I was given a code to pay for parking and there was know where to enter the code so I had to pay for parking. I said something about it they said when you get sent an email about your stay say something about. I did have got no response. We chose this hotel because of the pool and the pool was closed with no reason why . It was a good stay other than these things .

We were really looking forward to using the pool during our vacation, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for maintenance during our stay, and we were not informed about this in advance. It would’ve been helpful to know ahead of time so we could’ve adjusted our plans or considered other options. Communication about amenities is important, and we hope the hotel improves in this area moving forward! Otherwise it was clean and staff was nice.

Typical hotel stay but there was a conference going on, usually no big deal. But only one elevator out of three was working and we got stuck 3 times because the door would t open. They said they were working on it but all weekend it was something. Also be prepared to pay $10/day to park to a company that isn’t Embassy Suites. The water at the restaurant and in the rooms taste horrible and the only option we were offered was to buy Evian water at $4/bottle. Expected way more from Embassy Suites.

Be aware you have to pay 10 dollars a day to park! That wasn’t clear with the booking. Polite staff and nice room. The grounds are very well kept. The pool was absolutely freezing. After 9pm there are no kids allowed in the pool, but the older kids were still there making a lot of noise and doing canon balls. I made sure to book a stay at a place with a pool and i was Never able to use it

Your gym was a BIG let down, there were only 2 treadmills in your gym and neither one was working. I was highly disappointed. There is a missing and broken tile in your middle elevator that needs to be fixed ASAP because someone can fall by walking into the elevator and not seeing the missing tile. The guy who worked the omelet station was very friendly, outgoing and gave great service to all.

My bathrooms was filthy. Ordered room service and was delivered the wrong order twice. Lady that checked me in at front desk was rude and cold. While standing in the omelette line spotted a roach crawling up the wall. The worse hotel stay I’ve even had the misfortune of experiencing.

The property has a nice view and location. The area is unique for shopping and view. There are nearby places to eat and places to by gas and amenities. I didn't like the bathroom shower we had in our room, it was slow draining and we had to stand in ankle deep water while taking a shower. On the first day the water would only get to warm but on the next day was better, but still standing in ankle deep water.

As a repeat guest, I was VERY frustrated that the "Quiet Hours start at 10pm" does not hold true if someone has rented a banquet room. Apparently this hotel is a destination place for large family reunions, the common space was loud until midnight both Friday & Saturday nights with games being played, kids running around, and a DJ playing literally from morning to night. We needed to use the sofa sleeper - the noise from the late night parties made it impossible to sleep. Breakfast and Cocktail hour were great, but the loud crowds in the common area negate any positive I can say about the rest of the stay. I will think twice before booking again.

You get a ton of space, everything was clean, the only issue is if you want a quiet place don’t go here. All rooms circle around the lobby and they don’t enforce quiet hours so when I went people were blasting bass-y music on a speaker and you could hear it everywhere. Was told quiet hours start at 10pm but the noise kept going well over that. Will stay somewhere else. They also didn’t have towels in the pool area and had a sign to not track water in the hall to the elevator

Great breakfast. Breakfast, happy hour, and overall hotel staff is excellent! Room is a good size and comfortable. Beds are advertised as queen, but more of a full size. Shower curtains are too short for the tub so be mindful of water getting on the floor for safety. Very convenient to local events and shopping.

I made my reservation in advance and clearly requested a room with a king bed. Upon check-in, I was given a room with two double beds instead. When I returned to the front desk to address the issue, I was told that there were no longer any king rooms available and that this was the reason I was placed on the premium floor. I need to emphasize that this was not what I reserved or requested — I did not want to be moved to the premium floor; I specifically wanted the room with a king bed that I booked. This situation was very disappointing, as my reservation request was not honored. Additionally, my digital key showed a different room number than the one I was actually assigned at check-in. After spending several hours outside the hotel, we returned to the front desk for a third time, and it was then that we discovered our assigned room had been given to someone else, with our belongings still inside. We were escorted to retrieve our things from that room. We also had to return a fourth time to remove our credit card for accidental charges from the wrong room. It was a complete headache to deal with.

Embassy Suites at Hampton Coliseum was a great choice. Friendly and professional staff at check in. Spacious and clean rooms. We were comfortable and slept well. Altough it is a busy Mother's Day/prom/ HU weekend reunion weekend, service was excellent. We toriughly enjoyed complimentary complete breakfast. Great experience.

The hotel is great. The check in process was a bit long slide to a major concert at the coliseum across the street but that’s understandable. I was offered water bottles in a cute bag and I got to spin the wheel. The staff was very nice. The continental break was ok. They did have a fresh omelette station but the line was long. The room was great. Very modern. Very spacious. My issue is the random hairs on counters and the ceiling was peeling in the bathroom. They need to find a better way. I would most definitely return for every event I attend at the coliseum.

We love embassy suites. We stayed five days in Washington DC at an embassy suites before coming to stay four days here. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Day one for breakfast the gentle man was grabbing the vegetable at the omelet station with his hands and it was very messy which made my breakfast unappealing. Omelet had to be sent back as it was not cooked all the way. Day two we didn’t even go down for breakfast. Third day we went down at 920 and was told by the staff that they were already shutting down but he would go ahead and made us one but that he did take cash app tips. Totally inappropriate. Did not receive new towels or clean up service for our third day. Finally last night there there was loud music that was not addressed from 1130-2pm. Our flight left Norfolk at 0600 so we had to get up at three. Super disappointed in this embassy suites.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was okay if you like boiled eggs in a bag. Not what I remember from Embassy Suites. There was an omelette bar that we used once, it was not very good. Hotel is in disrepair. Broken tiles in every elevator. Poor paint jobs. Dingy carpets. We refused to walk around the room without socks on. Not sure if Embassy Suites has fallen back to the average or if it’s just this location. Had to pay for parking. Nothing stood out here as more than an average hotel, besides the high price. Considering their prices, an Air BNB is a much better option. I’m thinking we are done with Embassy Suites. Terrible value.

Check in was amazing. There was no dnd placard in the room so when I asked the cleaning staff to come just a little later she gave me a placard and then they never came back b Breakfast the first day was acceptable. 2nd day was horrendous. I arrived at 8:40 and there was nothing but crumbs for bacon and the eggs and potatoes were cold. I didn’t even eat them. The coffee cups were ALL dirty. Every single one. After requests from multiple people they finally brought paper cups.

Happy hour in the evening and breakfast in the morning are a big bonus. I didn't like that the Cyprus Grill was no longer in use and the menu was reduced significantly. There was some questionable stain on the ceiling of the bathroom.

The Hotel itself was perfect for us however the breakfast buffet was kinda sorry. The eggs where powered, the half cube sized potatoes where hard, the bacon was over cooked. Besides the breakfast the unexpected parking fee we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was much nicer than places I’ve stayed before especially for just one night, the buffet breakfast was also more than I’ve experienced before with true buffet style options including an omelet bar. The front desk staff were a little rude & lacked personable engagement with guests, there were several events happening during my stay and the front desk staff seemed to favor conversation with these attendees over regular guests. For such a prestigious hotel, they need more sound proof rooms that prevent heading beside or above you, outside of your window & when surrounding neighbors are closing their doors. My family and I heard arguing, slamming doors & music from outside our window and/or door between midnight-4am
