The room was dirty.the bathroom was tiny.the air conditioner kept leaking all over the floor so i had to keep it dry, the laundry room was closed no ice machine and was told to go to 7 eleven to get ice the elevator was to far from the room so my elderly mother in law had to take the 2 flights of stairs. The poat on hotel.com was lies.

We spent 5 days here and had to ask for clean towels every day at front desk. We put up the no maid service for the first day only and not for other days. Therefore no housekeeping was done for entire stay. We maintained the room ourselves. Language barrier with housekeeping staff. The pool was clean and nice. No place to shower at pool area before going into pool. No in room coffee pot. Had a nice microwave and fridge/ freezer. Location is great.

The room was not clean, floors in bathroom had hair, rust on everything. The walls were dirty the floor was so dirty it turned our feet black. Not to mention the ceiling had water leak stains and a big spot that needed to be redone.

Absolutely filthy room. Bed was made with dirty sheets that were stained and smelled disgusting. Gross lampshades covered in dust and broken. Bathroom had mildew. I didn’t even sleep here I left within 2 hours it was that bad. I’ve stayed at over 100 hotels and this without doubt was the worst condition hotel and room I have ever stayed in.

This place is a dump!!! Floors were sticky and dirty Bedding was stained and not white Towels were not white Freezer had something mixed with ice So gross Microwave is rusted inside Needs replaced Ceiling had multiple large stains Walls and doors filthy No way to lock bathroom window Anyone could have come in Electrical outlets stick out from wall Appear to be a problem Lamp shades had holes Room needs Major cleaning, painting and overall update Health department needs to inspect this hotel It is dirty and unsafe Unfortunately we had no choice but to stay that night Wyndham should be ashamed of this Travellodge

Lots of cigarette butts on walkways and stairs, no TV channel guide in room and front desk personel had no idea what channels were what, no drawers in room, no clothes hangers in room, musty smell in room, bed mattress was shaped like a bath tub. Overall it was an unpleasant place to stay.

Directly on a major road so it was often noisy. Loud man yelling from a balcony, with Sarasota sheriff’s deputies arriving, making me feel unsafe. No coffee maker in room. One of the beds was unusable as it made noise every time I moved. Next time I’d pay a little more for peace of mind and comfort.

at check in the front desk said I had booked a handicap room, I said I did not need , it must have been a mistake, he gave me a regular room with 1 king bed, no problem I thought, 1 hour later I get a voicemail from same guy asking if I still need handicap room, I go back to front desk and he tells me I'm being charged for both rooms and its up to me to straighten out the mess he made with Expedia, this hotel should not be listed on Expedia, they are dishonest crooks that try to rip you off.

AC unit leaking condensate water onto floor in room, creating a large puddle. Towels where dirty (used them for absorbing up puddle). Front desk personnel not really concerned, just wanted towels back. We decided not to stay due to conditions of room, staff indifference and generally felt unsafe. When we informed front desk that we would not be staying, she just asked for the key cardx and said that was it? Did not ask why or try to make it right. Not even an offer of a refund. This experience has put us off selecting this hotel brand.

Stay away from this location, horrible. The idiot running the front desk doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing. After several attempts (by that I mean 3 attempts) at getting a working room key we still couldn’t get into our room. After returning to the office the fourth time we just canceled our stay.

Be warned they will turn you away if you cant pay your deposit in CASH . I had reserved the room and luckily i had the $100 cash on me . I do not normally carry cash only cards . They need to advertise the fact they need cash for the deposit so people can be prepared. The refrigerator in our room didnt work . No ice bucket in the room . Overall very dissapointed . Expensive for the kind of place it is.

The property is run down and in a bad neighborhood with no security. The room had holes in the wall with paper stuffed in the hole on the floor. Two cockroaches killed in bathroom. No plug in sink, bedside lamp had no plug, door had to be jammed to get it locked

This area is close to a beautiful beach That is the only pro. Its filthy. Stains all over the walls, bugs, hair all in the shower, run down in general. They are also doing construction to half the building, and there were loose screws all over the parking lot. Stay away

Outside property could use a lil revamp but inside was good. Clean, neat, spacious n quiet. Lot of shopping n restaurants across the street. Was pleased. Very pleasant stay.
