Near the bridge we had to go over to washington .what we didnt like the ice machine didnt work the pool enclosure was closed and used for a storage room the beds were very uncomfortable.

Everything on the Oregon coast feels SO overpriced. Can't believe we had to pay over $200/night just for a Motel 6. Thankfully, we were surprised at how large the room was and how it felt clean and fairly newly redone (mostly, the floors and bedding), so that was a nice surprise. I don't know why, but both motels we stayed in on the coast were missing tissues -- an essential thing to keep stocked in any accommodations in my view. The parking lot is super cramped (the first night we arrived, we got literally the last spot and I couldn't even get out of the rental car on the passenger side because there was a pole in the way) and it seemed so bizarre that they required me to show the IDs of all adults, including our 18 yr old son, when I checked in. I'll also mention that we were in the top floor end unit and when in the bathroom (back corner of building), it felt like the whole building was shaking - I suspect because of the bridge traffic overhead/very nearby. That was a super weird sensation.

We had the view of the bridge, which was nice. Overall clean bed, towel and bathroom. Was disappointed that there were no shampoo, conditioners or hairdryer provided. As a stop over place, we only stayed one night, the price was good, the value was decent

Asked for tissue as there was a spot for it, no tissue is avaliable. Not a super comfortable bed and absolutely no shampoo or conditioner. Very plain. Hot tub and pool not working.

This property was very old, TV didn't work very good, there was no elevator and we had alot that needed to be secure in our room. Would I stay there again, NO WAY!

Older property. Stayed in a room on lowest floor, facing the water. Appears as if this room has flooded, floors were warped. Bathroom smelled like pee. Well established spider above the shower. Only 2 pillows on the bed. Staff was super friendly. There is a nice trail along the water & KFC is within a very short walk.

We had two nights scheduled for an event we had in town, but only stayed one. I got zero sleep that first night because I kept smelling mildew and couldn’t tell if it was the bed or the wall but it was so bad I couldn’t stay another night. The showers are also insanely loud and you only get a mini bar of soap to clean yourself

The outside looks very run down and unsafe. Inside the room all the outlets are loose and they are using multi outlet adapters so that they can plug in more stuff. After the room has all the standard stuff plugged in there is only two outlets left in the whole room. The fridge does not work. The worst thing is that the shower tub is cracked! the shower drain is so slow that the waterline is constantly above the crack. This drains the water through the crack and it gets trapped under the tub. The calk around the tub is full of mold. There is no coffee in the room. You have to walk across the parking lot to the office to get coffee in the morning. They only have small cups so it is not practical to get coffee and go back to the room. They also have no place to sit in the lobby, so I stood there in my pajamas in the morning drinking my coffee.

This is a decent motel on a commercial strip in Astoria. The room was clean and it was generally quiet. I had an issue with my TV that was resolved relatively easily. Staff were available and helpful.

Not the cleanest place.I've stayed but not the works. The bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. So between the noise and the bed had a terrible night sleep. I went out for breakfast in the morning at 8am and when I came back at 915 my room door was wide open and maids had already stripped the room. I never told anyone I was checking out so I was not very happy.Front desk was no help when I reported it. Definitely felt violated and cheated. Ridiculous

Thin walls and hard noisy bed. The bed was very uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when you moved amd you could traffic drive by and people outside talking. I was even in a room furthest from the road and I could still hear the noise. I couldn't sleep on that bed maybe got 2 hours of sleep and decided just hit the road instead of waiting for check. If needed to be able to drive home that day and 2 days of sleep was not going to cut it of I stayed any longer. Would have been a nice day trip and to astoria and skip the room. I would have had a better night sleep that is for sure.

Knowing it’s a motel 6 our expectations were low. But gosh I haven’t slept on a less comfortable bed in a long time. A non smoking room with smoking receptacle right outside, which was just a bit gross. Also annoying that the TV had an ad play every 30 seconds and we tried real hard to get it to stop.

We reserved a room on the "1st" floor (for $136) as we can't climb stairs but they put us in the basement floor (drive down a steep driveway to the back of the building were the rooms on that side are accessible from the car, but are mostly on 3 sides under ground (below grade) (and with a very poor view). We upgraded (for an additional $22 - $158 total) to be in front on the regular street level, with a nice view out the back (of the water and bridge). Still for $158 the room was minimally furnished and needed repair. It had a refridge and microwave but no coffee maker (coffee only in office). There was no soft chair, just two hard wooden chairs, no desk, no carpet, just the bed and TV stand. The baseboard heater in the bathroom was badly rusted and unsightly, Too boot there was no Kleenex, no shampoo, or conditioner or lotion, no hairdryer, and the office said they do not provide such items at all. The view was actually very nice and we managed and slept OK but would never go back. It was not worth a third of the price in most smaller towns this size across the country - where such a room might go for even under $40.

We would never stay here again. The room was clean however the bed was horrible. It creaked when you sat on it or moved during the night. Clearly a very old mattress with a broken box spring. The very sparse furniture was so cheap just particle board. No pictures on walls. No hair dryer. On top of all that, the window was directly under a very bright light outside the door and the curtain did not keep the light out —We had to sleep with shirts over our eyes! Ultimately a horrible experience that cost us over $200. I wouldn’t have paid $89 for what we experienced.

The woman who checked me in (4/20/24 @ 2:45pm; she was just about to clock off for the day) was so helpful and very kind. She got us the room we wanted - facing toward the river - when I called. It’s a motel 6, so she didn’t have to go out of her way to accommodate us, but she did. She was incredibly helpful and great at her job. She should get a raise. Very helpful person. Thank you so much.

I arrived 12/23 in astoria Oregon. I was suppose to stay two nights that I paid for. I arrived in the room was dirty. I took pictures. My neighbors were above me partying until 3 am. I came as a nurses aid to help at the local hospital and needed to sleep between shifts. I called the front desk Hector told him about the noise and dirrty room. He said I had to stick it out there was nothing he could do that the company sucks and he can't move me rooms even though it was dirty and loud. So I ended up checking out 1.5 days early and got much better service next door at best western. I want a refund for my dirty room that I checked out of

Staff was unavailable for help. We were staying there after a wedding with a large group of folks. It was after midnight which is late but there was no staff available when some of our groups’ room keys wouldn’t work. Had to double up in some rooms which was really annoying.

We were in the back in a queen and had an amazing view of the bridge. Bed and bath clean--the place was quiet. A few transient people were walking through the area. We both noted the floor was not level, but it was not a big deal. We watched ships and the sunrise just outside of our room--the window was good; but it was more satisfying to watch from outside our door. Dinner at the Rogue brewery pub was great and a trip across the Colombia to Cape Disappointment was lovely. Astoria is a fantastic place to visit and not too shabby on a budget.
