Conveniently located, easy to walk around. Sea lions right there and able to view from the balcony. However, there is no air conditioning and we slept with the slider doors open. Which was nice to hear the water lapping, the sea lions barking and having the fresh air circulating. Luckily the weather was beautiful. Parking was a little in the tight side especially for a SUV.

Our room had a great view. We could see the sea lions on the beach from our balcony, but also could hear them very loudly. Not a big deal unless you want to leave the balcony door open at night for the cool ocean breeze since they do not have a/c. There is a fan in the room, which we used and made it just fine. Parking is an extra $25.00 but is a parking garage and provides some security. Over all an enjoyable experience.

Very pleasant stay at Monterey Bay Inn. Great room with an amazing view of the bay, right on the water. The water is so clean you can see fish swimming around. Breakfast in the morning was great. Very good continental breakfast that is brought to your room. Also, nice cookies in the lobby!
