While the property looked nice like every other Hampton Inn, this weekend felt like a comedy of errors. The pool was closed for renovations, despite someone having called to ensure it would be open. One of the elevators was broken. The remote in the room didn't work well. And to top it all off, MANY cars had windows smashed and things stolen out of them Friday night. I know of 6 cars personally, I think the number was higher than that. The hotel staff said this was an ongoing problem.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful. Our room was huge and the bed was excellent. We were wanting to get onto the road first thing in the morning and the location was excellent for that. The only thing that wasn’t as advertised was that the exercise room was closed for renovations. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

The interior quality of the hotel were fine. The exterior, particularly the parking lot was unpatrolled and unsafe. The following mornibg, we discovered that 4 parked vehicles had their windows busted out. We also learned that this has been an ongoing problem at the Hampton and surrounding hotels. For this reason, I will not book future reservations at this hotel.

The room, etc. was great. the only issue was the lights were out in one of the elevators and the control panel fell off of the wall as the elevator was decending from the 2nd to the 1st floor. I blocked the door with a cart, and reported it to the front desk, the maintenance man put the panel back up, but the lights were still out when I left on Saturday morning.

The hotel itself was a nice hotel and well-priced. During our two night stay, someone broke into our vehicle along with 6 other patrons. While I understand it’s not the hotel’s fault, this is apparently a common occurrence. I should have read the reviews before booking because I see other’s have had the same experience. With the frequency of this issue, I would thing stronger security measures would have been taken.

I generally stay at this hotel for business once a month. I preferred a king bed but all they had available was two queen beds so I took that. Personally I had been going to dance practice to learn a dance for try outs. I forgot my gym shoes so I went barefooted in the room and doing my dance routine. The carpet was dirty and greasy feeling. When I stepped in the shower, the tub was black where my feet stepped. I will never go barefoot in a hotel room again. The carpet should not be cleaned but replaced. It is beyond cleaning.

At check-in,3:00, room wasn’t available. When we did get to the room there was blood,BLOOD,on the back of the toilet seat and on the bathroom floor. I cleaned it up. I reported this to the lady at the desk who said she’d send someone up. I declined as I had already cleaned it. When we arrived back to our room there was a bottle of spray cleaner on the back of our toilet. So after I said DON’T send someone up,she did,and left a bottle for what? Me to clean it again? In this day and age blood is just unacceptable. Ever.

This hotel was so dirty, from the front desk all the way through and into our actual room. Shredded cheese all over the floor. Blankets not cleaned or changed smelled like BO. This is right across from an amazing mall and its absolutely disgusting. Hairs all over our towells and in the shower We checked in at 4 and there was still restaurant trash sitting outside our room in the hallway.

Mobility access king room. Shower had been leaking for some time. The floor and wall joints were laden with black mold, making the shower unusable. Notified front desk, but agent not willing to do anything about it-told to contact hotel manager the next day. This room should not have been rented. On checking out requested some recompensation consideration. Denied. I have contacted the county health department. This experience will terminate my use of Hampton Inns.

The rooms were not properly cleaned, There was cobwebs around the ac and the bathroom was dirty. I went to the breakfast buffet once and it was so nasty that i did not eat or go back. Overall it was the worst Hilton hotel ive ever stayed in.

It was conveniently located for our destination. It was VERY dark in the room, and we couldn't open the curtains/blinds to let in more light. They could use more light in the room. It probably would not have been a problem if the curtains worked. The TV also did not work. We had to keep unplugging the box, and we finally got one channel to work. Only 1 elevator worked, and I was a bit hesitant to get on it because the working one made a lot of noise. Overall, we were very safe. As an owner, however, I would think I would want to make sure everything was working to its fullest potential, and if a room was not, I would try to make other accommodations (another room with working curtains/TV) or offer a discount.

Didn't spend a lot of time here, so didn't get to partake in breakfast, nor use the fitness facility. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and it was very quiet at night. My only complaint would be the lighting. If you were planning to do any work from the room, it's quite dark.

Reasonable price, friendly staff, breakfast included, very close to Easton. The wall unit heater/ac was a little noisy, and a corner floor lamp would help brighten up the room, but otherwise we really liked this hotel.

Let me begin by saying the staff here was incredible. Warm, friendly, accommodating. 3 issues with the room: 1. Terrible lightning. Room is too dark. 2. Shades did not work. Couldn’t raise or lower them. Created issues during the day with temperature and early mornings with sunlight coming in. When I asked at the desk, was politely informed that it is a known issue that cannot be resolved due to budget cuts. 3. Bathtub was half filled with water when we checked in. We have stayed here before, but, unfortunately, never again.

