What guests think

Reviews of Yas Plaza Bay highlight a convenient Yas Island location near malls, theme parks, and the airport, generally friendly staff, and spacious rooms, with breakfast often praised for variety while some guests note crowding or inconsistency.

Several reports mention slow or chaotic check in and a room inspection at checkout, plus occasional difficulties accommodating larger groups. Rooms can feel dated or have minor faults, but some offer impressive views of the marina, circuit, and golf course. Facilities are shared with neighboring hotels, with pool access and popular on site venues like a Belgian cafe and a Mexican restaurant receiving mixed feedback. Well suited to short stopovers.

Excellent location of the hotel. Just a 5-min taxi ride from Yas Mall, Ferrari World and Warner Brothers. We were given an excellent room on top floor, corner - had an amazing panoramic view of the golf course, Yas Marina F1 circuit and Ferrari World. Good eating options in the hotel (Mexican restaurant, Belgian cafe). Breakfast spread was good with lot of options (including local Indian cuisines). Staff was helpful and polite.

My family have been to Abu Dhabi a few times now and whilst I would say the quality of accommodation at Park Inn is wonderful other things around the hotel itself let it down for us. The staff around the pool were quite abrupt when we asked if the bar was open but did go to get a waiter who then told us of the limited stock they held and directed us to the bar a few hotels up, not what you want really in 43 degrees of heat everytime you want a drink. Also had the strangest checkout experience bare in mind I am 53 so not likely to damage a room or cause problems, we had to stand at reception for 10 mins why we were checking out early morning and wait for house keeping to be sent to our room 5 floors up to check we had left it in a satisfactory condition before we could leave … never had that before in any hotel we stayed in. Probably would not be my first choice to return to :-(

First of the front desk took 20-30min to get our room (with a chaotic waiting as there was no organized wait list and people cutting the que). The room was not prepared for 4 people as booked, there were only one king bed. They later added one small moveable bed, but expected the 4th kid to sleep on the sofa (that was not a pull out sofa and no sheets were provided) but the room was advertised as sleeps 4 (good luck to fit any teen on that sofa..). This meant several more trips to the front desk standing in the same que mentioned before.. The breakfast was just as chaotic, with high noise and people crammed in. The breakfast Variety was good, but most things were bland. At checkout they held us at the chaotic reception again as they wanted to check the room before us leaving the premises. Never experienced something like this and this delayed our departure and the days plans.
