that was almost unbearable. I would recommend less chemical. It was however, quiet and conveniently close to target!! So that was a win!

Very clean building and pretty big rooms. T.V. With cable and the apps. Very close to public transportation including the Metro train and public buses. Easy to locate different places to eat. Room was very nice, large, quiet, and clean clean clean. Area was a little sketchy but not "dangerous" by any mean. I meant you get to see homeless people around the area (where don't you see this around the big cities in the U.S.) , but no one interrupts your walk or any of your business. Check-in was smooth and so was the check out. Yes, I would stay again in here.

Husband and I stayed here for about 12ish due to its cleanliness. It was dirty, hair on the blankets and in the bathrooms. Roaches in the bathroom and just not what any of the positive reviews said. Will never stay again. Motel 6 is better then any of these small motels

We spent only one night out of four due the extremely poor conditions and they refunded only two rather than three. From the moment we entered, we met people in bad conditions. The room was tidy but with few amenities. The heating system was really noisy. The bedspread had holes and to thin. The bathroom was marked with cigarettes burn on walls and sink. The next morning ther was a cockroach in the shower. You could hear the conversation of the other rooms and smoke. The smell was unbearable.

Hotel was disgusting with a very strong curry stench. My room was not cleaned properly. Bathroom was gross. I had to clean and disinfect it myself. An awful fight broke out in the middle of the night with a woman screaming for her life. I just didn’t feel safe. Drug addicts in front of the hotel too. The staff was nice specifically Patrick.

Room was huge. It smelled of cleaning products though and there were no lamps at the bedside so you had to turn off the light and make your way to the bed in the dark. (I used my cellphone for light though, lol). For the price it was comfortable, had a TV, refrigerator (wish there were a microwave - it had none). It was secure, and had a nice hot shower. No frills and thrills. Got the job done.

The rooms are spacious... the walls are thin. The beds are worthy... there's no bed side lamp. The water is good hot and the tub large... I had to use the washcloth as the stopper. The first night I was given rm. 103 which is too very near the entrance frontdesk and noisy. At least the manager gave rm. 210 for the rest of my stay.

On the plus side, the room was spacious and clean, although basic, and the staff was nice. It was also a convenient six or seven-minute walk from the Hollywood/Western subway station. The room needed to better illuminated, as its only lighting came from two dim ceiling fixtures. The illumination could be much improved by the addition of a floor lamp, as well as bedside lamps on either side of the bed. The gentleman at reception kind enough to lend us one bedside lamp.

I actually really enjoyed the location and the local vibe. Room was huge.nicely furnished.only 2 complaints.bed was big .just very hard.and the other was room had bathtub just no stopper.no way to use it.was so looking forward to.other than that it was nicer than expected.

This is not a 5 Star hotel, but it is comfortable. It is a little dated and could use an upgrade, but it's not a bad place. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked great and had hot water. No pest or critters in my room, so that makes me happy. I would love to have a microwave in my room to go with the mini fridge. All in all, for what you pay compared to what you get is not bad. I will stay here again.

Located about 8 minutes of slow walk from Hollywood Western Metro Station. Other than the metro station, i do not see any homeless people hanging around, as some of the reviews have claimed, so i felt safe during my stay. Basic hotel that meets my needs. Room is clean and the TV has a wide selection of channels, including HBO. Overall, for the price, this hotel is a good deal, clean and conveniently located near the metro.

Staff was rude as my husband said how you doing brother to a worker and he said that’s now how you greet someone and started a fight like he was going to start a fight. For sure not the hotel or location I thought I was booking. This hotel is in the HOOD!

The property is in a great location and the room was large. The Inn is competitively priced and represents good value for money. The cleaning staff were very friendly, however, the reception staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. The Inn needs a security door on the main entrance as there are a significant number of homeless on West Sunset Bvld. Anyone can walk into the property at night and they do enter the hotel. A man with mental health issues entered the inn (at 2-3am) and was shouting at guests to come out. He eventually left the premises.

I payed under 120 for this room it wasn’t the newest but it was good nice and clean the customer service was great. they let us check in early and we had no problem coming back very late ( we were staying there cuz we went to horror nights). Idk what his name was he might of been a maintenance man because we saw him speaking to house keeping but that man was very kind and helpful because of him I’m giving this inn 5 stars thankyou sir 😊

It was great for the price, nothing fancy, but clean and simple. Really close to subway and bus stops. It was clean, no bugs, roaches and housekeeping everyday. Area has a reputation for homelessness, but I never felt unsafe. The people around left me alone. Very quick and easy check-in with no deposit required. I have no complaints.

My friend and I stayed at Hollywood Stars Inn for a week while in LA to see a couple of concerts. Overall our room was big and quite nice and it had been cleaned when we checked in, but it felt like the floor hadn't been properly cleaned for a while - when we walked in the room after taking a shower, we would soon have dirt on our feet (and this was on the first evening already). We forgot to mention this to the staff, so we don't know if someone would've come to clean the floor if we asked. The staff were very friendly and service minded though, thank you! This hotel doesn't have a restaurant so keep that in mind when booking. But thanks to the location there are some shops and restaurants within walking distance, and it's easy to take an Uber or a bus as well. All in all it was a very good accommodation for our needs since we were mostly out and about during our days and evenings, and I would stay here again if I wanted an affordable place to stay close to Hollywood and central LA.

Budget hotel was perfect for our needs, close enough to enjoy many kinds of foods in a short work. close to the hollywood walk of fame. We had friends staying at a fancy hotel to the West and we had less issues than them. Construction and traffic noise can be an annoyance for the 1-3 rooms closest to the front. We were the 2nd room upstairs and traffic never woke us up.

I like the fact that it was in proximity of everything. Shopping, dining, entertainment, adult entertainment and the area seems safe. I'd definitely stay again. What i didn't like was parking. Very small parking lot. Everything else is ok. A larger TV would be 👍 👌.
