Extended Stay America Suites - Philadelphia - Mt Laurel - Pacilli Place

Smoking smell in our room. Hallway reeked of stale food. Staff hard to locate.

No rest rooms in check in area, no real lobby, no real breakfast Otherwise okay

Excellent location and parking.

This place really needs refurbishing. The carpet in my suite was in a terrible state, with holes in some places, and all the furniture was very tired and scuffed. The property details say that there is a hairdryer provided and there is not - I asked at the front desk if I could have one, and they said they didn’t provide hairdryers any more. Staff were pleasant enough. The laundry facilities worked well. Breakfast didn’t appeal to me. I had to report a screaming row that went on in a nearby room. It just added to the feeling that this place was a bit rough. I slept ok though. I wouldn’t recommend this place and I won’t be booking with Extended Stay America again as I think that accommodation should be refurbished before it gets to such a state.

Its perfect if you just need some shut eye. The free breakfast is really just oatmeal and granola bars and coffee. The staff was nice but the rooms definitely need some work in them. Paint is chipping, furniture needs to be updated' exercise room consists of 3 for those who need it.machines but onsite laundry was a plus.

The refrigerator had rusty exterior and the room had a musty smell; outdated decor and trash cans in stairwells and end of halls were over flowing in the evening but were emptied in the morning.

My room looked nothing like the pictures. The carpet was old and musty. The kitchen came with nothing, not even a fork. I had to request a plate and fork and give my room number to receive the items. No daily cleaning service. Cleaning only comes around every 14 days. Have to empty your own trash, no clean towels daily. People actually live in this hotel. Laundry room was expensive and tiny. Had to dry my clothes for 2 cycles. Would have loved to be able to have at least fresh towels daily but no such luck. Microwave was dirty from previous occupant of my room. Requested first floor, got 3rd floor. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable and pillows weren't much better. Breakfast was a pre-wrapped small muffin or a granola bar. Nothing else. All in all, it was fine for a budget hotel but I have switched to a different hotel for the rest of my trip and I am much more comfortable.

It was a decent hotel for the price. Unfortunately my room was right across from the elevator so we constantly heard people walking by, talking, and the elevator ding. One of the mattresses in my room was broken and I had my babies sleeping in that one. When I say broken I mean it was complete slanted and at a downslope to the headboard. I tried using the blow dryer on my last day there and it was matted in dust, started popping at me and smoking so obviously I did not continue to use it. Flooring in the bathroom was off too, looked like water seeped under the flooring which caused moldy soggy and uneven sub-flooring in there. On the bright side the staff was extremely friendly and attentive so I can’t complain there, room just kinda sucked for being a hotel. The hotel was close to a lot of things though such as restaurants and not too bad of a drive to Philly or NY. Parking was easy as well and it felt like a nice area for the most part. The outlets are close by as well as a nice mall.

A little outdated, thin walls, but comfy, clean, and decently priced. I had a great night's sleep and felt safe parking my motorcycle overnight.

Heat not working , lobby entrance closed at night.

There was roaches in our room but luckily we got another room after showing them we had them in our room 323 I will not be staying here again and want my money back was not clean at all

Hotel is dated and bathroom was not clean.

Only room left when I got there and it was from from the best. Mold on carpet. Sheets weren't cleaned. Bathroom toilet was leaking. Bathtub was backed up.

My stay was ok. It could have been better if the room was clean. The refrigerator in the room was disgusting. So that’s why I scored low on cleanliness

My stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! I was here for about 2–3 weeks and every day I was met with kindness, cleanliness, and outstanding service. The staff is truly what makes this place special. Melba was always so sweet and welcoming — her smile and positive attitude brightened my mornings. Adrienne, the manager, runs a fantastic team. She even reached out personally to make sure everything was going well, which shows just how much they care about their guests. From the fresh-smelling hallways to the well-kept rooms, everything was consistently spotless. I also had a great experience connecting with other guests during my stay — it felt like a little community. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for comfort, care, and a staff that genuinely goes above and beyond. Would absolutely return!

