What guests think

Best Western Heritage Inn draws repeat stays for its convenient Concord location near restaurants and the Pavilion, friendly staff, and spacious rooms, but reviews also note an older property with uneven cleanliness, maintenance problems, noise, and occasional pests.

The property feels dated, with thin walls, creaky ceilings, and issues like faulty showers, unreliable hot water, or noisy AC that affect comfort. Breakfast feedback spans excellent to pared-back and repetitive; overall, expect a straightforward stay best suited to short visits.

Large rooms. Nice pool. However problems with tv and toilet. Call the front desk and they said a maintenance man would be there five minutes later. Waited over an hour and because we wanted to go to sleep we just told the front .desk to forget it.

Check in was great, the guy that checked me in was extremely helpful. The pool was enjoyable. Breakfast was really good. My stay was nice until I spotted a huge cockroach/field roach on the counter by the sink. It was over an inch long and with all the lights on in my room, it shouldn’t have ventured out of hiding but it did. I would have given a 4, maybe 5 star review if there hadn’t been such a big roach on the counter. Hard to recommend somewhere with roaches… I have it 3 stars because everything else was fine.

Our room smelled like throw up when we entered told the front desk and they could not offer us the same room we paid for so we decided to try and stick it out. The toilet was leaking and had a bunch of mold in the back of the toilet and in the corner of the tiles in bathroom. I went to step by the bed with my bare feet and stepped in vomit hence the smell of the room. Called the front desk and was immediately given a different room but not the one we paid for.

The shower wall was not fully attached to the wall. The door to the bathroom was about to fall off. The bed sheets, pillowcases, and pillows all had blood stains visible. The carpet on the floor in one area bubbled up and was a trip hazard.

Our hotel room was supposed to be a smoke free room, it smelt of mold and cigarettes. The mirrors were dirty, the light switches were disgusting with food and fingerprints on it. Same with the blow dryer. The bathroom had hair ties still in it and didn’t look to be cleaned. The carpet was absolutely disgusting couldn’t take my shoes off. The carpet felt sticky and wet it was foul. We didn’t stay because it was so gross we ended up checking out and driving home because we couldn’t stand it in there. Super disappointing spending almost 200$ on a room and then having to put a 100$ deposit down too. I’m extremely disappointed. I do not recommend this property.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When we arrived, the ceiling in our room was bubbling from water damage and actively leaking. The entire place reeked of mold. We immediately requested a refund but were told we had to wait until Monday to speak with the manager because no one else could authorize it. Since it was the weekend, we were stuck. We were offered another room, but it was somehow even worse—it had bed bugs. We didn’t end up staying at all because of how unsafe and unsanitary the entire property was. The rooms were filthy, clearly not mopped or cleaned, and the grounds were full of cockroaches, raccoons, and other pests. There were also signs of illicit activity on the premises, which added to the feeling of being completely unsafe. This place should be shut down. It’s a health and safety hazard. Save your money and stay somewhere else. This hotel is not fit for anyone.

The cooler must've had a leak because it smelled musty and the carpet was damp. There was three long dark hairs in the bathtub when we got there. Or hair is blonde. The showers are great but very noisy. People were swimming at 2am doing cannonballs and left cans and towels all over the pool area. The staff was very kind and the breakfast was very nice! Good Internet.

It was a great stay, but a few things went on. The shower wouldn't shut off all the way, so it dripped for most of our stay. Even though our room was cleaned when entering, the floor seemed to still be dirty as even agrer we all showered, the bottom of our feets got black from walking the carpeted flooring. Noisy guest upstairs was walking late during the night and the neighbor two doors down slammed the doors a few times. Pillows were flat, no head support. Bed was comfy, when asked for towels and room service, it was great, very friendly workers.

Property wasn't bad and worked for our purpose. I was a bit disappointed with the room key reader that created an inconvenience. We were told it would be fixed, but it seemed that there was little or no communication between staff members. We had to walk from the back of the building to the front to get someone to open the door for us. They should have just fixed it while we were away and provided us a key afterwards. Unfortunately, one staff said it will be fixed and gave us a key that didn't work, while the other said it wasn't fixed and we have to wait until the original staff member returned before it can be fixed. Luckily, we only stayed two nights. Not sure if we will stay there again after this experience.

The first room we got smelled heavily like weed and the shower and toilet didnt work. When i asked a new room for those reasons, the person at the front drst argued with me how I wasnt pulling hard enough on the shower. (I am a healthy 32 yr male, i can pull hard) we finally got a new room which was ok except that there was a large crack of visible light coming under the door as it wasnt sealed. The entire facility had a worn out, not taken care of feel.
