At Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jacksonville Airport, travelers highlight the convenient airport location and value pricing, but note the budget nature of the stay, with small rooms and facilities showing wear and occasional maintenance or construction disruptions.

Staff are often friendly and accommodating, though several reviews cite slow or absent front-desk support and long waits for the outsourced shuttle. Cleanliness is mixed: many find rooms tidy, while others mention musty odors, damp carpets, pests, and dated furnishings. Breakfast ranges from early and plentiful to basic or unavailable during renovations, and in-room experiences vary with spotty Wi-Fi, thin walls, and weak water pressure. Do not stay here if you need shuttle service to or from the airport. I waited 50 minutes on the way in and when I was leaving at 4am for a 6am flight they couldn’t get the shuttle service to answer the phone. Plus if you even wanted a 4am shuttle they ask you to come down 20 minutes early and they will call them. Except they won’t guarantee a pickup time. No pre-booking. Uber service in the area was non-existent too, but I was lucky enough to get a Lyft. Phew. The front desk person was trying to help but there was nothing that he could do. Stay away.

Nice property. Extremely close to the airport and shopping and Restaurants. However, they need to have better food for breakfast and the building has some issues. The roof at the entrance was leaking and during our stay the only elevator in the building was out of order. On the brighter side, the staff was nice and the property is conveniently located.

Staff was courteous. Hotel and room were super clean! Great cleaning staff right now!! Room small, but enough for the purpose. Love the lighting options in the room. Lots of plugs. Nice bench above the AC. My only issue with the room: Soap and shampoo on the wall were useless: plenty of liquid- no soap. Bring your own soap and shampoo. Great variety of breakfast choices. Thank you for paper products (not styrofoam!). My only probable with breakfast were the rubbery, not-so-real eggs, but at least there were eggs. We stay here every time I fly out of Jax. We stay here for 1) super clean 2) great breakfast 3) free shuttle to Jax airport 4) cheap long-term parking 5 great price

If you want an inexpensive hotel to stay in before going on a cruise, then this is it. However, ice machine is on the ground floor and outside. That was a little bit of an inconvenience. The vending machines were not working for waters. The hotel staff was a very, very nice however. Room was OK, it was definitely what you pay for.

Run down. The lobby ceiling had a huge hole. We couldn’t get in the poo, due to how dirty it was. Unfortunately this was my only option for the night, so I made do.

The room smelled bad. The hotel shuttle took about an hour to finally pick us up. And the room wasn’t very clean. Was small and a little squishy and trim was peeling/scratched.

The beds are old. We had to sleep euther cross ways at the top of the bed or at the bottom because there are huge dips at the top. Oh and there were roaches. I was wondering why i was itching( I am allergic to roaches) so we looked and found roaches behind the microwave and roaches in the dressers. We took pictures.

The room smelled moldy, the security deposit was more than the cost of the room and I had to take pictures when I got in the room because the condition of the room was bad. Cracked side tables, water damage in the tables… I’d I could’ve refunded I would have and went somewhere else, the location is not good for walking to a meal. Found an unclean grainy stain the morning after that I didn’t pull the sheets back enough to even make. All around no. Desk Staff was nice.

Just needed a quick overnight place near JAX airport-arrived later than expected ~ 2am; called for shuttle which came quickly; driver merely told me the door was unlocked and I got myself and my luggage inside;a quick trip to the hotel which included a bump when the van rolled over a curb in the hotel parking lot. Front door locked (expected as it was late); checked in with no issue asking for an 11:15am wakeup call-watched as she called for the wakeup call and seemed like no problem however NO WAKEUP CALL came, just a call a few minutes after checkout time asking if I was checking out..No clock in room. Room however was clean and the bed was comfortable.

BEWARE!!! Disappointed!!!. I checked my bank statement. Found out I was charged $400 extra after I paid online with Expedia. My stay was awesome ! The place is nice. However, I just called to get the managers name. The young lady refused. She also tried to tell me that yes a mistake was made on their end. But, disputed the amount. It’s sad that I spent my hard earned money with this establishment that won’t even disclose the managers name . While there at the hotel I noticed that it appears to be family owned. BEWARE!!! Check your BANK statement if you stay there!! Someone is being real slick unfortunately!!! I’m filing fraudulent charges in the morning with my bank. Disappointed!!! Such a nice place . Poor customer service!!!

Property is not near other motels but it is the closest in proximity to the airport. It is dated but the room was clean. The main issue is that there is not enough parking spaces when hotel is full. When I asked the front desk clerk about their being no spaces she instructed me to park in front of a container that was in an end space. Others were instructed to park along the road leading to the hotel. I didn't feel very safe about that option.
