One of the better by the freeway hotels. Friendly staff, clean, our room road noise wasn’t too bad where we were at. Breakfast is typical of these types of hotels: powdered eggs, waffle making machine, coffee…..could use more fruit though. But as I write this it is off season. Also typical small pool. The gym room, basically a closet where a treadmill, elliptical, and some dumbbells were crammed stunk badly. It had no ventilation. For exercise I I could only swim back and forth 80 times in the pool. Fortunately it was heated. Overall, I’d keep this place in mind visiting Lafayette.

Room was clean and perfect size for us. Some people talk about it being loud next to the highway but we were facing it and didn’t hear it at all. Tv was nice, beds were comfy - we enjoy a firm mattress. They have a nice pool area as well. Staff very friendly and parking was a dream! Definitely coming back here next time we are in town!

The breakfast was hot and good. The pool was smaller but heated. The rooms were clean and nice. Beds were way too soft for me and I got terrible back pain but that's a personal thing. Overall I would rate it good for travel. Not for lots of kids

We got to to the room and did an inspection of the sheets and there was hair on it. I went down twice and get clean sheets and they had hair on them also. We decided to flip the sheet over and get some sleep. At checkout I spoke to the manager and she said she had to bring up to upper management to see what can be done. I would not recommend this hotel as they have a problem with their washing machines to clean the sheets and who knows how many rooms have the same issues and people sleeping on them without knowing.

Initially given a room that smelled of smoke. Moved to a different room with a lot of highway noise. When folded bedding over to get into bed, there was a huge dead fly in bed. Specifically asked our room to be cleaned each day and it NEVER was cleaned our entire stay. The front desk even specifically asked us when we checked in if we would like housekeeping to clean our room so it was so odd that housekeeping never came to clean our room.

Desk is not staffed at checkin. Signage directs guests to call a number which rings without answer. I have been waiting for over 30 minutes, no answer and no one at the desk. I will never stay here again or at any other Comfort Inn. Absolutely unacceptable.

The room, beds and bathroom were all clean. All bathroom fixtures were in good condition and worked properly though water pressure was a little on the low side a few times, though normal most of the time. The room A/C did a decent job. The TV and remote all worked well. I didn’t take advantage of the breakfast or the vending machines. I did forget my keys on the first day and the front desk was staffed at 4am and they were able to quickly make me a new card key. All the staff that I talked to were friendly. The check-in process was slowed by an issue with the computer system, but otherwise fine. Check-out was hassle free.

We passed through on a family vacation. Checkin was quick. Room was good. Kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was decent. Checkout easy. Some furniture looks well used, but overall decent condition. The computers were down or moving very slowly when I was checking in. Teresa did a fantastic job of trying to work through it and had a positive attitude, even though it was clearly a frustrating situation. Even when the line started forming, she kept her cool and thought of different out-of-the-box ways to keep things moving along.

First complaint would be the safety. Twice during our stay we had to have an additional card key given to us. But we were never nice asked for ID. She simply handed over a room key. The fridge would not work, and the microwave was desperately needing a cleaning. The whole place was run down, but our beds were clean and comfy and breakfast was good!

The rooms were very clean and ambient tempersture was easily controllable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The desk staff were very friendly and the hot breakfast was good. Only two complaints, but they apply to almost any hotel: not enough towel hooks or racks in the bathroom and there is not enough lighting for reading if you happen to be on the wrong side of the bed.

Not a good stay. Service was customer oriented, Desk Attendants seemed to be pre occupied and did not provide good attentive service. Breakfast on Sunday was inadequate and very unsatisfactory. Not even an hour into thw service and no eggs, coffee ran out, and insufficient options for meal. There was a plastic bag over top of the fire extinguisher in our room, when mentioned to the GM, she brushed it off as customers smoking in the room and offered some inadequate redirection of responsibility. We are originally reserved for next Sunday also, but not sure we will maintain that reservation. Really a poor experience and unexpected disappointment for the cost. I expected much better from reputation and my history with the Comfort Inn.

I booked this hotel for the proximity to visiting family and for the pool. The hotel is not far from getting on the highway. But the pool was small and is not heated. So it was a bit chilly and got crowded with rude guests splashing around. The breakfast was good but the space to eat in is very small. So we had to take our food back to the hotel room. Otherwise, everything was clean and nice!
