It was wonderful to have a beach view, and some time together as a family! We were happy to have the kitchenette to do some of our own cooking (bring your own supplies). Unfortunately, the floors were dirty upon our arrival. We were there for 3 nights, and no cleaning was provided. Water made a loud noise in our room when turned on. One small, slow elevator for the entire building. This is an older hotel in need of many renovations. We appreciated the price, but ultimately would not recommend it in its current condition.

Marjac Suites Virginia Beach – You Definitely Get What You Pay For! You definitely get what you pay for, but COME ON NOW! This hotel was trifling. I understand booking a budget-friendly hotel, but that does not mean cleanliness and basic maintenance should be completely overlooked. The toilet seat had stains, the soap dispenser was empty, and the bedroom dresser was sitting in the middle of the floor like someone had moved it and left it there. There was trash behind it, and the bed sheets smelled like urine and had severe stains all over them. Absolutely disgusting! The bed was also extremely hard, and the floor was filthy with sand everywhere. The bathtub and the sink near the refrigerator had mold, and the sink had additional stains. The TV didn’t even work. Honestly, it looked more like a display screen than an actual television. To make matters worse, the door wouldn’t close all the way and looked like someone had previously kicked it in. Parking was another nightmare. The spaces were so tight that I watched from my balcony as the person parked beside me hit my car with their door. Now, I will give credit where it’s due: the balcony view was absolutely perfect! Unfortunately, a nice view cannot make up for a dirty room, stained bedding, mold, broken amenities, and a door that doesn’t close properly. If I had to rate this hotel on a scale of 1–10, I would give it a ZERO. Yes, you get what you pay for, but basic cleanliness and safety should still be a priority.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times one of the main drawbacks is that it only has one elevator and so sometimes you have to wait a bit. Location is amazing. The rooms are cleaning the balconies. Have a nice view.

Beds were very uncomfortable and the ac did not cool the room. Front desk associate was extremely helpful though with anything we needed during the stay.

The hotel was not clean and they would not provide a refund. There are no amenities to use! The pool I don’t think was open. We had to go buy pillows and air fresheners for the room. I would never recommend!
