Inn at the Beach-Venice FLORIDA

Staff are very helpful and professional. Very Quaint , Clean And quiet. AC blowing cool air during summer can be a challenge, and parking can be a challenge as well during peak days and weekends. 🙂. Walking distance to main historic main Street and the beach...oh yes the beach. But if.you ask me do i want to go back to the Inn again? yes we will. 🙂

The staff was AMAZING! We didnt realize that we could get there early and use their beach chairs and towels to walk across the street to the beach before we actually checked in. The pool was awesome and parking was so easy! I will be back!!!

Breakfast in the morning (continental). The bed was very comfortable. No problems with WI-FI. steps to the beach. Pool is nice but a little small, but I assume most people would be at the beach. there is a hot-tub too. I loved the hotel, the beach and the Venice area; close to shopping, great restaurants and quaint little stores.

This is a lovely inn right across the street from beach access. The rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. The breakfast was great, and there is a heated pool and hot tub on the property as well. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We could even borrow beach chairs and sand sifters to try and find shark teeth (no luck for us). Beach towels are provided as well. They really thought of so many details to make our stay perfect. The inn is located on a beautiful walkable street, too, and is near shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this inn and I hope to return sometime in the future.

We liked the location. It was directly across from the beach. They do offer beach gear for people who do not have any. There is a continental breakfast which was nice. We did get a room with two queen beds and a full kitchen. The pool area is really nice and private.

The property is a well maintained two story inn with no elevator. Staff in the front desk was in the willing to help with the luggage. Just to mention that the two double beds that appear in the room description are kind of small por 4 adults, they are actually FULL size beds instead of QUEEN beds; other than that the place is spotless and very convenient for its proximity to the beach.

Nice older hotel near the beach. Friendly staff and a great pool. The mattress in our room needed to be replaced.

My husband and I recently stayed in a King suite unit. I was very impressed as how fresh and clean it was from the lobby, general grounds and room. The room was flawless and completely spotless! Even the pool area is meticulously maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location- perfect. Easy walk to the beach and little downtown area. I’d stay here again in the future for sure!

Each unit is unique and a pleasure to experience. The property has a pool and hot tub, laundry room. A short walk to the beach without having to find parking. A nice park median in Venice Avenue for walks. Convenient to historic downtown Venice and major streets and highways.

Easy to find and in an excellent location. Our stay was short but very comfortable. The hot tub was a very comfortable temperature. Accessible parking. Next time we come to Venice we will surely stay at the Inn at the Beach again.

We have been here twice now and love the convenience to shopping, dining, and the beach. It could use a deep clean( Tile) and update, but still enjoyed our stay and will be back

We did not know what to expect. We found this property to be very well maintained...spotless grounds, lobby and room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Recently remodelled and furnished. Enjoyed proximity to beach and downtown restaurants. Will return.

It was great. My issue is that the room smells like mold. I was too tired to complain, and had only booked one night so I stayed anyway.

First of all, there was Matt at the reception, who was very nice and friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect for a beach vacation, just a very short walking distance from the beach. The hotel offers beach equipment such as towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. Perfect for those who are traveling from abroad, like us! The hotel itself is very unique and inviting. It reminded us of the good old days where parking right outside or in front of your room was common. Always a hotel to come back to. Our downer for us, was some hair we found on the pillows that decorated the bed and bathroom or dirt on the floor under the bed and a/c. Therefore only 3 stars for cleanliness! But that's surely something that can be solve for the future!.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was comfortable and the hotel is located so close to the beach and shopping, it's really convenient! The breakfast had a nice selection of pastries that were replenished regularly. Everyone in the office was also really nice. My only complaint is we had little flies all over the room which was annoying, but typical florida I guess. They were really bad in the bathroom and kitchen area so we just tried to kill as many as we could!

It was fine to have a place to sleep but I kept waking up to the sound of a mouse in the wall.

Adorable Inn!!! Right across the street from Venice Beach. Beach towels were provided. Beach chairs and sand sifters available at the front desk for use. Staff were super friendly. Room was adorable, with a full kitchen that was well stocked. Will absolutely stay again!!

My stay was great. It is an old Florida feel with wood shutters on the windows and a ceiling fan. The convenience to the beach was great. I didn't care for the hard beds, and pillows. Also, the A/C unit is loud, and you cannot hear the TV when the compressor is running. Aside from that everything was lovely. Location, Location, Location!! Very. very clean!!

Location was great, very close to Venice Beach as described. Breakfast was light, but an excellent variety, nice coffee machine. My rating was less than 5 stars because the window A/C was to noisy, and didn’t sleep well. Also, the sink drain smells, needs to be cleaned out.

I had a wonderful stay at the Inn on the Beach. My room had a private balcony that faced the beach. The area was nice and parking was just in front of my room. I enjoyed some live music in the beach area. It ended in a timely manner that evening. It was generally a quiet area (despite nearby road construction). The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. While the property is a little older, the rooms are clean and the decor is nice. I would recommend it.

Very uncomfortable bed, older renovation with a tiny shower surround that leaked water beneath the shower door. Highly overrated hotel!

loved the access to beach across the street liked the old school charm nearby shopping room perfectly clean didn’t like the room#210 as situated above office where sliding doors made it feel like above a bowling alley pin reset machine particularly at later hours

Great room facing the beach. Very quiet and convenient to town. It was great having a small kitchen in the room. Good breakfast as well.

The Inn and the Beach is clean and really well located. The rooms are small, furnished cheaply and the bathroom is small. The staff was lovely.