Check in was supposed to be 3:00pm. I got there at 3:49 and my room still wasn’t ready. There were a bunch of people standing in the lobby waiting to get their rooms too. We were all there for a concert. People were getting ready in the lobby since their rooms weren’t ready. Due to this we also missed the first two artists of the concert. Completely unacceptable!

The gentleman name Abraham on staff did a great job but all in all it was overpriced for the fact that we had a broken TV. The female, who answered the phones and worked the front desk was rude and not very helpful. When I asked about getting some kind of discount since they couldn’t move us to a room with a working TV I was told they couldn’t do that. All they could do is add to the Hampton reward points. I wouldn’t stay at another Hampton. I was thoroughly unimpressed with this one and think I’ll pass on any future visits.

The person at the desk upon arrival was incredibly rude at check in to us and others in line and when addressing our room issues. Our TV & phone didn’t work, (rm 214), she was rude when we called front desk to report the issues using our cell phone. She rudely assumed we just couldn’t figure them out. Finally sent a maintenance person who saw both were broken & said “ I will be right back” but never came. She was rude again when we went down to inquire after waiting over 1 hr saying “your room phone wouldn’t work so I couldn’t reach you”, We informed her the maintenance man said he would be back to which she replied “he doesn’t speak English”, We were relocated to rm 217 after rudely receiving instructions of how to do so. So much about her behavior was unacceptable to multiple people checking in and reflects poorly on Hampton brand. We reported this on check out as well as that new room had faulty tub faucet and received a more appropriate apology. However, I won’t be planning another stay at this location and will reconsider Hampton all together on future business and pleasure travel if this is now an acceptable level of customer service. On a positive, breakfast room was clean and spacious and bed was comfortable.

Rooms and hotel were good. Parking lot and area not safe. About a dozen vehicles were broken into by smashing a window, ours included. Seems to happen frequently there, was brushed off like this is normal ! Will never go back.

I was scheduled to stay at the property for two nights and I booked three rooms for my family. We only stayed at the property one night because I went to my car that I rented to discover that window have broken out and that vandals went through the car a stole my house key that I had in the glove box. There were five cars that were broken in on the property Thanksgiving day. When I shared that my car had been broken into the front desk staff informed me that break ins had been happening in the area hotels and that I had to call the police to file a police report. It would have been great to be informed during check in that break ins were occurring in the area.

The people working at the hotel were excellent. No issues there. However, the location is incredibly noisy from the highway and busy side streets, lots of sirens, and a parking lot security monitoring system that makes announcements over a PA system at all times of night. It’s a city hotel, so it’s unavoidable. But if you’re not a great sleeper, it will be a rough night.

2nd time staying here- great location for a Columbus visit, lots of restaurants around. Affordable, good area and seemed safe- I saw security cameras in the parking lots and it was well lit at night, so I wasn't concerned with car break-ins that other Columbus hotel reviews have noted in recent months. Also room was quiet, bed was very comfortable, just an enjoyable stay overall. 1 of the 2 elevators wasn't working so it took a little longer to go between floors but wasn't terrible. Overall I just really like this hotel and it's now my go-to when staying in the area.

Probably the worst hotel in the area. Hampton inns are usually nice anc clean and well ran. But not this place. Here are a few takeaways: - first upon check in there were about 10 ppl in line on a Saturday around 4pm and check in took about 40 minutes. Rooms not ready, one person behind the desk moving at a snails speed. - elevator lights out, elevator doesn’t go to the 5th floor - room was ok but the blackout curtain didn’t go all the way down so I didn’t get a good nights sleep. The sink in the bathroom not properly cleaned so the water wouldn’t drain at all - last but not least- we got to breakfast at 9.40 and food was completely out, no one replenished it, both waffle makers didn’t work at all. So my kids didn’t get breakfast- seriously probably the worst service I’ve encountered. There’s clearly staffing issues here and nothing is being fixed. But I will not be staying here ever again. So many hotels in this nice area- this one is probably the worst!!!!

We loved our stay here. The staff is amazingly friendly and the place was very clean. Our only concern was breakfast. None of the options except the bagels were good. The waffles stuck, no matter what we did. And the eggs and potatoes and meat were not good at all. Thanks!

We just stayed for night while in Columbus. We stay at many Hampton Inns. This one nice. Just disappointed no napkins at breakfast (ran out) and food was low and ran out before 10am.
