They are so friendly and it’s a very clean and comfortable hotel. There is a cvs right next door which was very convenient. They also provide chairs and beach towels for the beach. They also have bikes you can use for free.

It is overall a great hotel. Staffs are extremely friendly, location i great also being right across the beach. It’s closer to the end of the strip so you don’t hear loud noises or cars at night. The only thing to note is the gym is very very basic and small, it’s good for some cardio but not very lift friendly.

The hotel has a perfect location, the restaurant they have is good too. What I didn’t like is a poor sound isolation, I could hear everything and everyone near my room, also there was a noise of part of the building or something. Maybe because the building it’s is old. The worst thing was that extra fee they charge as a resort fee ($20 or so per night). I was charged additionally to my total payment when I got there.

There is no parking available for the property and it was impossible to find anything close by to park overnight. The building was run down. Construction in the middle of the lobby and the carpets were disgusting, looked like they weren't vacuumed in weeks. Rooms are very basic, scuffs all on the walls. My room specifically had no view as it just looked at a white brick wall. Only positives were that it was walking distance to the beach and downtown Miami, the air conditioning worked well and the staff were very kind. The photos made the hotel appear a lot nicer than what it really was. It was overpriced in my opinion.

Elevator was down but the staff was on it with carrying our luggage up the stairs. They offered beach towels and chairs for free which was super handy and nice! Location was perfectttttt I would stay here again

Great location, friendly staff. Parking was a little inconvenient, we arrived in town late and valet was unavailable. However the the garage was safe and an easy walk, about a block.

Hotel is in a great location. They have beach chairs and towels readily available at no extra cost. Right across from the beach. Only complaint is the elevator is broken and walking up 4 flights of stairs was not that fun, especially in heels. Other than that my stay was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would come back again!

We had a long layover and decided to book this hotel for a one night stay. Great location but the hotel lacks cleaning. It smells upon entering the property. The rooms don't smell clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were dirty smelled bad nothing like the pictures we were suppose to get a room with a view when we got there they gave us a handicap room bed sheets had hair from previous guests flies all over the room dust everywhere and was charged an extra $45 fee at the hotel don’t know for what please do not book this hotel not even for free. The coffee machine had mold on the inside, it was absolutely disgusting. Absolutely don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room did not get cleaned properly we had no garbage can in the room had no place to throw the garbage the cleaning ppl only fixed the bed and gave new towers the bathroom shower had stains and the sink as if it has not been clean in decades

Tale of two stays.. Stayed in oceanfront 318 for two nights and room was wonderful. A little dated but still nice. Went to key west for one night and came back to Beacon for one more night in room 410. Its was horrible... mold all over the bathroom, crappy desk, just plain dirty. It was one night so we slept and got the hell out of there. YUCK

stayed at beacon hotel for 4 nights, everything turned out good. cvs is right next to it which I like. a lot of restaurants options near. and the best part is the beach, it’s literally across the street. the room was small but cute for 2 people. the only thing that we didn’t like was the smell of our hallway. it smelled so nasty, the carpet looks like it needs a deep cleaning. but other than that, we had a great time at beacon hotel.

The concierge lady was okay. She seemed restless when me and my friends got there at 11 something at night. But check in was okay. I got to my room and it was okay. Got to the bathroom and the tile was full of mold. The water wouldn’t go drain properly and I sent the concierge lady the pictures of the mold. My room was moist and I was uncomfortable I thank God I brought my own sheets and cover. Plus the bath water kept the floors wet. Beings though it was the holiday weekend a lot of places were booked. So I couldn’t leave.

The room was extremely small. The pillows were like throw pillows. They were small and horrible! The bathroom was the size of a closet! I am 5’2 120 pounds and I couldn’t even move in there. If you are a bigger person, do not stay here! Our bathtub was painted or something but the texture of it was rough like sand!

This hotel is perfectly located on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach near restaurants, the beach, everything! Once you get there, you just walk everywhere. The rooms are clean and small, but what we expected for an older building in the middle of everything. They have the cutest little area to relax and lounge outside of the rooms.

Cons The rooms are super small and a bit outdated. The bathroom was so tiny I had to enter by walking sideways. The actual restaurant and bar was okay. We actually ate and got drinks from the other hotel bars. Pros Housekeeping came daily. The lady that checked us in was super nice. We had complimentary beach chairs, umbrella and towels daily. I probably won’t use this hotel again but I did have a good time in Miami

Its not good at all. They say wifi is working but it never connects. The ac is messed up the fan and light don’t work. This is for two separate rooms not just one room. The manager will not help you. They are rude they only want to steal yours money. Once they take your money they don’t care about you.

The bed was horrible it sag in the middle. I asked for washcloths the next morning and told me they didn’t have any. If I cut the air conditioner down when I walk in my room, it smelled like sewer. It’s very convenient if you want to stay on Ocean Drive next time I visit Miami I will go somewhere else.

The location was excellent. You need to walk across the boardwalk/street to get to the beach. You cannot see the beach from the property. The room is small. The bathroom is tiny. The building is old, but the room felt clean. The two bed queen room was too small for 3 people. The beach was gorgeous.

Horrible I requested a receipt I was told I would get a email no email I called spoke to a unprofessional human that did not give his name I asked for his name he said no I will not give I my name than hung up on me . Horrible horrible situation I will never come back to the beacon south beach the restaurant was ok outside. The front desk staff is horrible beyond horribkev. Don’t stay here trust me hortible treatment and than hung up on . Horrible

Woman at front desk was extremely rude and just miserable. She should probably find a nee job if she is that unhappy. The young man who took our bags to store was FANTASTIC. Restaurant was not good and very overpriced. Chicken Parm tasted worse than chef boyardee.

My husband and I had a quick layover in Miami for one night and wanted to have a nice place near South Beach. The location of the Beacon Hotel is perfect, literally steps from Muscle Beach, the volleyball courts and the boardwalk. Great people watching and tons of restaurants, bars and shops up and down Ocean Dr. Would stay here again. Side note the bed in our room was awesome!

It was awesome to be so close to the beach and all the food. And only a 15 minute drive from downtown miami, the location could not be any better for exploring south beach and miami, thanks for the clean awesome room!

Service was wonderful- everyone from front desk, bell hop, restaurant was phenomenal. Very kind and accommodating. Hotel is in prime Ocean Drive location - but with this it means it’s an older hotel- so keep this in mind. Updates have been done, but again, keep your expectations in check.

The hotel its self is very run down. We had to call to get toilet repaired. The room had a small window unit that barely kept the room cool during the day. The carpets are stained through out the lobby. The restaurants have large menu options but be prepared for a 20% auto gratuity that the servers say they never see. The bar was great with some strong drinks. South Beach its self appeared safe during the day. At night stay inside. I was asked to buy drugs every where I walked.
