Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Richardson

We enjoyed our stay. Rick was so nice and had such excellent customer service. The breakfast was better than most hotels. After a long day of walking through the city, I loved that the hot tub was open late. The room was a nice size and my daughter enjoyed the sofa bed. I liked the area it was in and there were some good food options there.

Staff was very nice. Rooms are a bit outdated and not the cleanest I stopped looking at things too closely to not get grossed out. A/C was not working turned the fan on and woke up to the room being 80 degrees. Pool had brown algae and hot tub was not warm. But it is better than other hotels around Richardson/Plano area. Right on highway to get around quickly.

Hotel was full. Had a convention or something going on and only had 1 elevator working. Overall not a bad stay. Bed and pillows were super comfy

Property was clean, lobby was spacious and inviting, pool was nice and gym had nice equipment. Halls at rooms level look nice and clean.

The first room I was allotted in 2nd floor was smelling and Internet was not working so I had to change to another room on 4th floor. Even after that, coffee machine was not working and the towels also don't have a proper fresh smell. There is a pool on the property but its length is too small and can be used only by children. The Gym has very few equipment and as I mentioned above the hand towels were also not smelling fresh.

I walked into the hotel after A long trip and was greeted by a gentleman At the desk who proceeded to tell me about all of the charges that I would be nickel and dimed for. Rather than accepting the fact that Hotels.com stated that there was free parking, he insisted that the four dollar charge per night was something that the Hilton had decided and did not “update the third-party about”. I was told that I should speak with the manager who never showed up that evening and did not come in until at least two days later. After waiting two days, I still could not get in touch with the manager and spoke with a gentleman by phone from my room named Carlos, who also refused to take any action because he is not the manager. He could hear that I was getting upset and had the audacity to tell me to relax, and then proceeded to tell me that the charges for the parking were not on my bill in the first place. Although it’s only four dollars per night, the principal is important because I was promised free parking and I did not deserve to be treated that way for a legitimate concern. I also found it ridiculous that they charge you $100 for incidentals so they can play with your money while you are staying there in the event of damage.

The hotel was great and the staff were friendly. The hot tub wasn't working, however the pool was nice. The exercise room was great as well.

This was a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Just know that there is a fee to park each day and the Wi-Fi is not complimentary.

I’ve been staying here for about a month waiting on an apartment and I have been delighted by the employees, mgr, and the all around atmosphere of this hotel. The grounds have outdoor gardens and a beautiful patio, a small but luxurious saltwater pool and a good gym. The employees are top notch. I absolutely love this hotel and recommend everyone to stay and relax, walk around and see the beautiful paintings and have a margarita!

Really enjoyed the patio area with heaters and fire pits where you can watch three large screens. service from the bar was impeccable, both I nside and outside. Rims and beds were very comfortable, but our toilet overflowed, and had to be shut off.. luckily, they were able to immediately put us in a new room!

Check in had some issues but it was my fault. I forgot my ID at home. However the desk clerk was extremely understanding and very helpful. He was able to get me checked in through alternate means and it was smooth sailing from there. Only one elevator was working, luckily it was not busy so we entered swiftly. The bathroom was beautiful, and the beds were heaven. The room did have a musty smell though. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. Definitely will book again when we come back to Dallas.

Overall, it was a good experience and i would stay again. Would rate a 5, except the room had a damp odor.

Bathroom was dirty. There was a towel that had small hair on it and a pad was under one of the towels. Shower was dirty, the door was dirty. The walls were dirty. I wiped it down to see if it was just a stain and nope it was dirty. Had bugs by shower.

We had a terrible stay at Hilton Garden Inn in Dallas/Richardson. We walked in the room and it smelled like there had been a previous fire and they did not get the smell out. The elevators were against our side wall. We heard them all night long. We also heard the cars on the highway all night long. There were cobwebs where the ceiling met the wall. There were 2 windows in the room which had 2 shades on each window. Both shades on each window were pulled down but would not go up. They said they would send the maintenance man but he never showed. They finally gave us a different room for the second night after previously telling us they were booked solid.

Staff were friendly. The room was clean. Quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, but my room smelled of stale cigarettes and mildew. Also, the bed was hard and soundproofing was inadequate (could hear walking and tv in the next room).

It is so loud and there is no sound insulation. It sound like there are people running and stomping up down the floor and you can hear kids crying from the hallway. I thought it would be mostly business people and it was... but I heard everything even at 3am.

they took a while to check us in because there was no one at the reception. and the the mini fridge was not working properly. Everything else is excellent.

