I usually stay at the Best Western. About five months ago I stayed at this hotel in Hays, and the jacuzzi (hot-tub) wasn't working. Six months later is still not working... Can you advertise that on your website at least? I have another overnight stay tomorrow, and of course will skip this hotel...

The hotel was fine for a night but definitely not super clean, walls and doors were all filthy. The counter had trash on it. Lots of wear to furniture. The pool was warm though- hot tub broken. Breakfast was so packed in the morning.

Really disappointed in this hotel. Check in was ok. The hot tub was out of order and the pool was a bit cloudy. Not terrible but not great either. Our tub didn't drain so we each stood in water as we showered. I was going to tell them at check out but there was noone there, just a key drop. The specialty coffee machine in the breakfast area didn't work so I told the attendant about it and she said "it doesn't work, it's broken". So put a note on it! This was graduation weekend so rates were higher than normal but all in all it was not at all what I expected for what I paid.

The ground and room were wonderful but there was dog hair outside my door. They had not vacuumed the hallway. The pool was a good size but the whirlpool was broken. After a long days drive it sure feels good to relex.

We have stayed here many times in the past and have always been very satisfied but this time we were not. The Hot tub and pool was not working. The breakfast was horrible, the espresso machine was broken and they got rid of the yogurt machine they used to have and the sausage was burnt. The room also was not very clean, we found stains on the comforter and hair in the bathroom.

Wish I had taken advantage of the pool and hot tub. Next time I will remember To Bring my swimsuit! Great breakfast room too. My husband liked checking his email at your business center. Love that the hotel is so easily accessible to the interstate too.

The first room we were given was not cleaned from the previous guests. The second room had been “cleaned” but nothing had been wiped down or disinfected. There was only one person on staff for the entire hotel so we had to borrow cleaning supplies from the front desk to clean off hairs on the bathroom counter and greasy handprints with food all over the bathroom door. This property needs new cleaning staff. Would not stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel twice in a week. On my first day, the bedsheets were stained. On my return home I stayed there and the bedsheet on my mattress was inside out on the fitted sheet and there was a nice brown nugget in the toilet to walk me, I am pretty sure I will never stay at best Western plus hotels again

The hotel in general, and the rooms especially, were very dirty and in disrepair. My business partner and I reserved two rooms, and after checking in and taking our suitcases to our rooms, neither of us unpacked. His bed was broken. The floors were stained. There were holes in several walls. A light flickered. We left and checked into a different hotel.

The blackout shades would not close properly. The lights from the neon signs of other hotels were shining directly on me while I was trying to sleep. Finally got up, stood on the air conditioner, and draped my sweater over the gap which helped enough for me to be able to sleep. This is probably some thing a grandma over 70 should not be doing!

Clerk at check in very friendly. Super easy to get to off the freeway. Very nice place to stay. Bed was comfortable. Only issue was the curtains only close part way and the outside parking lot lights very bright...did make it easy to see when getting up to bathroom during the night! Hehe I can't comment on the food as we left without eating breakfast.

The beds were average but not comfortable. Doors would slam from rooms closing and echoed throughout the hallway. Floors were laminate not carpet and it gave the feel of a hospital room. The price was the same as other hotels in Hays but the comfort was not. Too many other choices in Hays for same price. I would not return to this hotel given the price and other options for lodging in Hays.

I liked the Best Western. The property was clean and looked fairly new. The staff was excellent and pleasant. The only downside to this property was the slow internet. If I didn't have to work during my staff, I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was over 1 hour late. No one was at front desk in AM. Person who was setting up breakfast and late stated no one had been at front desk for 2 hours. I then had to go and locate a breakfast option which was included in my room price and pay out of pocket using planned time.

Our room was great and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was good! The best part of our stay was the young lady at the front desk on the morning when we were checking out. Vanessa was a breath of fresh air and we could tell that she loves helping people, no matter the situation! I left my favorite earrings I've had for 20 years in my room, but didn't realize it until 2 days later when i got home. I called the hotel and Vanessa answered! She remembered me. She said they had the earrings and that she would mail them to me (at my cost)! I really appreciate the housekeeper and Vanessa for their integrity and helpfulness!! Thank you, ladies!!

Horrible checkin. We’re on a hectic book tour and arrived at 11:30pm at night exhausted from a full day of driving. Not the first Best Western we’ve stayed at. The checkin clerk was very rude and said she was just about to cancel our reservation because we didn’t answer the phone “all day” and they couldn’t charge our card. 1) they called ONCE at 10:36pm and 2) the whole point of paying at the property is that we ensure our card is used properly (have had double charges from BW before!) After a long drive and just stopping for the night the lengthy argument at checkin was extremely aggravating- horrible breakfast & old rooms.

We showed up to the hotel at 2:55pm because check in time is 3. We where told to come back in 20 to 30 minutes. We came back 40 minutes later and were told 5 minutes and are room would be ready. It was 4:25 when we asked they said they forgot about us and finally got checked in.

Beds were soft. Breakfast was cold and the creamers for coffee were old. It curdled in my coffee. Terrible!!!! The doors slammed shut down the hallways making sleeping hard to do. Everytime you left the room the doors slams closed The girl at the front desk was excellent at her job.

No decaf coffee, eggs resembled plastic, hash browns too salty. Oatmeal was good and I enjoyed the fresh tangerines. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and bed comfortable.
