Across reviews, Grand Millennium Dubai stands out for a convenient location near the metro and lively on-site nightlife, while recurring drawbacks include smoke odours in some areas and limited sun exposure at the pool.

Service is a strong point, with many citing attentive teams and smooth problem-solving, while a minority mention slow check-in, communication issues, booking mismatches, or billing frustrations. Rooms are often spacious and comfortable, but several reviews describe dated decor, occasional bathroom or AC problems, and in some cases road or lobby noise. Breakfast is generally varied and tasty, and multiple on-site restaurants are popular. Expect a comfortable, convenient stay with lively facilities and some trade-offs.

We spent a week in the hotel and we had an amazing time. The hotel staff is really kind and they are always ready to assist you. The location of the hotel is good, 9 minuets away walking from the nearest metro station. The hotel restaurants, bars, hotels and lounges are very cool. We really enjoyed the karaoke club and the Asian food restaurant in the hotel. The gym is great, you can work out while having a view of the Dubai skyline!

Very helpful staff. Welcoming, especially the Bellboy and pool staff. Good location, quiet, comfortable. Time in the jacuzzi is a must just for the views. Food choice and quality good. Decor in rooms a little dated. We had an issue with a leak in the bathroom which was attended to immediately. I was very impressed

Overall, it was a nice stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful always. There were a couple weird things. 1) The lobby always smelled like cigarettes mixed with fragrance. 2) After the mandatory valet would get my car, it was very tight to pull out of the hotel property.

I don’t know how and why this hotel is rated five star. My husband and I stayed 4 nights in this hotel for our anniversary and we had the worst experience. Upon arrival, check in took very long. The reception said the room is being “inspected” and hence it is taking long. We stepped into our room and noticed the AC wasn’t working, there was no working plug in the washroom AND the shower drain was clogged. The first 4 hours of our stay was wasted dealing with the hotel’s technician coming to our room trying to fix things. He put a long corded extension from the washroom into the room so we could use our blow dryer! The tubs in this hotel is so small that you can’t shower without having your arms touching the walls on the side. The tub itself was filthy as well and the shower was leaking. I’m not sure why our room took so long to get “inspected” and yet NOTHING was working properly. We spent so much money and I feel like we were ripped off. This was NOT a pleasant nor memorable experience for us and we would not go back to this hotel.

The hotel is fine. Not great. Not bad. While checking in, cigarette smoke from one of the bars on the ground floor permeated the lobby. Upon reaching out nonsmoking room on a nonsmoking floor, the smell of cigarettes was coming through the ventilation. The rooms were fine. A bit dated and the tile in the showers was in poor condition. If you want nightlife you don't have to leave the location. Nice places for this. It's convenient location to many other attractions. Staff was very friendly.

I couldn't travel to Dubai due to cancelation of all flights going to Dubai because of the sadly sever weather conditions (16th of April 2024). However, the hotel charged me the first night as no-show even that I sent them a message before check-in time in advance and my booking class was refundable. It was not expected from the hotel to take advantage of natural disasters.
