Everything was great the hotel was very full and great guest but the kitchen was closed and no bartender at the bar I was very disappointed especially when you had like 16 people in the lobby seating area jus chatting with each other

Room was nice and clean. Service was great. However the pool had entirely too much chlorine. My children were in for about 10 mins and got out because their eyes immediately started burning. Not safe as i had a toddler in the pool as well. So i immediately removed the toddler from her float and got her out of the water.

The potential is there but no amenities were open other than the gym. The room waa "ready" early but the bathroom was clearly not cleaned as there was long hair in the tub and no body wash as well as lip balm on the floor by the bed that was missed. The potential would be AMAZING, but this trip was cool but not above average. Just OK.

Older property and I was charged a parking fee for each room (two rooms) although there was only one Car. I complained to guest services and was told they would refund a parking fee. Still waiting on refund!

The whole reason I booked this hotel was so my daughter could swim , the pool was closed the whole 4 days

The bathroom had hair on toilet and sink area. The room had an odor and carpet was damp. The bar and pool/hot tub was not available as advertised. The restaurant was not available during the day, only during breakfast.The carpet in room and foyer were very dirty. Upon entry the bed spread was old and had snags. My friend,s room did not have an ironing board, she had to iron on the bed.

It was just a stop through stay on the way home. The hotel seemed nice. Room was comfortable and clean however the pool was not. I understand lots of people are in the pool through out the day i just feel they should keep an eye out on cleanliness throughout the day. Over all a pleasant stay.

I've stayed at this location for many years. They have always offered continental breakfast and free parking, but no more. The site mentions nothing of having to pay $15 per person for breakfast or a daily parking fee. Rates are high enough, so these should still be free. Read carefully when booking directly on their site. Carpet under the bed had NOT been cleaned since whenever, and also had a bad smell. I will NO LONGER book at Hilton Garden Inn, regardless of the location.

While the renovation of the lobby area is nice, the rest of the premises have yet to be refurbished. The room furniture is old and scratched, and has tattered upholstery. The elevator and corridors are hot, with poor/no ventilation. Bathroom has no hand soap, which is unsanitary. There is not enough parking when arriving later in the evening. And lastly, the Wifi was not working the entire stay (Fri - Sun). Free Wifi is advertised, but was not provided.

We selected the hotel with the expectation of utilizing the pool and hot tub facilities. However, we were disappointed to find the hot tub was out of order and the pool had a gritty texture on the bottom, suggesting concrete deterioration. Despite this, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

This entire hotel is gross. Sheets dirty, carpet dirty, curtains old and yellow. It needs a remodel asap. For the price I spent, this was unacceptable. Disgusting and disgraceful.

Got there around 8pm and my room was still not ready and had to wait..after that wait we finally made it to the room and its still missing soap and you can see how rushed it was cleaned

Hotel lobby/elevator area dirty. Hotel room dirty, floor not vacuumed and bathroom appears to be not sanitized or clean. No hot water.

Found blood stains on a pillow case. Front desk replaced the pillow but I was still uneasy about the rest of the bedding. When trrying for to sleep there was an extremely loud and uneven humming noise - it was not the AC unit.

Bathroom in my king sized bed room had a dirty floor with marks and smudges, tub had more stains. I decided it would be better to just clean myself instead of waiting for a response from house cleaning. Thankfully I prepare for these situations based off past experiences. The shower curtain also gave the bathroom and room a mildew like smell that was easily noticable for myself and guest. The rest of the room was much cleaner except for a few hairs here and there.

The beds were hard and some of the pillows had mold on them, one of the comforters had a burn hole in them.

The room was fine but the bathroom was not as clean as I thought it should be. Didn’t have any wash cloths. Tv not compatible for fire stick. Needs to be upgraded

I’m NOT a person to leave reviews but this was nothing short of UNREAL!!!! We had to change rooms 4 times within a 24 hour period of timei went to Virginia for a funeral and I cud not believe what I had to deal with. The rooms: . Filthy. Crumbs all over tables. Food in frig. Trash in trash can. Hair in sink. Shower water coming out of walls. Toilet not working. Door knobs to bathroom non functional. Staff doesn’t take hotel business serious. Hilton is getting a bad rap by allowing this facility to use its name. Unreal. I spent so much time trying to deal with the mess I feel like I could not be present for my family the way I should have. I reached out to hotels.com for resolution assistance. I paid for 2 nights and got refunded for one. They would not refund the one night we stayed and cancel the 2nd night. I cud not handle the unnecessary stress while trying to be supportive to Mr family. Disheartening to say the least

Very friendly staff but the room was not as clean and I would like it. There was someone’s lashes on the bathroom counter and hair on the bathroom floor. Not sure if the tib was not cleaned properly or just stained but it wasn’t welcoming.

