Booked two nights to take our son to universal studios. Got in very late. Night clerk was very welcoming and checked us in pretty quickly. We booked a room with two queen beds. Nice modern touches. Great wood laminate flooring throughout. Lots of towels, shampoo and hangers as well as small ironing board and iron. Loved that they have a mini fridge and microwave in the rooms! The beds were comfy and bedding was clean. Room smelled nice and clean. Found a few hairs on the shower wall (not from us) also some mold on shower walls but out of reach so all the surfaces that we touched were clean. Parking was very tight. Hard to park but hey, it’s included with your room! Ten minutes away from City Walk. Walking distance to farmers boys for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean comfortable room with comfortable bed . Pool area nice and well kept . Good price for area . Bit scetchy area at night with a lot of homeless. Felt save enough to walk around through day . My husband is staying again in November.

The property was older but remodeled fairly well. There is no elevator and only one building has indoor secure room access. The area around the property is dirty with many homeless people.

Its an old property renovated to be a hotel. Very nice to have a room with 3 full beds, but the age is noticable. Cracks in the doorframes, creaks in the floor, things like that. The room was clean though, no stains. Parking was fine, maybe I'm dumb, but when it said free parking, I assumed it would be a big lot. Very limited parking, one car per room, which I think it should say that on the listing to avoid future guests from making my mistake. Luckily, all the gentlemen at the front desk were so kind about it and allowed a second car. If you don't have a car, one block north is Hollywood Blvd with a bus line that goes to the main portion of Hollywood junk and silverlake in the other direction. If you're not picky and need a place to sleep and keep your things, this is a fine place. But if you're picky about hotels, maybe another spot.

Friendly staff, great pool environment, free parking, located close to several LA exhibits and touristy attractions. Street may not be safe for walking especially at night. Not many places to eat without driving. But, if you can't afford an arm and a leg and want a nice pool with easy access to LA's best then this could be the place!

Our family enjoyed staying here as it was in an excellent location. Close to the grocery store (walking distance), with a pool, close to local activities, had a good washing machine and dryer, we received fresh towels every day (Thankyou so much) and it felt safe.

The front desk was very nice when I checked in, but the pictures that they have on their Internet Page don’t look like the room that I got. The shower had a mildew smell like wet the king size bed. I noticed a lot of hair on the sheets when I opened up the blanket the refrigerator wasn’t working as well, and the bed squeaked a lot. It would wake up my daughter, every time, one of us would turn over the pool was nice. That’s pretty much the only thing that was nice.

Found roach in room within the first 10 mins of being in room. Told the manager and he was very rude about it saying since i "used" the room already there was nothing he could do. No apology, no room change, nothing. Contacted Expedia for a refund and when they tried to contact him, he ignored the calls. Zero stars.

There was still hair in the shower from previous guests, main halls were wet from kids swimming and I slipped and fell and got hurt. There was almost never anyone at the window and they don't answer the phone to answer questions. A/C didn't work well. Rooms are advertised as sound proof but it was VERY noisy from other guests and road noise.

Disappointing from start to finish. No staff in the office on our arrival. We were worried there was no one to check us in. Someone showed up after 10 mins. AC was broken so we had to switch rooms. Second room, the phone was broken. There were bugs in the shower. The floor was so filthy my socks turned black after 10 minutes. Bedding was old and stained. Housekeeping dries bedding by hanging it over the fences around the pool. Unsightly. And not sanitized by the heat of a dryer. If I hadn’t pre-paid for four days I would have left after the first night. The pros: - The pool is nice. - The price is low, but not low enough for the condition of the hotel. Not a good value. I would have gladly paid more for a cleaner, more up to date room.

The room is extremely spacious, a pleasant suprise. The doors do not block out any noises, it is extremely noisy as you can hear (from my room) the noisy ventilating system & guests walking past, shouting, etc. The check in staff were helpful, and the bed was comfy. Fridge, iron, etc all included with the room too.

The sounds in the room were way to loud, I can hear every noise from the hotel and the hallway. Maid cleaning, people walking and talking. Unable to sleep after 7 am .

easy check in/out process. the room we were in had lots of water damage on the roof in the bathroom. we also saw two cockroaches during our three day stay. we requested maid service the second day we were there but they only switched out two of the three beds we had. they did restock our towels & change the trash. the wifi was also very weak. the parking lot gets very full during the night but they are very accommodating. it was an ok stay after all.

Room smelt like smoke. It did not feel very clean. The sound of the plumbing woke us up on our first night and made it hard to sleep. The AC was also very loud. However, check in and check out was very easy. It was great to have the place right near the metro B line and a bunch of other bus stops as it made transiting very convenient.

