What guests think

Across many reviews, Hampton Inn & Suites Crawfordsville is praised for very clean, well kept spaces, friendly service, and a solid hot breakfast, with a warm pool and hot tub and generally spacious, comfortable rooms appealing to families and road-trippers.

Some travelers report noise from adjoining rooms or upper floors and doors closing loudly. Opinions on mattress firmness and pillows vary, and a few rooms had dim lighting or awkward layouts or HVAC airflow onto the bed. There are occasional maintenance or amenity hiccups (elevator downtime, fitness room limitations, laundry or hot tub issues) and isolated service problems, including a reservation mix-up and inconsistent staff professionalism. Overall, expect a dependable stop with convenient highway access.

My husband and I had a lovely 3-day stay at this Hampton Inn. We had a spacious room with a queen-sized bed, sitting area, desk, under counter refrigerator, etc. I believe there was also an indoor pool, but we did not make use of this amenity. We did have to use the guest laundry facility. The washing machine made a lot of noise (I think some belts that turn the drum need to be replaced). The guest dryer was not functional, but they graciously offered to dry our item in their in-house commercial laundry. I found them to be super friendly and truly interested in knowing how our stay was going. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly and non-intrusive, but accessible. And, it is always nice to get breakfast as part of the amenities before heading out for the day. By the way, we were in Indiana for a Fall Parents Weekend at Purdue, which happened to coincide with 3 performances by Taylor Swift in Indianapolis. The hotel was probably about at capacity, but all staff were accommodating and helpful every step of the way.

Facility was very clean a very quiet. It was an old facility remodeled. The ceiling in our room was creaky when the guests above us moved around. The breakfast was well stocked and the pool and hot tub were very clean. It is near the interstate and just a few miles from Crawfordsville.

Check in was smooth the girl at the desk was polite, efficient and so very helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and felt amazing! The room was impressively clean like whoever cleaned this room went the extra mile. When ib walked into this hotel i immediately noticed a "clean" smell. Not a cleaning product smell, not airfreshener smell but clean like fresh outside air after a rain clean. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on it was amazing i didn't want to get up. The breakfast was sufficient the breakfast area was clean. My only complaint to this entire stay was there was no bacon or sausage for breakfast. If you wanted protien you had to eat the premade omlette (not very good in my opinion) it the sausage gravy for the biscuts (all mixed together) like i said this is my only complaint. I found something to eat for breakfast they're was waffles and muffins as well as cold cereal and oatmeal. The variety was just smaller than i like. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AMAZING. I would Definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was good. Coffee at breakfast was sometimes good and other times very weak. A traveling baseball team was also visiting and we had issues with noise in the room above us two nights in a row. We had to call the front desk 4 total times including at 12:15 am on night two… The room above us was constantly in movement to the extent of making our ceiling and light fixtures to shake. We brought a box fan and had earplugs and still the noise and vibration was too much. There is no bench to lift weights in fitness room, just an assortment of hand weights. Also, lock in fitness room needs adjustment, seemed to almost lock us in.

The room was on the top like I requested👍 It had a comfortable bed, but the pillows flattened and got hard. The bathroom was a bit dirty. The shower doors and tracks looked like they had not been cleaned. There was dust in the cubbies where they kept the extra towels that looked like it had been there a while. I’m not sure if the grout was supposed to be dark, but if not, they were dirty. I was a room inspector for a DOD resort, so I know what a room should look like at check in.

Nice pool area. Breakfast was fine. Orange juice was bad. Coffee was good. 1st room we were given, had blood colored stains, at the head of the bed on the mattress pad/protector, we asked for a difference room, out of fear of a bed bug problem in the first room. We were finally given a different room. Housekeeping does not come everyday, but did stop by to replace desired towels, ect.. Not very good lighting in the room especially near the beds. Overall, I would stay somewhere else next visit. Safe area to stay overnight. 1st room noisy neighbors, 2nd room neighbors were quieter.

This hotel has been my go to on my cross country drive for the past few years. During this stay, they gave me a king handicapped accessible room. Our room was given away to another party with my same name (they had one room reserved, but were given both theirs AND ours since our common names were the same), so when I showed up after a long day of driving with my four exhausted kids at midnight, they did check us in and gave us keys, and when I sent my kids up to the room while I parked the car, someone was already sleeping in the room. I ended up having to make an additional hour and a half drive to find other accommodations that were available that night due to it being the Indy 500 weekend. I had booked the room 2 months ahead of time for that reason. While trying to figure it out, they wasted another 30 minutes of our already exhausting day of traveling. I was promised a follow up the following day, but no one ever called or attempted to make things right. I know mistakes happen, but it really made for a really hard night for me.
