The barclays hotel is extremely dated, and had band-aid type repairs all over our room. The shower wall had a large crack that was just epoxied over, and the ceiling above the shower was distressed and sagging. one of the electrical outlets looked burnt and had a cluster of extension cords running behind one of the tv’s. That tv was inoperative as well. The freezer portion of the refrigerator was almost totally iced over and in need of a complete defrost. The air vents/return vents were very dusty. There were also multiple portions of the wall paper that was peeling and coming off of the wall itself.

The room still had sand everywhere in the room when we checked in. The kitchen had literally no cups or plates lol. Honestly would not stay here again based off those things

You can do better than this place. Lobby smells. Rooms weren’t ready as they were delayed in cleaning. Our room had NOT been cleaned. Shower was full of hair and the floors were filthy. They did put clean sheets on bed and towels so there’s a plus. Look yall, I don’t require much but this place was absolutely disgusting. Pro: the restaurant was actually good and the location is perfect. Outside of that these ppl need new management.

Some issues with the carpet being wet. Toilet didn't flush properly. Maintenance responded quickly for the carpet, but front desk didn't seem worried about the smell that remained and didn't offer to change our room. Coffee maker in lobby was broken and coffee supplies in the room weren't great. We were able to do a pre-check in so we could get a parking pass to be able to park in lot to go to the beach.
