Clean room, they clean up after whenever we go to dinner. Air conditioning in the rooms. We had an early arrival, they checked us in right away, gave us our bracelet & we were able to use all amenities although the room were not ready until 1pm. All the staff were nice, the nightly shows were great. The dinner restaurants were great.

We enjoyed our stay very much - clean, modern and comfortable room, lots of choice in terms of pools and we were even able to use the beach on rare sargassum-free days. The food at Adelita Mexican restaurant is stellar, buffet is also good though they don't change the dishes every day so not a lot of variety. We got four speciality meals for a ten-night stay, I felt one more would have been the correct amount as would have liked to try all 5 speciality restaurants. The grounds are pretty and full of cute agoutis running around, but the location is a real selling point - Puerto Aventuras is a very safe, gated community, so you can walk over to the nice marina and do some souvenir shopping/eat out.

The overall experience was good. The food was okay, but I wish there were more authentic Mexican options to really feel like we were experiencing Mexico. I also wish food could be served by the pool. Guests currently have to leave their lounge seats, and since saving seats isn’t allowed, it can be inconvenient—especially for families with kids who are enjoying the pool and don’t want to leave. It would be great if they offered simple poolside options like nuggets, chicken strips, fries, or nachos. It’s nice that kids are allowed in all pools, and the water temperature is warm, which made it enjoyable for families. There’s also a designated pool for Privilege guests, which is a great option when the other pools get crowded. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, others seemed to avoid eye contact or looked like they didn’t want to be approached. A simple smile or a more welcoming attitude would make a big difference, as at times it felt like I was bothering them when asking for assistance.