It smelled as you soon you walked in. Random people who lived there that seemed unwell who creepily talked to us. The room smelled. The fridge was rusted and not cold. There were oil stains on the cabinets. No dishware but we had a kitchen. We couldn’t get new towels unless we waited for our old towels to be washed. Didn’t have a stock of toilet paper and had to get more. Dirty. Gross. Would never recommend.

Our initial room had 3 roaches walking on the kitchen counter. We then were given the room across the hall. That room had a very pungent smell which was a mix of bleach, fabuloso, weed and a basement. And Everytime we left and came back, the smell seemed to get worse. The oven cut off as it was cooking our frozen pizza. So that was wasted. And at night in the parking lot, it's crawling with shady people and I've witnessed drug dealing and prostitutes looking for Johns. Overall, it was the worst motel we've ever been in. Staff was very friendly though.

The place was clean and spacious. The couch had big holes and was torn. There hasn't a mirror in the bathroom, it had been broken and they hadn't replaced it yet, so no mirror for my husband to shave.

I booked a double bed for this location on Expedia but when I checked in there was none available. So I had no choice but to take the one bed with a pull out couch. Not only was the pullout couch uncomfortable but felt like I was laying on just metal. And the tv was going in and out the entire day. Melba at the front desk switched the tv out once but never showed back up when I called again about it going back out. By then I just wanted a refund and to switch to the Cherryhill location. Expedia had no problem refunding me but I was told Melba at front desk would have to approve it. Well she not only refused to accommodate me because of all the room issues, but flat out told me she couldn’t do anything to help me because then someone would have to be inconvenienced in cleaning my room again. What a joke. I will NEVER stay at this location, “ The Pacilli” building in Mt. Laurel. I was highly disappointed. Melba at from desk did NOTHING to try and help me. Terrible customer service. I got much better customer service at the “Comfort” building Extended stay in my past experience.

Shower tub drainage is slow. When taking a shower, you will be standing in a 2 inches of water when you are done showering. Hair dryer is room is not working and hotel doesn’t have extra to lend out.

It was good. The bed was comfy. I love the full kitchen. The window curtains could be changed but they're not terrible. The sofa bed was a little hard , but my daughter slept on it. Staff was nice so no major complaints.

I had booked the stay 30 mins before I showed up for a room of two beds. My card was charged immediately upon booking once I arrived she couldn’t find reservation but I understand sometimes things don’t show up immediately. The thing that bother me the most was that I had booked for two beds and all they had was one full size bed. The bed was so uncomfortable.

Spacious clean legit. It’s nice enough you’ll enjoy your stay just pick up some essentials before you go soap no good but overall not bad

I tried using the blow dryer on my last day there and it was matted in dust, started popping at me and smoking so obviously I did not continue to use it. Flooring in the bathroom was off too, looked like water seeped under the flooring which caused moldy soggy and uneven sub-flooring in there. On the bright side the staff was extremely friendly and attentive so I can’t complain there, room just kinda sucked for being a hotel. The hotel was close to a lot of things though such as restaurants and not too bad of a drive to Philly or NY. Parking was easy as well and it felt like a nice area for the most part. The outlets are close by as well as a nice mall.

Did not have the accommodations I paid for and refused to give me assistance. First time I’ve ever had an issue at an extended stay brand.

Was just looking for a quiet place to rest after a longday of testing@ Cooper Hospital which is a few hrs away frm me.This place was very nice,clean & the lady at the desk for check in (&out) Linda was so nice.She went above and beyond to help me(more than she realized). I will definitely be back when i have more hospital testing, procedures or visiting my Brother up there. I admit i was hesitant to try this place with the reviews but, i am so glad i decided to just rest my head somewhere...found a hidden little gem. If you dont need all the bells and whistles (even though, they do have them and ask if you do need them)...this is a great place. Thank you again Linda :) .