The air conditioning was not working properly on my room. It was 100 degrees outside and my room was at 78 degrees. I reported it to the desk and a maintenance man did not check it until the next morning. So uncomfortable I did not sleep well. Even after maintenance it did not get any cooler. They offered me to move to another hotel without an immediate refund.

Property renovated and looks nice and up to date. The room I was in was next to elevators and was horribly loud. Had to change rooms at 11pm. The manager did offer another room but was unapologetic. They should not rent that room, it sounds like someone is moving a bed across cement floor every time elevator used.

Bed uncomfortable Sinking in

Normally I don’t fill these out. But, from the time I checked in, everything went wrong. It took 35 minutes to check in, the desk clerk was sick and dripping fluids all over the keys, the refrigerator didn’t work, the ac wouldn’t go below 71, and when I asked for my room to be serviced while I was out for the day on my second day, it never got done. Then, later in the evening, room service knocked on my door when I had my “do not disturb” sign out. Not up to Hilton/GI standards.

well kept property. staff friendly but not the most competent when it came to reservation specifics like details as to who in our party had rooms and who did not causing us to double book with expedia and lending no help to resolve. generally very clean except carpets were disgusting as well as under sink. breakfast very good

Associate working front desk was not friendly and I fear hates her job… a lot.

We requested the room to be defeathered due to a severe allergy. Called Hilton directly ahead of arriving and confirmed this with them. Room was full of feathers, housekeeping was already gone for the day so we were unable to stay at the hotel. Instead of management taking accountability for the error they attempted to turn it around on me saying feathers were removed. Later admitting they left the feather pillows in the room. Ultimately advised they were unable to accommodate that request on short notice.

Perfect location and amenities while visiting son at UTD

Safe, clean, close to campus

The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. The parking not good. The majority is bedhind the hotel and its very dark.

Hotel is in a great location. However it has run down some and service from front desk isn’t what it used to be; not as friendly and attentive. Also noticed I was charged for self parking in an outdoor parking lot.

While the property is near a busy turnpike, there are no restaurants or other amenities close to it. We had to drive 10 miles to a retail area and dining area. The staff were extremely pleasant, especially Mark at the bar. The pool was clean and accessible, and the workout facilities were excellent.

It is clean quiet and good area

Location is convenient and safe. We visit at Dallas for campus tours. We were so busy that couldn't use indoor pool and gyms. The price is affordable, and stuffs are very friendly.

Please reconsider staying at this hotel: 1. Late arrival, was greeted by a man, who clearly HATES his job. Didn\'t explain anything about the hotel, and when I asked about breakfast, he goes "I\'m getting to that, just relax and breath"..... was very demeaning, and gave me key and that was it. The first night was rough, bed was so FIRM, I woke up with back pain. 2. Showered and sat in the handicap chair which is what its intent is for, and the entire seat collapsed. I could have been injured! The blinds also didn\'t work, and had to have maintenance come and fix it and they ended up giving us another room, so had to move everything over. 3. We weren\'t told that we had to REQUEST room service, since the front desk guy upon check in pushed me away so quickly to get me away from him, had no clue and threw all the towels on the floor, only to learn that it\'s too late to have the room cleaned. Luckily I was able to request some clean towels at least. Later found the little writing on the keycard piece of paper that says you have to request it, but would have been nice to have been told upon check in as I missed it completely. So heads up to others! 4. There is no complimentary breakfast. $15 breakfast Buffett with rotten pastries they’re feeding people! Total health hazard!

like how well kept up it is and the breakfast is fabulous! rooms could use a deep clean including carpets. staff is nice but have dropped the ball and not been as accomodating (e.g., late checkout). we really like this hotel overall and have stayed several times

While a nice property, the service was limited. Only 2 people working after 3:30 pm. Very limited dining and bar options. Not a particularly good value. Nice property but expensive for what is offered.

One complaint that I have is that the breakfast is an extra charge is you book with any outside booking such as Expedia!! That is not explained to you when you check in!

This is my third time staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Richardson, and the service has always been outstanding. I enjoyed the breakfast, which was superb and excellent service and could accommodate my taste for a large cup of coffee with milk.

We’ve stayed at this property multiple times. The breakfast is fantastic. Pretty darn clean also. Comfortable beds comfortable rooms. Nice swimming area and nice surrounding area for pets to walk them.

The pool was not very sanitary. The service from check in to check out was the worse. Also, we were given coupons for breakfast times until 11am and the staff does not honor it and were very unfriendly and dismissive. No pleasant interactions at all at any point in time.