Service - fabulous! We arrived well before check in time and the room was still being readied, but Dee was gracious and provided us our parking pass, towels for the pool, and called as soon as the room was ready. We booked the King Studio which was great for our little staycation--having a full size fridge really helped with our leftovers from the fabulous Italian restaurants 1/2 mile east of the Inn. Location - superb - right across the entrance to Venice Beach, and 1/2 mile west of the small and quaint city center peppered with little shops and restaurants. We found ourselves there both nights of our visit. Amenities - well appointed unit and appreciate the following: travel size toiletries - (so many places have transitioned to larger bottles for reduced plastic waste, and I won't use them and am forced to bring my own). complimentary continental breakfast - made it very easy to pop over a few doors and grab a quick bite. water cooler to fill our reusable water bottles; in-room safe The only drawback, and this is not the Inn's fault, were the kids jumping and doing cannonballs in the pool. While there IS a pool there, it is very small, and when there is a family of 5-6 children running and playing in this small space, it makes for a frustrating and not peaceful experience. We will not go during spring break and will plan our spring training baseball trips in late February! But we DID avail ourselves of the spa late one evening and it was very quiet.

The location was amazing. The staff was so friendly, I got a free upgrade to a suite. Breakfast was free and delicious. They also had shark teeth sifters in the lobby. 10/10 would return

Wonderful staff and great room. Easy access to all the local beaches. They give you beach chairs, umbrellas and sifters for the beach at no additional cost. I highly recommend Inn at the Beach!

All staff was AMAZING!! Front desk and breakfast set up with all the fresh baked items from the local bakery was an awesome touch!

Staff was wonderfully helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the live music at the beach right across the street. Desk clerk recommended The Crows Nest, fantastic suggestion.

The manager and all the people there were just wonderful. Our room was very clean with a beautiful view of the beach. I would definitely recommend this place.

We came for the night to retrace old steps as we formerly lived in Venice and left a year ago to establish our family in Clearwater, where we are now parents to a one year old. We chose Inn at The Beach because of the quaintness, closeness to the beach, and the hot tub specifically, as it was in the 50’s prior to our overnight visit. When we tried the hot tub at a reasonable time, there were five or six young men in it. So be it; first come, first serve. In the hours until close, I intermittently checked back, and it was ultimately assumed by these young men until close at 11pm. At that time, they left, walked off of the property to cars in beach parking, and left. Yep, not guests. I was “pissed.” I first contacted VPD non-emergency, who apparently doesn’t have a manned line at night, and moved on to hotel security. The security guard initially ignored me, then divulging “no hablo Ingles.” It was a good thing I was able to ask for managements telephone number in Spanish, to which he would only respond “closed” while gesturing to the doorbell near the lobby door. Anyways, nobody came after ten minutes and we moved on. I contacted Tim in the morning, who I spoke to for a moment, but never got back to me after not being available when I went to the office upon checking out. It’s been three days, and I’m very surprised he still hasn’t reached out, so here’s an honest review.

Got out of town for the 3 of us to celebrate our birthdays and just enjoy family. The hotel was awesome everyone was very friendly 😀 will definitely go back

Convenient to both beach and town.

We had a great 2 night stay at Inn on the Beach. The property is very clean, everything is very cute and staff is very helpful and friendly. They also have the best crushed ice machine and free bottled water whenever you need it. Would highly recommend this gem!

Great beach location, clean & comfortable rooms & friendly staff. Plenty of close to room parking. 15 min walk or easy short drive to shops & restaurants.

Great location with easy access to the beach. Overlooks and nice green Town center which I feel very comfortable going for a morning run. Delicious breakfast to go.

Amazing hotel. Right across from the beach and walking distance to downtown. Very clean and spacious rooms with a full sized fridge and burners as well as a microwave. The bed was very comfortable and the water got hot quickly in the shower. Check in was quick and easy and there was ample parking. Highly recommend. Amazing price as well.

Small, quaint, well maintained property convenient to the beach. It is located in a residential area, so it is quiet. There are no restaurants or shopping within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the Inn at the Beach.

Perfect location, the inn is just across the street from the beach. Also walking distance to Main Street, restaurants and outdoor entertainment. The room was comfortable and the continental breakfast was good with several options.

Clean as soon as you enter reception,the lady on reception was helpful and knowledgeable on the surrounding area, including restaurants and things to do . Hotel is situated in a brilliant location right by ghe beach and a 15 minute walk to bars and restaurants

Cannot beat this location to Venice Beach

Great location across street from beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good with many options including cereal, yogurt, muffins and sweet rolls. breakfast area in lobby very cozy and cute. Room was large for a beach inn and very clean with a little sitting area outside the front door. Rooms 211 and 210 are blocked from the view of the park by a wall however. Ample free parking was a bonus.

Nice, family-oriented with friendly, accommodating staff. Continental breakfast with very fresh pastries, juice, fruit, milk and cereals. Coffee and tea available all day.

We have stayed here 3-4 times. Always fantastic. Literally across the street from Venice Beach. Easy to walk to so much. Breakfast is always fresh and delicious.

The local bakery is used for breakfast pastries at the Continental breakfast.

Very clean, comfortable beds. My room was on the second floor. No elevator, so I had to drag my suitcase up the stairs. The breakfast buffet was minimal with all bread items, donuts etc. wrapped in Saran Wrap, which I found weird. very close to beach and walkable to a great downtown shopping area. I would probably not stay there again.

Continental breakfast was yummy, coffee and tea all day!!! Hot tub was nice. Room was clean.

Last minute choice on an impromptu overnight! Rooms were clean and it was directly across the street from Venice Beach. Staff was great and the staff was awesome. Free breakfast from local bakery with fresh pastries!!!! Highly recommend!