Melba at check in was amazing.. She had patience with me after finding out about the incidental deposit that was not shown on the 3rd party website!! After a long day driving I had to pay it as the room was paid for and it was late. But again Melba understood my frustrations and calmed me down and that’s how service should be

I had a wonderful extended stay at this hotel and truly felt at home. Every staff member I encountered was kind, professional, and welcoming. A special shoutout to Melba — she is so sweet and always had a warm smile that made my day. Adrienne, the manager, deserves major credit for leading such an amazing team. She made sure I was enjoying my stay and followed up personally, which speaks volumes about her leadership and the care they put into guest experiences. From the fresh, clean hallways to the helpful front desk staff, everything was top-tier. I highly recommend this hotel — 10/10!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. It is not a smoke free facility. Room 306 was filled with cigarette smoke residue. When i walked in, it was so bad, I could taste it. The carpet and furniture were filled with cigarette burns. The bedding and curtains were dirty. The front desk clerk was rude and told me there was nothing she could do about it because it is a smoke free facility. I have asthma and cannot be near cigarette smoke or residue. I stayed in room for a 1/2 hour, had an asthma attack and left. My clothes wreaked of cigarette smoke.

We were attending a wedding and likely were not going to make our check in time. One of the staff members, Priscilla, went out of her way to take care of us and make sure we got checked in. We felt great and were able to relax at the wedding knowing Priscilla took care of it, and when we showed up after hours we were all set with no issues. THANK YOU SO MUCH PRISCILLA!!!

Very unorganized at front desk. When I walked in people were arguing. Staff was not professional enough for these prices. Room was outdated with old furnishings

Very unpleasant experience. Reached the property after 3pm. The hotel front desk told me to wait for the room to be cleaned up and it took them 30 minutes to get ready. The front desk folks weren't nice and no apologies for being late to give me the room. The rooms lights were so dim and looked so dark. We were planning to stay overnight and leave next day morning but it didn't feel good, so we checked out same day around 6:30pm. I wouldn't go to this place again.

The hotel itself was not bad. However, the staff at the front desk are NASTY! I would NEVER stay in another extended stay due to the attitude and rudeness of the staff at this hotel!

Excellent location and parking.

I did a reservation with two beds and the room only had one bed. The room and hallways smelled like cigarettes/mariguana and it looked very dirty. The room was dirty Bathroom was nasty The curtains were dirty No proper lighting in the public areas. Nothing of what was advertised on the website was in the room. The parking lot had abandoned cars. The property had guest/homeless people by their cars. Guest bring in things through the windows of the first floor. This location feels very unsafe.

Very nice area means a lot to me. Friendly staff and the proximity to everything. I will definitely visit again

A true surprise was Cracker Barrel right next door. Perfect for breakfast lunch or dinner

Reasonably priced. Very conveniently located near Philadelphia, Camden, and NJ Turnpike. A decent alternative when visiting TEMPLE U.

Smelled and looked clean, bed was not very comfortable but worked for the one night. Staff was helpful, professional. Breakfast (nutri grain bars) was insufficient and sadly was stale but the coffee was good. Would stay here again

Everything was great except breakfast.

The hallways and rooms had a bad smell. Gatbage on hallways. Kitchen is room had nothing! No soap/shampoo in the bathroom. Breakfast wasn't really Breakfast just granola bars available.

Breakfast was really just coffee and a muffin/bar. When we called we were told continental breakfast. Room had no carpet so didn’t feel good to walk on a cold surface. No water fountain to even fill water bottles. Had to purchase and the door wouldn’t open with key card. Mattress was probably old as it sagged a lot. No proper blanket. I see others also had that issue. We were so tired just slept with the sheets on the bed. Otherwise clean but just very basic.

My room was dirty. They charged a damage fee to my credit card that was my first indication it wasn't a good choice. Dogs barking all night long. I looked out of my window in the morning and two people were sleeping in their car in the parking lot. The free breakfast was either wrapped muffins or Nutri gran bars. Caffeinated coffee and tea only, no decaf. Overall, an awful experience. People at the front desk were acceptable.
