What guests think

At Hampton Inn Leesburg/Tavares, guests frequently praise the welcoming front desk team, generally clean and comfortable rooms, and a convenient location near dining and the lake, though ongoing renovations have temporarily limited some amenities and disrupted routines for several stays.

Many reviews highlight friendly, accommodating service and newly updated rooms, while a number also mention issues like lumpy beds, weak shower pressure, noisy AC or hallway doors, and occasional key, billing, or check-in problems. Breakfast is often considered good when available, but renovation periods led to closures or reduced options, and some guests found the selection average or not diet friendly. Expect a friendly, convenient stay with potential renovation impacts and minor room variances.

Nothing on the Hotel.com website indicated the facility was under renovation. Our room never received service during our 4 day stay…completely unacceptable and disappointing. This is not indicative of the Hilton brand.

Everything at this hotel was great — bed, cleanliness (not any residual grime anywhere to be seen!), and especially the staff! The front desk guy the night I checked in was incredibly kind to this disabled fat old lady traveling solo!! This last two weeks I’ve flat-out fallen in love with Holiday Inn in all of its versions (Suites, Express, whatever). And the reasons are exactly what I experienced in Tavares and Melbourne!!

I was well-pleased with the cleanliness of my queen room that I stayed in. Even though I was supposed to stay in a king room, the queen room was a newly renovated room and I liked it. I had no complaints. I like the fact that they gave me free water when I checked in. The complimentary breakfast was also good. I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel. Thank you so much for your service! 😊👍

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. The room sleeps 5 yet there are only enough towels for 2. The pull out bed did not lay flat but at an awkward incline. Called the front desk for assistance. They came to the room but she said that was just the way it was and "it's just for the kids anyway right?" I stay in this area often, I will not stay here again