The hotel needs some major renovation to live up to Hilton reputation. Very dated but clean and very good service as expected

First room we checked in to had no bedding and all the drawers were pulled out. The second room was fine. The rooms are incredibly dark & dated. Surprised this was a Hilton. The front desk staff was very nice. We felt sorry for them bc we overheard other people complaining about their rooms & it isn’t their fault. The staff allowed us to store balloons in an unused conference room which was very helpful to us.

Only complaint was the drooping shower curtain rod. It caused the curtain to droop towsrds the middlenof the rod and left each end of the curtain open. I did advise t h e s

The bed was uncomfortable. I could feel springs and the bed was noisy.

Check-in was terrible. Had to be shown three rooms. First one had the tv and bathroom lights on, so it was clearly not ready. In the second room there was a humming sound and the toilet’s water kept running. In the third room the fridge was dirty and a piece from the tub was not repaired. The walls are super thin, so you hear your neighbors while they are using the bathroom, also. Would NOT recommend this hotel.

The room had a broken air conditioner and was hot. The thermostat was set on 66 but registered 79. We asked for a different room & were told there were no more. No concessions were offered. The room also smelled like dogs. I do not recommend. We would have looked for another hotel if it wasn’t so late.

Conrad Hilton would be spinning in his grave if he saw this place. The staff is friendly but the rooms are dark, marginally clean, with an old mattress with a ridge in the middle. The place is as noisy as hell. I could hear TVs, people talking and arguing all night long. I was there for early AM activities and it was nearly impossible to sleep. The walls are paper thin. Totally unacceptable at this price point. The property needs a total renovation, if only to get rid of the Febreeze odor mask and borderline bathrooms.

The heating and air conditioning unit in the room did not work!

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with friendly staff who greeted me warmly. However, the room itself left much to be desired. The bed was uncomfortable, providing little support for a good night’s sleep, and the mattress was stained and squeaked. The bedding created a sense of unease. Overall, the accommodations did not meet my expectations.

I arrived at 3pm to check in and still did not have a room available until I asked for a different room at 5pm. I was there for a concert at 7pm so I was super rushed to get ready and get to the venue. I also had to ask for a different room after being told at least 3 times that my room wasn’t ready. Very disappointing. The room was clean enough, carpet is outdated and not very clean. The manager advised another guest that had been there since Tuesday (this was Friday) that they were short staffed although he made repeated requests for his room to be cleaned it hadn’t been cleaned once. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The staff was courteous and nice. One temporary problem with the room. The commode did not refill with water after flushing. Notified the front desk and someone from maintenance was sent to make the rep.

The hotel staff made this stay super enjoyable. The ladies at the front desk were amazing and super attentive.

I stay with Hampton Inn and Suites regularly for the nice rooms and facilities at reasonable rates. This trip was great, except for my check-in and check out. I came in at 2:45 and asked if they were checking in guests yet. The employee at the desk said they would check in all guests at 3pm and not before since they were full. I sat on the couch. A line formed and I joined the line. This seemed counterproductive to have guests standing around but I understood the reasoning. When it was my turn to check in, the employees at the desk started discussing a guest who had just checked in. The person checking me in walked away to look for them and then came back and started talking to her coworker about the room I chose not being ready. Her coworker then helped her check me in to another room which was fine. After I got checked in, I received a phone call from someone asking my name. I asked who this was and they explained they were from the front desk. We talked and whatever the issue was, it was resolved. The following day one of the employees was at the desk. There was a man at the desk for several minutes. I wanted to ensure my points were registered and ask for change of a twenty dollar bill for a tip. The process was taking a long time and seemed chaotic. I finally just left my keys on the desk and left. This was just very unusual for customer service. Chaotic and not friendly.

Booked in advance, prepaid was rudely told they were full and they didnt honor the reservation at all. Told me to leave. It was awful. Never would stay there, run!

Upon arrival with three kids at 10 PM I got upstairs to get them to bed and there were no sheets or pillows for their bed. I called to get them and was told we could have some but had to go to the lobby to get them ourselves. The next day I found a pair of men’s dirty underwear and socks behind the TV (No male traveled with me). We also needed more towels and were told we needed to come to the lobby for them too.

