The pet friendly room was very clean and right next to a decent sized pet area outside.

Nice king bed and spacious room, very clean. Liked having a microwave, refrigerator, and Safeway grocery store just across the street. Very kind person at the front desk. Nice being able to park just outside our room.

Beautiful property near Columbia River Gorge. Small town atmosphere. Only issues ice machine did not work. No hangers in closet. Enjoyed our stay. Helpful information about nearby attractions.

Room was clean and comfortable; however, a bit on the smaller side. Parking right outside the room was very handy. Good location.

Very nice room, management was great to work with. A little late check in at 4pm but other than that a convenient spot in town. No pool or other amenities. But for a nice clean room in town it was good and budget friendly.

Friendly staff, spotless rooms.

Convenient location. Great staff, rooms are in decent shape. Our room had a huge deck (balcony) that was super private. Only issue we saw was the housekeeping had not cleaned the room properly. There were dead bugs in a couple of spots which looked pretty old.

The staff was very helpful as I was able to safely leave my suitcase in the lobby while I ran a race nearby. My room was extremely clean and inviting.

I like being able to park in front of my room. Outside wasn’t immaculate but nothing scary. Room looked nice when I entered but upon closer inspection there were a few things I really didn’t like. The desk chair was horrible. Really tore up. I used the luggage bench instead. Also I didn’t pay too much attention to the linens until I wet a wash cloth and it was so badly stained that it didn’t look clean. The others were no better. Overall it was an affordable option and I did feel safe.

Loud noises from upstairs spiders in bathroom

Dirty room. Hair everywhere. The fire alarm kept going off around midnight. The staff finally came and uninstalled it. The staff at the check in was extremely rude. Would not recommend.

Bath tub was disgusting. Dirt and hair in it. Plunger was nasty with human waste on it. Dusty dirty shelves. Cobwebs in corners, Stained sheets and unsafe outlets. For the money it was a very uncomfortable experience. Will never stay here again.

Nice and clean, spacious room. Couches not very comfortable but did the job. The mattresses were great, slept a full night both nights. The AC is very effective lol woke up shivering 😅 our room had a huge patio with chairs too which was great.

The WiFi was dire the farther the room was away from the lobby (my phone had 3.6 MBps down and 0.41 MBps up!), which was a challenge for my purposes. The shower pipes also made a very high pitched scream for a good 5 minutes (though the bath was wide and long and large), and the microwave was dead on arrival but they replaced it when I mentioned it. In all, about as expected for the price--large and with a helpful desk, drawers for storage, good size fridge and windows that opened away from the car park and to some shrubbery. Very comfy bed and pillows, quiet enough (except from late neighbor arrivals...).

Honestly, it was noisy but that’s par for the course. People like to get it on, and sometimes the walls/floors just aren’t enough to keep the pounding headboards from waking up the neighbors. It’s natural and nobody’s fault and everything else was great! Just bring some ear plugs.

This motel was decent for a short stay. It's not in a very picturesque or walkable area of town. The maintenance of the room left something to be desired. For instance, the shower diverter in the bathroom was broken so we were unable to take a shower, one of the towel hooks came off the wall, etc. The walls were thin and noise from outside and other rooms carried easily.

Hotels in great shape. There’s no specific view or anything we can talk about in that department. But fairly modern decent lighting. Seems fairly worth it for the price. Bed is comfortable. Somewhat strange that you have to use the key card to turn the lights on. Other than that suits our needs just fine.

Close to town. Very small bathroom. But clean and quiet.

The man at the front desk was rude and dismissive. He said to me he didn't care how I rated him on Orbitz. I've never encountered this attitude. All hotels usually care about what guests think. This was shocking enough for me to share. Otherwise the hotel and other staff were very good. I question whether I would stay here again.

