Check-in process was a breeze; but as I was unpacking in my room, the smoke alarms went off and we had to evacuate the building. This was a small inconvenience, but no big deal. My stay was nice. The social hour in the evenings was a nice bonus. The negatives of my stay...I was there Monday - Friday and my room wasn't refreshed the whole time. I was gone for work from 5:30 am until after 6 every evening...so I know there was plenty of opportunity for them to clean my room. The hot water took a good 10-15 minutes to warm up. I had to turn on the shower water as soon as I got up, go about my other business of brushing my teeth, etc. before the water even started warming up. Also, at 10:00 my last evening there, the smoke alarms went off again. I had to get out of bed to (for the 2nd time in 4 days) evacuate the building. This time we had to stand outside a little longer when all I wanted to do was go to bed so I could be up early the next morning. This was not a great end to the week.

I spent my day trying to find another hotel because seven minutes before check-in. I was contacted advising that their elevator was broken and the only rooms they had available were on the fourth floor. I asked when did you find this out? They claimed 20 minutes ago I have a 84-year-old mother that was traveling with me and you expect me to climb four flights of stairs with luggage and a elderly woman You contacted me seven minutes before check-in and we were parking in the parking lot

This hotel is disappointing overall. The room was dark and dingy, and filthy upon arrival. There were cobwebs everywhere and we literally walked in on two spiders mating under the framed wall art adjacent to the entrance. I did not have high hopes at that point. Our one year old was walking around barefoot right when we arrived, and the soles of her feet were black with grime. That’s when I went to the front desk and complained—they came and did an okay cleaning—the only service we received during our 5 night stay. They offered to shampoo the carpet but said they couldn’t because we were in the room. Maybe keep the rooms clean when they’re not occupied? Just saying. There’s just so much to complain about, so here’s a list: the shower barely ever got hot; the bedroom TV is falling off of the mount; the couch in the living area is nasty; the dishwasher wouldn’t open, and when we tried using it, it basically fell out of the cabinet; we booked here because we need a kitchen because of the toddler, but they do not provide sponges and expect you to use a towel—not cleaning my baby’s bottles with a nasty towel; and breakfast has no variety and was one of the weakest I’ve seen in comparison to similar hotels. There is a side door so you don’t have to lug your belongings all the way to the front door of the building, but the card reader was broken so guests were keeping the door open with a rock; worse, random groups hang out next to the door and drink.

My room was infested with cockroaches as well as three other types of bugs in the kitchen and bath. I had intended to stay for 10 nights but left after the second night once I saw the roach and was able to get a photo of it. I was too afraid to check the mattress for bed bugs. Upon early check out the front desk team member refused to give me any discounts and argued with me about checking out early. I spent 3 hours in the rain finding new accommodations. This hotel was probably nice several years ago. It was dated and run down.

Lobby and common areas were very clean and nice on exterior. The stairwell was filthy, we had to take it a few times when the elevator was down. The walls were obviously not cared for or cleaned in our room which made me feel uncomfortable during our stay and the room had a musty or humid smell. The service of the hotel staff was great though.

Our room was excellent. Having a bedroom separate from the living and kitchen was nice and having a sofa. bed. So our daughter could sleep on that way me and my wife, each had a bed to ourselves. Having a full side fridge with a ice maker inside was nice. So we didn't have to go find any down the hall. Breakfast was good , the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The property pictures on Expedia aren't the same as the actual property. We had several issues during our 14 night stay. The sofa was torn from the corner, upon informing the hotel staff nothing was done to compensate. The room was also missing frying pans and pots, something you expect ina hotel with a kitchen. Upon informing the staff, the pots and pans were provided. The cooker didn't work for part of the stay, it was also fixed the next day after informing the staff. All in all, too many things went wrong but most of all the pictures of the room weren't the same as the actual room. Please note that the one bedroom suites are very dated and dimly lit. On a positive note, the location is great, safe with lots of restaurants around, the attitude of the staff was pleasing, the breakfast is really good with eggs sausages, mixed fruits and various breads.

Excellent early check-in. Air conditioning was very loud whenever compressor kicked in. So it was hard to sleep. Sink faucet broken and old coffee maker. All in all ..dated with some problems but otherwise clean and comfortable.

Employee working the front desk seemed to be having a bad day. He talked to us with an attitude. When asked about the incidental fees he quoted us at $150 but the paperwork on the desk said $75 incidental fee. There were two prices for incidental fees and it was very confusing to the employee. The water in the bathtub came out brown with debris in it. We could not shower during our stay. I called down to the front desk and the employee said “they should have told you about that before checking you in.” He offered no accommodations for our problem.

I didn't get to stay in my room. They tried to charged my card twice out a hold on it and I wasn't allowed to book. It sucked me And my family had to sleep in the car. They called the cop and the cops were on my side. The cops tried everything to get me a room. The hotel was extremely rude and non understanding. I will never book with them again

I can’t even remember how many hotels I stayed at in my life. I traveled all over the world and stayed in all kind of hotels from one star to even 7 stars in Dubai. By far this was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had. Very rude on shift manager, I got letter under my door stating that I will be charged $250 fees for smoking. I had to wait the manager for over 3 hours to show up just to explain that my wife had breathing machine and can’t be around smoke. I even showed her the machine. I asked her to go ahead and check the room and tell me if she smell smoke. She came with two other staff members. Didn’t even go inside the room just stood by the door and spoke in foreign language that I wouldn’t understand and told me that I have to check out and can’t stay. Not to mention that I have stayed for 3 weeks already and never heard complaints. But all this issues rises when I refuse to extend my stay through them and I used Expedia instead. It was $300 cheaper per week. So I checked out and they charged me $250 twice and $225 pet fees which by the way it was illegal to do so. No where on the website says anything about pet fees. Horrible hotel and stay away if you can.

This property is about $53 away from Chicago ORD on Lyft, incl tip. It’s in a quiet corporate zone, but there are no nearby restaurants. Giordanos offers Italian food on delivery. Lasagna and salad were very satisfying after a frustrating flight cancellation.

My room had damaged walls, unsecured hardware, janky curtain tracks, poorly placed hvac, dirty dishes in the kitchenette cupboard, and sticky drink spills on the furniture. Outside of my room, the trash was overflowing on my floor most of the stay. The food was not good. 7-10 business days for a deposit refund is too much.

I was surprised that the happy hour was so goid. One night it was pulled pork, shredded chicken, nachos. Next night macaroni and cheese, cubed chicken, steamed broccoli. We didn't have to eat out for dinner. Of course there was wine, beer and soft drinks.

At check in we thought the property looked nice, we were sadly mistaken! The property had very little parking, which was taken up by mostly work vehicles and trailers. First night we asked for extra blankets and was told there may not be any available but they would check and let me know, that never happened. The property was noisy, and very dirty, stairwell carpet was disgusting!! Breakfast was a joke, the second morning there was no fruit, waffle batter dispenser was broken, juice machine not working. Other customers vaping in the “dining” area. The morning we were leaving the elevator wasn’t working. Whenever I went to the front desk for something the workers were sitting on their phones. If I could give this place a negative star I would. The accommodation ruined our weekend.

Dishes, utensils, coffee pot all dirty and required cleaning before use. The TV's offered in both rooms were drastically crooked and nearly ready to fall off.
