Clean room, comfortable bed, close to highway. Room was very humid and had a new paint smell.

The hotel was in a great location, had a good breakfast, comfortable bed, clean room, and a cheap price. What else can you ask for!

Our room was very clean, and staff was very friendly. It seems like there is a renovation in-progress, but that meant some amenities were missing - no juice in the breakfast bar, new vending machines not set-up yet, boxes piled up in the lobby area. The microwave in our room was non-functional so we used the one in the breakfast bar. There was a ceiling leak in the hallway one morning, which meant vacuums running at 7am outside our door. Subsequently there was a makeshift funnel/hose running through the outside door, leaving it unsecured for several days. The worst aspect was a dog barking in the room next door, sometimes in the middle of the night.

This Best Western is currently being renovated, and hence does not have all the bells and whistles that you might expect from a BW. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was not disruption from noise or dirt, but it did not have the feel of a top rated motel that I consider BW. For example: breakfast was VERY simple-no waffles or pancakes, no teas, no orange juice-the machine was out of order. Coffee was good. The fitness room was set up, but not really finished. Room numbers were not finished. They were written on a piece of tape on the wall outside your room. I couldn't find drinking water anywhere except out of the faucets. There was not a soda machine that I could find. The ice machines were available and working. Another interesting thing, when you went to turn on the bathroom light, there was a 3 switch plate..(that's fine) The first one turned on the fan (interesting). The middle one turned on the light. The 3rd one didn't seem to be connected to anything. It didn't really affect our stay, but it was initially confusing. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly., though we did not have much contact with them. Well, the guy maintaining the breakfast area seemed pretty disinterested in us. The cost was ok...higher than Motel 6 and Super 8, but lower than Holiday Inn. So whether this is where you want to stay here might depend on your expectations and what you want and need.It served our purpose well for a quick overnight stay.

We were a nervous at first because the outside of the property looked a little rough and they were going through a lot of renovations inside, but our rooms were very nicely done! Staff were also very helpful and the breakfast available was convenient!