I reserved a room For Saturday day night late at night on my way through when I was booking it should Saturday as the check in and showed the desk as a 24 hr desk, when I hit confirm the card was charged and the booking dates changed I assume do to an app issue and over booking at hotel, I went to the desk to resolve the issue at about midnight and there was no one there at the 24hr window, I tried calling tried contacting Expedia on the app but it kept closing out the chat before I received a reply, I slept in the car with an already bad back, in the morning I tried calling and showed up at the desk at 6:30-7am no one there no one answering calls and we were supposed to be going to our last destination before going home almost 150 miles away, tried again through Monday no luck on app or calling hotel tried changing WiFi and using data in different area Monday night I finally get the chat to go through and get to explain to someone what’s going on I do that they say the manager answered them and told me to call around 3 or 4pm the next day and they could do a refund, I call and before I can finish explaining why I called the manager starts yelling at me that they cant resolve the issue and it’s too late to do refund and on and on I tried to explain the issues I had with no one being there when we arrived both times and no one answering and they just yelled more to the point I was in tears and just hung up I have never dealt with such appalling behavior even with other 2 stars

Avoid this property. Management is inconsiderate if not outright ignorant. No common sense or understanding, enforcing policies for profit that clearly have no modern applicability. Definitely not on the side of the customer/guest. Avoid avoid avoid. Stay elsewhere.

Front desk was very friendly and accommodating to our late arrival. Great location!

The man at the front desk was extremely rude when I requested an extra towel as there were only two towels for a room that sleeps 4 people. The woman working the front counter was kind and professional. There was no body wash or shampoo in the room and only a tiny bar of soap provided so bring your own hygiene products. The room was very clean and it is a great value for the price. This is my second stay and I will stay here again.

We arrived early to the area and we were hoping to be able to drop our bags in our room a few hours early before the 4 PM check in. The woman at the desk told us no, they were still in the process of cleaning ALL the rooms. We thought it strange that we couldn't just check in and drop off our bags. We came back after 5 and our room was clean but worn in a few areas in the bathroom. Only decaf coffee packets in room but I walked back over to the office and the gentleman gave me regular coffee packets upon request. I didn't realize there was no creamer or sugar until the next morning. There was a loud noise outside our room much of the night, it sounded like a generator. We had stayed at this motel a few other times and it seemed quieter than this visit. Over all good for the price. We may check into staying somewhere else next time but not a deal breaker, so we may be back.

Wonderful folks at check in. I hadn't realized the property was 2 level and I told the lady in the office that I couldn't climb the stairs. She switched me from an upstairs room to the first floor. She also encouraged me to check during busy season, letting the staff know when I made reservations. The room is spotless, comfortable, and has plenty of 110v and connections for my phone, computer, etc.

The manager (or owner) and his wife were extremely kind and helpful when we needed to adjust our reservation. They were great communicators and helped me get everything situated to make check in as smooth as possible. I will continue to stay there anytime I’m in town!

Clean and comfortable place to stay in Hood River. Friendly staff were able to accommodate an early check-in, which was very much appreciated after a long car ride.

A really nice motel to stay at visiting Hood River. It isn’t really walking distance to downtown, but is across the street from a Safeway and other stores. There aren’t any frills, but it felt very up to date and clean, quiet and a great little room. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location, walkable and a Safeway grocery store across the street. Walmart a few blocks down. About a 15 minute walk to the heart of Hood River shops and restaurants. Safe neighborhood for walking. Friendly staff and very clean parking lot, no trash! Interior was a little dated, some repaired but still visible water damage in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Would stay again.

Loved this place for a 5 days stay! Great price, very clean, right across from the grocery store. If you prefer walking to the downtown area - it took about 25 minutes to get there. Great spots to eat nearby. Will stay there again!

Clean room. Comfortable beds. Friendly helpful check in. Quiet. About a mile or less down the road were lots of shops, places to eat. Mikes ice cream was yummy. Breakfast and coffee at Dog River Coffee was wonderful.

Very clean, good amenities (refrigerator, microwave, excellent TV set and service, coffee maker). Very reasonably priced for area. No breakfast, but Starbucks right across street in Safeway.

There is a grocery store right across the street and also plenty of food options close by. There are a few gas stations very close by and it is easy to access the main highway.
