Days Inn by Wyndham Covington

Property was decent. Looks as if some construction is going on nearby. The pool could use lots of maintenance. Tadpoles and debris along with maybe getting a net for the pool to help remove debris.

Pool wasn’t clean had a green tent

I will start by saying that the front desk was pleasant. THere is limited free breakfast of dry goods and make self waffles. Juices, teas, coffees ECT. Standard quick get . Parking is easy and ample. Lighting is good and there seems to be limited shadow areas. The pool was closed and appeared for that, closed, in safe keeping. The room was extremely large.The jetted tub had to be cleaned before use. When the tub was first filled and turned on, oil like residue with black grim appered to ring the tub. The shower was hard to use due to the handle not working properly and low water pressure. The place is out dated and needs a revamp. These are of concern however my largest concern was 'the lady of the night' that seemed to be standing to near me and my car as I went to leave. For this reason alone, I would not return. I have no issues with how one makes a living, I had a problem with how I felt getting in my car. There's a micro, min fridge, tv, free wifi, a love seatthat pulls out into a bed is in the sitting area. The large ketted tub actually sits directly off the sleeping area. THe wc has shower vanity toilet. Bed was huge and clean to the eye.

Pool was dirty and unkept.

Pool was green. The beds were not queen. Room smelled bad. A lot of broke appliances in room.

Nice service. Clean rooms and pool. Will definitely come back

1st room Refrigerator did not work and the room was unclean. 2nd room a little cleaner but not much. Hairs everywhere, dead bugs, cob webs. No lamp shade, door to outside did not close properly. Mold in grout in shower. Breakfast what Breakfast 2 yogurt in fridge maybe 2 pieces of bread 2-3 muffins no fruit orange juice was out. Waffle mix so thinned out it barly made a Waffle. And to top it off Fox entertainment was on the tv and the connection was so bad it broke up every few seconds. Something neutral should be on not that. Over all this was the nastiest room i have stayed in.

The bed sheets upon arrival had boogers on them, there was hair all over the tub and bathroom floor, and the floors were dirty. The staff is very friendly, however, I feel the place could use a very good deep cleaning. We had two rooms booked, and there were cleanliness issues with both. My overall experience here was not great, and the only positives were the beds were pretty comfy and the staff was so kind. Had we not driven for 24 hours straight on the way here, and arrived at 7:30AM after leaving our home at 7:30AM the day prior, we would have gone to a different place.

Roaches

Room was clean upon arrival but the number of centepedes crawling on the floor was outrageous. For a one one stay my daughter and I just dealt with it and remained until departing Saturday morning. Parking lot was a bit busy and the office staff was too selfish with towels and wash clothes. Could have used more towels for two women and one child.

The staff was nice is the only good thing about this place. If you walked on the floor barefooted your feet turned black from dirt. I had a bug crawl on me in my sleep & wasps in my room. Our linens & towels were stained. The walls are so thin I could hear the TV in the next room clearly like it was in my own room

Room was in very poor condition, and was not clean. The bathroom sink was very dirty and even had pieces of someone's false eyalashes stuck to the wall. Bathroom door didn't shut or lock. The beds were newer and comfortable.

Older hotel. Could have been more clean…dead centipedes and live centipedes on floor.

This was not the room in the advertisement. It was dirty, had cobwebs & spiders along with some kind of unknown specimen on the walls. The mirror was sitting on the ground propped up against the wall and held back with the broken hand towel rack. The room stunk and also had someone else’s hair and chipped nail polish on the floor. The “continental breakfast” was a bowl of cereal and a waffle maker, again not like described in the advertisement. Had it not been almost midnight I would’ve went to another hotel!

I didn’t even stay at this place because it was so disgusting and dirty the sheets had human fluids on the sheets and the room smelled like cigarettes had just been smoked and they didn’t even bother to change those disgusting sheets so I told the front desk clerk I wasn’t going to stay there and I asked for a full refund of my deposit and I still have not received my money yet.

Me and my family stayed one night, the room was dirty, the sink has multiple hairs in it, the bedding and cigarette burns. I reserved a room with 2 queen beds non-smoking, I was given a room with a queen bed and a full size bed, it’s a smoking room. The people next door were smoking pot all night.

They have renovated the rooms with wooden floors and new furniture. However, the fixtures were missing or broken.

Breakfast is clearly tiast, cereal so should be listed as continental. Ok place to stay with nearby places to eat

A flea jumped on me in the lobby, the TV only had 1 channel, the WiFi and cellular service was terrible, the toilet was not full secured to the floor, the room was not comfortable at all. For the rate I paid, it was underwhelming to say the least. I was in a slight emergency situation and the location was convenient for my immediate needs but it’s not a place I would choose to stay at or recommend to anyone.

