At Best Western Plus Galleria Inn & Suites, travellers describe a convenient off-interstate location and generally clean, functional rooms, but note frequent highway noise, dated areas, and inconsistent maintenance such as elevator outages, noisy AC units, and occasional pests.

Staff feedback is split: many praise friendly, helpful service, while others report rude interactions or poor responses when problems arise. Breakfast often offers good variety, but machines or items can be down and quality varies. The property is conveniently located. The suite was more than enough space for us. One of the elevators was out of order and an inconvenience for my disabled mother. The carpet in the hall of the fifth floor smelled damp. Over all I'd stay again as long as the elevator is operating.

The staff wqs perfectly friendly. The facilities were the worst at any Best Western I've ever stayed at. The 1st room i was in had wet carpet, water was frequently visable in the elevator, the luandry for guests was in-opperatable, had a day with no hot water with a overall smell tbroughout the building. The parking lot was frequently blocked by illegally parked trucks, and escourt vehicles were releluctant to move when someone needed to pass.

As soon as we walked in the lobby smelled of smoke. The light over the sink area was not working. I asked for a different room and appreciated the opportunity to view the room first. The hallway smelled of marijuana and the room smelled like air freshener was being used to cover up smell. We found a dead roach in our room. The fitness area ac was not working. I had to stop working out because it was too hot. We will not be staying again.

This hotel was awful. The rooms stank and there was leaking trash left outside my door. The breakfast was disgusting and the website advertised a pool and then upon arriving I was told there was none. The “pool” was a water fountain outside. The staff were rude when I asked for a receipt. They were very slow and when there was a line of four people an employee stayed seated on the couch until something was said. It was way over priced. The elevator sounded like death and was filthy. Would never return.

Mold in room, closet and bathroom. Window seal cracked and foggy so view outside was poor. Dust balls on walls, very unclean. bathroom ceiling drywall was a disaster and had mold. shower head fell out of socket....so i took a shower 6" from the wall from a stream shooting out of the hole where the head was.

Staff was wonderful. Lobby was very well maintained and room was decently maintained. There were some annoyance with the room AC dripping water, making loud noises, and what seemed to be mold above it. But otherwise I was pleasantly surprised by the upkeep of the hotel. I booked an accommodation room. Staff member made sure to put me in a room with a walk in shower that I could crutch into. Unfortunately, there was no chair to sit in the shower- so I relied on my one good leg and hand rails. I probably could have asked for one, but I was there for a short night so I just dealt with it. Also, the shower head holder was apparently broken and the shower head fell directly onto the foot of my broken leg- ouch. The water pressure and temperature was great though. Other than the couple of issues, I was pretty impressed with how the hotel is ran. Would use it again for a one night stay.

I was disappointed that the highway noise from trucks really ratcheted up about 5am. Also, the remote didn’t work for the air conditioner so I had to climb on a chair to adjust. And because of the road noise I wanted the fan to blow all night. Luckily it was cool enough outside that I could put it on fan only because when the air conditioner was running, the fan cycled on and off. There was a tour group who ate all the breakfast so there wasn’t much left when we came down, they should have anticipated that.

Good price for the quality. Convenient to shopping and eating. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The bed was very firm, but if you like a hard bed, you'll enjoy it. We couldn't quite figure out how to operate the air conditioner, but we were still comfortable. Breakfast options were limited and could stand to be served/kept a little warmer. Disappointed they didn't serve grits. Bummer.

Mold in sink mold in bath tub bed sheets dirty filthy floor filthy trash behind bed flies kept coming up out of drain had to deal with that the entire stay someone killed a bunch of flies on wall in bathroom maids did not clean curtains were filthy I suspect something suspicious about the fire alarm in room did not look right. The stay was ok. The room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke and someone was smoking weed down the hall because the hallway smelled like it. The smell came in through the door. The beds were super lumpy and soft, and the A/C unit crackled loudly all night, coming on and off again. It wouldn't respond to the remote. The breakfast was ok, though the yogurt machine was broken and z the coffee was pretty gross. For the price, it was not worth it.

Pros- loved the room and the general area for restaurants, etc. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Cons-highway noise was constant and if a truck or motorcycle raved their engine it almost made you sit right up. One coffee machine was out of order and the one that did only gave half a cup. Milk machine was broke. Had gravy but no biscuits. Food temperature was lukewarm at best. Oil spray for waffles was empty. It just went on and on. The only tea bag option was Green Tea, no regular black tea. Hot water dispenser (same as coffee machine) dispersed half a cup. The water/coffee was hot though.

We stayed 6 nights. After 2 days, the coffee ran out in the lobby and wasn't filled the rest of the time we were there - not even for breakfast. One morning breakfast was removed, and/or empty by 9:15 (supposed to run till 9:30). One lady was working, but another was sitting at a breakfast table on her phone. Thus, no one was filling the empty trays before 9:30am. Also, the other room doors slam when closing, so wakes us up.

Breakfast was OK with some warm foods of scrambled eggs, sausage links, cream gravy, and biscuits. The orange juice was horrible and not real juice. Coffee was good though!
