We stayed for two nights; they don't offer house keeping during your stay, so you have to go to the front desk if you want more towels, shampoo, etc. Breakfast was ok, not so may options but warm eggs and sausage was great. The website and this app are outdated though, as they said they had an exercise room but did not. Pool room was very humid, very chlorine smell, so much so it'll make your eyes burn. That being said, I'm not sure if their venting system is working, as the door frames and metal all around the pool was very corroded and rusted out. Room could use more cleaning as we found popcorn under the bed from previous occupants.

Everyone in our party experienced symptoms of Chlorine Gas Poisoning. The front desk seemed undisturbed to find out kids were coughing and throwing up. The symptoms stopped within 15 minutes of removing them from the area. Such a terrible situation.

Hotel was clean, hot tub was excellent but needs cleaning around the water line (tile is dirty), pool was great, excellent staff, breakfast was enjoyable, only complaint is the room we stayed in smelled musty like mold.

There was so much clorine in the pool it hurt to open your eyes in the pool room. The floor was gross and hair all over in the pool. Had to ask for towels twice. Place smelled like someone was smoking weed in the hallway. Took forever for someone to co.e help us at the front desk. Said to call on the phone yet there was no phone to call. The blow dryer was broken. Disapointed.

Kind man at front desk, pool/hot tub area seemed clean except for the bathroom. Our room had a dirty ice tray (not that big of deal) but the cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better. Shower/floor tiles looked like they have only ever been wiped down, I’d wear shoes.

Our experience was not good. We were supposed to be there for one night and did not even stay the night because of how uncomfortable it was. We came into the room and found dirty sheets, smelly towels, the room smelled of mildew, dust particles hanging from the ceiling, and the headboard being smeared with what looked like grease. The shower was not clean and neither was the shower curtain. We had asked for new sheets which we had got, but we were still uncomfortable staying in the conditions of our room. We will not be staying here again.

The staff were all extremely friendly and kind. The room and bed were comfortable and to the breakfast was adequate. The only issue was some mildew on the shower wall tiles and the shower head connector leaked everywhere while running. Other than that, a quiet and comfortable place to stay with a well-lit, safe parking lot if you're passing through

The 2 service desk workers working night shift and over night shift were great. As i was getting ready for bed i pulled down my bedding and it looked like someone had already slept in the bed and sheets had not bed changed. It was confirmed when i checked the pillows and there was hair all over them. Front desk employee was very nice and apologetic. In the morning i noticed none of the hotel toiletries were in my bathroom and went down to the get some. The owner/manager said "here u go". No apology or anything.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was always fresh and they kept the hot tray full. They had many varieties of food selections. Pool was spacious and perfect depth for kids. Hot tub was even better and kept at a perfect temperature. There was always someone at the desk and was very helpful with all our needs. Wifi is available and smart tv was available in our room for streaming access. We stayed 2 nights and they were the most comfortable and peaceful nights staying away from home. Very close to multiple attractions and shopping centers. We will definitely be returning in the future for our family trips!

Bad: Given wrong room at check-in then ask to provide proof of room reserved. TV not working properly. Light we parked under was out. Drop in plug to hot tub nearly impossible to get out. We would stay here again ,but not in the same room.

We booked what I thought was a king suite with a sofa bed for our mini vacation to Adventureland. We arrived in Des Moines an hour early and they let us check in early. However, the room was just a king bed, no sofa bed. The gentleman at the desk quickly helped us out and got us switched to a room with two queen beds. The room was clean, quiet and the AC worked great. Bed was comfy. Good value for the money. All the staff members I interacted with were accommodating and polite. The location is also great. Close to lots of restaurants and stores, and a 10 min countryside drive to Adventureland.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Seemed quite new and modern. Very clean. The king room was very nice. Spacious. Had a chair with a footstool for relaxing. Office chair too for the desk area. Sink was on the outside of the restroom.

Stayed for the Iowa State Fair with the family. The employees were always working hard and available if needed. We found the room clean, comfortable, and very accommodating for our needs. It was also a convenient location for all the things we did while in town.

Staff was not the nicest. 5 of us staying and were only allowed 3-4 towels at a time. To get more towels we had to take dirty towels to front desk to exchange for clean. One wash rag was used to clean up a chocolate ice cream accident, staff gave attitude because of this and said I could be charged because now they have to use bleach to wash. Due to staff attitude and rudeness I would not stay here again.

This was a great hotel. But the management could be better. Our Organization booked several rooms at this lication that weekend. One of our performers was in a very bad and horrific accident. It was on the news and in the paper. We posted videos and pictures of the victims. A head on collision and they would not refund for that room. So sad that a hotel that would not do this after a bad accident and took away from a nonprofit organization. The staff was great but the management and owners were horrible. We never ran into something like this before. Im just glad noone was killed but our performer was injured badly and after a week is still in the hospital and has a long recovery ahead. We will probably use another hotel for years to come due to this incident.

I was going to be arriving way later than my original time and was 6 hours after check in time. I tried to call the hotel probably 12 times to inform the staff of my late arrival and make sure I’d still have a room. They never answered the phone. When I got to the hotel to check in, there were 2 people working the front desk. No explanation as to why they couldn’t answer.

It was great, the check in/check out was easy and convenient! Staff was warm, friendly and professional. I’d definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay and affordable….don’t let me forget that part!!!!

Great property. Staff was helpful and friendly. Very convenient location to food and entertainment, and also great location to drive into Des Moines. My only complaint is the bathroom. The bathroom had no fan for ventilation which was very inconvenient. Great place to stay will stay here again

Not best experience, but not the worst. What I did not like the most was the breakfast. VERY little to choose from!!! Then, the warmers are turned down so low, the food was luke warm! The coffee was just one pump server and not even in the breakfast area! The sign in the room said if you were staying more than 1 night (we stayed 3) that the bed linens would only be changed every 3 days. But, they never even came into the room to clean or just make the bed!!!! Not at all impressed by this hotel!

The hotel stay was amazing and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room. The only downfall is that the breakfast options are the basic options at most hotels but it was still good. I would definitely stay here again.