Towels had holes, didn't offer Netflix or other streaming services, could hear neighbors all night, front desk staff asked several personal questions while checking in. Several hairballs in bathroom that didn't belong to me, toilet seat wasn't connected to toilet I had to repair. I'm not a complainer so I just dealt with it but will NEVER stay there again

It was not clear that the rooms I booked were smoking rooms. I didn’t even know in 2023 there was such a thing. Upon looking back at my reservation, in very small print it’s noted that the rooms are smoking. Very unethical business practices. The room smelled so badly of cigarettes and marijuana that we were all coughing, sneezing and our noses burned. The room was uninhabitable. I was told the system said we couldn’t have a refund. It is asinine that the business practice is to swindle customers to book an uninhabitable room claim it’s “non refundable” and expect a customer not to become furious when the deception is discovered. To further complicate our issue, there were no other hotels available so we had to drive an hour away to find a place to sleep. I had 4 children with me & 1 other adult. We had to be back in the area at 6am for a function at the horse park nearby which involved caring for 4 horses, who depend on us being responsible and taking good care of them regardless of weather, sleep or anything else. Had I known these were smoking rooms, I never ever would have booked them. The right thing to do is to refund in full my booking. While I recognize the hotel needs to make $; they were sold out and unable to move us. The hotel made a huge profit that weekend. I implore you to do the right thing by right thing and refund my booking at the days inn

The check in was fast and the room was easy to find. The breakfast is very minimal and not that great unless you just like the waffles. The bed was sooo comfy but the sheets had minor stains on them and the room smelled like smoke when I walked in even though it was non-smoking. The floors seemed really dirty although they might have been cleaned… not sure.. the shower was clean but we didn’t use it. The building is very old so there’s scratches and indentations and… yeah idk.. needs more renovation but i slept pretty well. Great for one night!

I was greeted by a very nice man when checking in! We made it very late and this was ok with the property! It was very quiet, we didn’t have towels in the room, but they did not hesitate when I asked for them! Very nice place and this was my second time visiting I am sure it won’t be my last!!

Check-in was smooth and easy. Area was quiet. Employees were nice and welcoming. Breakfast was that great, not many options. Room was abit outdated, and not very clean. We found a sticky froot loop on the phone, and the previous overnight peoples trash. Wasn't no big deal, luckily I brought chlorox wipes. Overall it was a good stay, my girls and I had a blast.

This was a horrible experience . My reservations had been made. When we arrived it took an act of congress to find the entrance. Then I went in to check in and was told my room had been given away and the clerk tried to bully me into another room that did not meet our needs. The area was poorly lit outside with a group of men standing around outside. The lobby was not clean and smelled horrible. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Convenient to other business in the area.

Very nice people that worked at the desk. The room service was nice and got what you needed. Quite little motel close to Covington Square we went for The Vampie Diaries and it was like 4 minutes from the square where TVD stuff is. I’ll be staying there again when we go back. It was convenient to stores and dining.

There wasn't anything unique about this property rooms was dirty and the surroundings where very unsafe so checked out about 20 minutes after checking in and asked for a refund !!!

Checked in and pulled comforter back to find dirty sheets. Like someone walked around with dirty feet in the sheets. We demanded our money back a got another hotel for a bit more money. Would not recommend. Area is not great. Pretty sure we saw a drug deal going down in parking lot.

Did not like that there were people living their. Smoking pot out side our door. Honeless sleeping under the steps.

Checked into this motel while running through town, the outside was a mess with shopping carts, trash, random bins topped over on sidewalk/in parking lot. The room itself was dirty, smelled, had things crusted in the jetted tub and was very gross, the lock for the door was broken so could not lock, the curtain was hanging and was unable to fix so no privacy. Checked in & out within 15 minutes.

The staff was very attentive to our needs! The breakfast was fair, however I was happy that the children with me slept in cause there would have been no food for them. I was able to salvage enough waffle mix for a piece of a waffle. Overall the experience was ok! A little work on the breakfast and it would have been better!

Had to request clean towels and for bed to be changed after being told they would be changed every other day. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast time too short. 6 a.m.--9:00 a.m. Should at least be to 10:00 a.m.

The only reason why I go to this property. It's cause it's convenient and it's decent price. The décor/flooring walls. Everything is outdated needs changed. The breakfast that they serve the cereal, the container was broken on both. They had no muffins that one and it was stale that has been like a month old or so, there is no fruit. Nothing like that. I could barely get the orange juice thing to work.That was lacked, it seemed like they had their family members in the office during breakfast, they were all lounged everywhere. I'm pretty sure they're not guessed due to the fact that they were there when I checked in and the cars were gone at night. They came back the following morning. I ended up throwing everything away. They need a series update. Some of the front desk clerks are not nice. There's one young lady there that was sweet and asked all the right questions. It may checking in easy. Never get a room on the backside, unless you want to smell like straight up pot everything from top floor down to the back, the backside is very sketchy i wouldn't park my vehicle back there? I parked straight at the office

What continental breakfast? Rude lady at desk everyday! said no coffee 5 minutes after the time. also out of 5 days only one day had pastries and no milk for cereal. room had Potatoe chips behind the bed and behind the tv was chips and dead crickets. maid complained she had no time to clean tub or the floors. this place gave Days Inn a bad name. no elavator AND no luggage cart !
