This was the perfect location for the day before a cruise. When we walked out in the morning, we saw our Cruise ship 0.9 miles down the road at the end of our street. Made navigating to the port incredibly easy! The beds were really comfortable and the water pressure is amazing! Would recommend A+

The property was very very cute. Within walking distance to Carnival cruise port & within walking distance to downtown. However the cottage was so very cold, with our party having to layer when going to bed. It would be great in the summer & fall but I would not recommend it for a winter rental! We did use the heater supplied, & that did help but we ended up wrapping ourselves in blankets and watching a full season of Brookline 99 on Netflix to keep warm.

The host let us check in a little early which was nice since we had a long drive but was very snippy when giving me instructions as to what time to check in after already telling me through messages, she acted like I didn’t understand. We booked this place because it was within walking distance of our event we were attending. However, I would NOT advise walking through this area. When confirming the location the host described the outside of the house as looking “beat-up” this area still has lots of houses that were affected by the hurricanes which was expected but it looked shabby on the outside. We had to park on the street which didn’t feel safe. To top our evening off there was a altercation close to the house that broke out into gunfire. My girlfriend hit the ground until the gunshots stopped. Several police officers arrived on scene in-front of the house. I took videos and pictures. The house was nice on the inside but the outside and the neighborhood was extremely rough!! Be careful! As a Vrbo host ourselves, I would definitely lower the nightly rate due to the area location. I gave the host an over all four star rating because the crime area is out of her control.

I booked this trip very last minute and I was very pleased with the house! A short distance from pleasure pier and restaurants. Cute cozy space. So glad it has a washer and dryer! Definitely will look to book one of these houses for my next visit to Galveston!

This cottage is perfect! It is nicely decorated and comfortable. Parking right outside is great, if I were in a hotel, I'd have to leave my room, walk through the lobby and then to my car which depending on hotel occupancy, could be quite the walk. Thanks for a memorable experience!

We love to stay here before our cruises. There is nothing like waking up in the morning, looking down the street and seeing your ship. The shower has amazing water pressure and the beds are comfortable. The owners are amazing and offer additional perks like foods/beverages available for purchase via Venmo. They also don't require a bunch of craziness at checkout...Just empty all the trashes. As a frequent traveler, this is VERY appreciated! I highly recommend!

This place is adorable. The host has not forgotten ANY detail. Prob the most well-thought amenities I’ve ever experienced, from the Bathroom, to the rooms, to the kitchen, and consumables!! Parking was right in front of the home, it was very clean, and host was extremely responsive. Excellent property!

We absolutely loved the cottage!! They had everything you would need and it was all easy to find. Loved having a washer/dryer after a couple days at the beach! Also, the decor was tasteful & beautiful! 😍 our teen & my husband all loved our stay! Thank you!

Property was close in proximity to the cruise ports, A&M, The Strand and and good food. Cute place. Close attention to detail and lovely beds. Cutely decorated. Water and pizza (for purchse) was lovely after a long, stressful day. The beds were very comfortable, the AC units kept all of the spaces very cool. The neighborhood was fairly quiet except the last night we stayed. There was a brawl outside the door on the street complete with probably 20 people, cars sideways in the street, lots of yelling and pushing. It was a little scary having traveled alone with my son.Host was very responsive and helful with any issues I had. I would stay again.

We live close to Galveston already but had a full weekend of things we wanted to do sonwe rented this cute little apt. Great location. Quiet (except some.kids across thebstreet just being kids. Thankfully it didnt last too long). Place was clean and fully stocked. Matresses could probably be replaced (didnt get any sleep). Proprty owners ask that if you break or damage soemthing to let them know. We ended up causing damage to some furniture. Let them know ASAP. They were easy to contact smd communicate with. Would stay here again

The host let us check in a little early which was nice since we had a long drive but was very snippy when giving me instructions as to what time to check in after already telling me through messages, she acted like I didn’t understand. We booked this place because it was within walking distance of our event we were attending. However, I would NOT advise walking through this area. When confirming the location the host described the outside of the house as looking “beat-up” this area still has lots of houses that were affected by the hurricanes which was expected but it looked shabby on the outside. We had to park on the street which didn’t feel safe. To top our evening off there was a altercation close to the house that broke out into gunfire. My girlfriend hit the ground until the gunshots stopped. Several police officers arrived on scene in-front of the house. I took videos and pictures. The house was nice on the inside but the outside and the neighborhood was extremely rough!! Be careful! As a Vrbo host ourselves, I would definitely lower the nightly rate due to the area location. I gave the host an over all four star rating because the crime area is out of her control.

I booked this trip very last minute and I was very pleased with the house! A short distance from pleasure pier and restaurants. Cute cozy space. So glad it has a washer and dryer! Definitely will look to book one of these houses for my next visit to Galveston!

Nice older house in rundown neighborhood. Extremely loud concert music down the street played for many hours, lots of loud racing cars coming and going, no peace . We were forced to leave had to leave early.

The neighborhood was fairly quiet except the last night we stayed. There was a brawl outside the door on the street complete with probably 20 people, cars sideways in the street, lots of yelling and pushing. It was a little scary having traveled alone with my son.Host was very responsive and helful with any issues I had. I would stay again.

The house was clean and exactly as described. You can hear the upstairs neighbors quite easily. And there were no Kleenex. The neighborhood is transitional and was a little sketchy at night. But other than that, everything was perfect.

We love to stay here before our cruises. There is nothing like waking up in the morning, looking down the street and seeing your ship. The shower has amazing water pressure and the beds are comfortable. The owners are amazing and offer additional perks like foods/beverages available for purchase via Venmo. They also don't require a bunch of craziness at checkout...Just empty all the trashes. As a frequent traveler, this is VERY appreciated! I highly recommend!

Great stay overall. Check-in was easy, and everything was exactly as described in the listing, so very little communication was needed. The area was quiet and conveniently located near the beach and several restaurants. The place was exactly as advertised. The property owner was very responsive to my messages. We had a very late checkin and they were more than accommodating. The A/C was very cold and was very nice. Loved how the place was decorated and they had things available for purchase which came in handy.