We couldn’t check in early but the front desk associate, India did her best to accommodate our quick change and even made sure we had an iron. That was def going above and beyond and I couldn’t think her enough.

My family & I have stayed at this hotel several times, but this is the 1st time that we have been disappointed in our stay here. First, there was no mattress or linen in the room for the pull out couch. When we asked the front desk for a mattress and linen for the couch, we were advised that they didn't have anymore mattresses for the pull out couch & they gave us 2 blankets to place under the couch cushions to keep the couch from sinking in so our child could sleep on the couch. But they never brought us a pillow for him. We also requested to swap out dirty towels for clean towels. We never received any clean towels our whole 2 night stay. When we followed up about it, the housekeeper had an attitude and said if we had clean towels, I would have put them in your room but we are waiting for clean towels. Later that evening, i went to the front desk & asked for towels. I was advised that they didn't have any clean towels and wouldn't have any until the morning we check out after 8am. Then she tried to offer me a couple of bottles of water that they were selling in the rooms to compensate for not having any clean towels. If you stay here with your family, make sure you bring a blow up mattress, extra linen, and towels. Needless to say, this will be our last time booking a room at this location. I expected much better service from the Hilton.

All staff from front desk to housekeeping and especially Janvive whom was so kind and refreshing over the phones to confirm my reservation the morning of my arrival

Staff was attentive. Requested sheets/pillows and cups of the coffee machine in the room delivered in a timely basis

The hotel was in perfect area, near shops and restaurants. Very clean and service was great!! To add to comfortability, some good pillows would have been great!! Would definitely stay again!!

Multiple cars had there windows broken the first night. The place is dated.

Close to shopping and restaurants

There were theft to several vehicles. Guest had to put plastic paper and card board on their vehicle due to robbers breaking windows. I think short staff because the room was not cleaned.

Clean room. Friendly staff. The bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was ideal for what we needed to do in Hampton. Without hesitation, I would stay here again when I next am in Hampton.

Super convent to the colosseum under 5 minute drive. I would say this hotel is good for a 1 night stay only and you’re in and out. Extremely disappointed in the breakfast. We went to eat and the waitress told me it would be $15 for adults to eat and $10 for my 10 MONTH OLD BABY! I asked again to make sure I heard her correct yup I did! Hotel is definitely dated but if your in town for a night it’s not bad there is a cute little outdoor mall not to far shops restaurants etc

The proximity to restaurants and freeway access is great but the hotel itself was not a good experience. When we first checked in they gave us a room that smelt awful as if it hadn’t been cleaned or attended to in a while. The smell was unbearable so we asked to be moved to a different room. Then our last night there as my fiancée, 2 month old daughter and family were walking into hotel three masked men came in behind them attempting to rob everyone. They fled the scene because of the amount of people in the lobby but when the dissatisfaction was expressed to the manger about the overall experience (smell of the room and negligence of safety for guests) she brushed it off by saying “well no one was hurt so….” I understand there are some things out of their total control but as a manager to express no empathy or apology for the horrible experience is ridiculous and unacceptable!

The place was convenient near the Hampton University College because it was there Homecoming Weekend the staff was very professional and polite

Breakfast is a joke. $15 for a "buffet" that consists of only "eggs" potatoes and sausage or bacon. Basic fruit and cereal. Not even a pancake or waffle machine. Hotel was run down and in great need of a remodel. Only thing good was the location

Nice room, good amenities, good breakfast including eggs and sausage. Rooms were clean. No conditioner in bathroom and soap had a funny film left on the skin after washing. The stairwell we came down didn't lead to the first floor, but instead exit and what looks like a maintenance area. That was unusual since there were no signs stating anything. We had to go back upstairs and find the elevator. Not a big deal but it did stand out in my mind. Overall stay was very nice. Make sure if you have breakfast included in your rate, that the front desk gives you your tickets. We had to go back and ask for them after being turned away for not having it. Still, it was a nice stay in a good area.

The hotel was great minus a little confusion regarding breakfast. I, along with several others, assumed that breakfast was free. There was a separate charge for that.

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was nice. My only caution is, the breakfast is just silly. They expect $15 for a "buffet" that would be skimpy for the free breakfast at most places. But if you plan to eat breakfast somewhere else, it's fine.