Asha at the front desk was friendly. Its affordable and the parking is free. There is a Target that is walking distance and places to eat nearby. The bed was comfortable. The rooms could use some TLC. For example, upgrade appliances, wall outlets, towel bar holder and grouting. Overall 7 out of 10.

I stayed at this property for two nights on a family trip with my 4 kids. Keep in mind that I was traveling as the only adult with 3 girls and my son. Check in , the gentleman at the front desk was super rude and nonchalant upon check in. Very rude. Then during the first night around 10PM , I heard water running. Like someone was showering , I checked the bathroom and the ceiling was leaking. Pouring . I have videos and pictures which I went to the front desk with and there was no help. No one that could help , no rooms available. The gentleman at the desk at that time was a little more empathetic but then wanted to send someone into the room late at night to look if possible to get someone and they would let me know. No one ever called. We had to sleep the first night with water pouring from the ceiling into the trash cans. Very disappointing. I also called Expedia that same night and they were even less helpful. They brushed me off and did not care one bit. Seriously disappointed and if I were you I would not book this hotel or with Expedia for that fact.

Checkout was 11:00. Around 8:30 went to office and requested a late checkout of 11:30 it was ok. Shortly after 11:00 the manager started pounding on the door insisting I vacate the room immediately. I told him I was given a late checkout and he continued screaming at me now in Hindi I closed the door and 2 minutes later the phone started ring. I picked it up and it was him screaming at me. A couple min later he was back pounding on the door. I tried to reason him but he continued screaming By this time there where at least 15 people by the pool who we’re witnessing this horrible scene. He then started insulting me in front of everyone saying he knew about me and I was a bad person. I had no idea what he was talking about. I slammed the door and quickly finished packing. Because of his tirade it was now almost 12:00. I packed the car and went back to the office and asked for my receipt and left. It was the most unprofessional scene I’ve ever seen.

Great location convenient to Hollywood Blvd. Check in was easy, staff were friendly and the room (while not the absolute cleanest) was spacious and had a microwave, fridge and in-room coffee which is rare for this level hotel. Just a couple blocks walk to Target, Ralph's, Walgreens/CVS and tons of food options including a late night taco truck and lots of Thai Town restaurants. Parking was good, although rather than driving I took the buses on Sunset and Hollywood to Silverlake and WeHo which saved the stress of LA traffic. This part of Hollywood is a bit seedy but this place felt like an oasis in the midst of it. Will definitely return.

The staff was okay but the rooms did not look like the pictures and they weren’t very clean I had found stains on the counter and someones pimple patch stuck on the counter. There were also little flies in the bathroom for some reason. It was a convenient location because Hollywood Blvd is down the street and not far from Universal Studios.

The hotel served it's purpose, was close to the walk of fame. But it was on the not so savory end, so walking around could be a risk after dark. The room was a bit damp and smelled of cleaning products, but after we cracked the window it was fine. Beds were comfortable enough, front desk was helpful when needed. Didn't use the pool but it appeared clean. Basic but worth the price.

Definitely a great deal! Don't judge this hotel by the looks of the outside or the area. Very nice rooms, upgraded. We had a double room , beds were very comfortable, great tv channels. The shower had great water pressure and very hot water. The only issue we had was that water had a wide spray but no big deal. Very close to lots of stores and restaurants. All within walking distance is a Walgreens, Target, Ralph's, Ross, Panda Express, Burger King, Pollo Campero and so much more.

The motel is easy to find and has adequate parking with CCTV. Property is well-kept. Chap at reception was organised & efficient, and I had no issues checking in. Twin room was a decent size, clean and equipped with full-size fridge, tv and ironing board. It also had a small coffee machine, but it only produced brownish water that I wouldn't recommend drinking. The area around the motel is a bit sketchy. There's a huge Target a block away, which I walked to; I felt alert if not particularly threatened. You may wish to drive as it has a large parking structure. The only dining option I saw was a taco truck on the corner, but the motel is only a short drive from the brighter parts of West Hollywood. I went to Pinks

The pictures made the hotel look so much better than it was. We were under the impression there would be a continental breakfast but there wasn’t. There were homeless people all over in the area begging for money and a drug deal that happened right across the street. The hotel room was so small that we couldn’t even put our suitcases anywhere without walk on them. There was a grocery store and target within walking distance which was nice. We stayed here due to the proximity of Hollywood Studios which was approximately a 10 min drive but I would rather pay more to stay in a hotel that I felt save in.

Pros: Location, Location, Location! Block from Hollywood Blvd, close to Grocery store, drug store and a target. Close drive to Universal Studios. Also room had a clean bed sheets. Nice pool on site and convenient free parking. Price was reasonable for the location. Cons: Room is very basic, property is old, no breakfast as advertised on Expedia. Floor was not clean and mattress under the clean sheets looked gross.
