I asked to check in early (1:30 rather than 3:00) & was told I could not. That was fine but then I asked if I could use the restroom. I was told “no”, we don’t have a public restroom. I was shocked as they offer a continental breakfast right there in the lobby. I said, “you don’t have a restroom for guests that come for breakfast?”. “No”. Not a sorry or anything, just no. We left & later checked in. The room was pretty clean but very run down & old. Coffee is beyond sub par but that in the lobby was really good. I went to fill the ice bucket & the machine was off. When I asked about it at the front desk I was told that it had been doing that. The gentleman was very nice & apologetic. Some painting & other repairs were going on at the hotel. That was fine but the workers had music blaring & hollering back & forth. I understand they need to start early but this extra noise at 8:00 am was a bit much. .

Almost no toilet paper in room upon check-in (about 1/4” on one-roll) That’s a HUGE inconvenience. Also, dirt and urine build-up on outside of toilet bowl was visible. 3 signs for Ice-machine/Vending locations led to locked-doors. Front desk then directed me to go to the laundry-room where the ice-machine was located. That door was locked too, and although my room key turned the lock green, the door didn’t open. So, ice was not available to me at all.

The smell of the cleaning agent used caused me to have a migraine. The Wi-Fi was intermittent. The floor in our room did not seem to be very clean. The desk clerk was very helpful. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and tasty. Parking was easy and plentiful. We would come back.

We did not stay there! We had arrived early and knew check in was at 3:00. But the receptionist said “ I’m not checking anyone now. We totally understand the policy. Just wanted to get a recommendation for a coffee shop, and sites…well. That was the icing…and when we asked to please use the restroom, she took us to behind the desk to a restroom. Apparently the hotel does not have a guest bathroom. We got the feeling we were unconvincing her. That was the cherry! Needless to say, definitely not recommending stay there!

The hotel is on a busy street so I thought it would be loud. It was quiet, the other patrons were respectful. It was wonderful. We were able to take our 2 large dogs with us. Always a plus. The room was clean. Most of all the staff was friendly.

Best part was probably the breakfast. Lots of choices. Other guests took all of the bananas, though - ha! It is an old style park at the door motel. Has been somewhat refurbished. Just don't have high expectations and you will be ok.

Shower was very hard to use, had to ask staff how to use it! Coffee maker didn’t work, towels were very thin, bathroom ceiling had mold on it! Left after one day was supposed to stay one more day but wasn’t about to fight with the shower handle. Stayed there because ratings on your site said it was great!

Ridiculous shower handles! We thought the shower water was off? Come to find you had to pull out the handle first? Like really really hard? The front desk said it was their number one complaint. They should advise people on how to turn on the shower! Will never go back!

If I were to stay in the area again I would avoid this Best Western. I checked in around 6AM and informed the front desk staff that I had been driving all night and just needed to stay until about 3PM when my checkin time would have actually been. I didn’t care that I was paying full price for only a 9 hours stay but this guy charges me an extra $50 because I am checking in before 3PM. This is ridiculous!!! Everything else of the hotel was minimally adequate!!! The fridge in my room was broken as it was unplugged and had towels and stuff around it. They had a person serving their complimentary breakfast and she was very nice but she was serving the hot foods like some kind of portion control. They had to change my rooms because the first one they assigned me had a faulty fire alarm. I would avoid this hotel at all costs!!! The prior night I had stayed at a Best Western where I was not charged an early checkin fee, all their amenities were nice and you could serve yourself all the breakfast you would like. Again, love Best Western just this one seems outdated and focused on what they can charge you and not the services they provide!!!

We've stayed at many BW's over the past several dozen years, all over the US; this was the worst. Construction in the parking lot 8 ft. from our door that we hadn't been told about. Stains on carpet, ripped curtains, frayed lampshade, loud AC. Unfriendly front desk staff. If we could've found another place nearby we would've gladly left.

The staff couldn't have been nicer! Friendly, efficient and welcoming. Complementary breakfast was excellent and more than I expected-hot bacon, potatoes, waffles and eggs with all the extras! The room interiors were clean, a bit dated and had a definite mildew smell, possibly from the rains the previous night.

The check in was friendly and breakfast was good, room was clean. The down side, the fan in the bathroom sounded like Mac Truck…..Loud & I mean Loud. The aircon unit is twenty years out of date and also made so much noise….. come on America you need to up date to new technology….. Great location and wonderful Chinese restaurant called the Lotus Garden up the street.

The shower in the next room was SO loud. Bed was comfortable. The biggest disappointment was breakfast. We arrived at 7:30. No bacon, it arrived at 8 and it was all clumped up and fried to a crispy mess. The girl working didn’t care much for her job. It’s set up so we’re all bumping into each other, there was no flow. There’s no point in booking rooms with “free breakfasts”, just not worth the frustration and lack of quality.

This property seems to be in decline. It's not terrible, but rooms don't smell fresh. AC is marginal. Breakfast is free, but very limited in choices and not especially tasty--kind of a generic scrambled eggs, greasy undrained bacon, and cereal approach. We've been there twice in the past month. Will stay somewhere else next time.

I actually thought it was okay, but not spectacular. I didn't realize until I arrived that this BW has room entry from exterior doors, which I usually don't care for, just for security and noise purposes. The breakfast is served to you, you don't pick up your own choices, but you CAN ask for what you want, sort of cafeteria style. Most staff was nice enough although one person seemed a bit put off that you were asking them for anything, like they didn't want to be there. All-in-all, an acceptable stay for two days, noise not too bad, and it seems like a safe enough area. This coming from someone who prefers hotel stays with hallways and interior room entry.
