Days Inn by Wyndham Elmsford

The property met it's "Good" rating, that I saw in advance. The check-in and check out were smooth, and there was no problem with my late arrival. The breakfast was as expected: waffle maker and pre-packaged snacks, apples and oranges. The bed was comfortable. The lowlights: the floor in the bathroom was not cleaned well, the curtains facing the road didn't close completely. The parking spots are very tight. With the large number of work trucks already parked there on my late arrival, I had to park a building away from my room. There's a bit of road noise, depending on the location of your room. The price is right, but I might choose to spend a little more next I pass through White Plains.

It was clean enough, the staff friendly, and I can see that there have been attempts at upgrades, but the hotel is in need of overall renovations.

Vending machines not working. Reserved a room for 2 nights only one confirmed. Told me they were booked up. Used Expedia to get another room, room was occupied. Issued another room, happened to be next to the original room. Location was the only good thing that was helpful.

The place needs updating

We stayed here as it was not far from the train station into the city. However, without a car, there is no accessible food within walking distance. That being said, the parking lot was very big and is right next to the rooms so you can easily park next to your room and not have to worry about going a long distance to bring things to your room. The pillows are quite disappointing as they provided no support and beds were rather stiff. The breakfast was a pretty standard breakfast with cereal, a waffle maker, bagels, toast, eggs, yogurt, coffee, etc. Breakfast is also in a convenient place and in a room big enough to fit everyone around during our stay. There was also a 24/7 coffee and tea area that was made aware to us at check-in and we were able to enjoy this amenity. Staff were always super friendly and welcoming us in to the breakfast area and when we checked in and checked out. I will say that upon check-in and entering the room, the only cleanliness issue was in the bathroom. There was some hair on the floor and some stuff left in the bathtub. Though outside of that, the room was clean and didn’t have any smell. The air conditioner was one of my favorite parts as it was rather hot outside and the HVAC system was able to make the room too cold at times. Overall, though, this was a pretty good place to stay at and did its job and we would come back in the future. Thank you!!

It's a very basic property. Clean with very basic amenities. No hangers, no closet and very small rooms. The AC worked fine. No elevators, so travelling with big suitcase, not an easy task. Stairs are very narrow. No helpers around to help with luggage. Breakfast is just waffles, canned juices and codd

The property was easy to get to and there was plenty of parking. The room smelt very cleans and the linens looked good. The ac was blasting which helped on a hot and humid day.

They were in the process of renovations so the outside was not great. Someone cleaned their car out in the parking lot & just left the trash there all night. Wifi was terrible.

We had roaches in our room.

Dirty, smelly place, with limited breakfast. Don't recommend

The motel complex smelled strongly of marijuana, including our room. Our room smelled so bad that I could not sleep- I felt like I was suffocating. Also, the bathroom was dirty and the blankets had stains on them. We were extremely disappointed in this stay. We have stayed at other Days Inn without a problem. We will probably never stay at another one again.

Room was not clean.

We woke up every morning to roaches and ants in the bathroom. We asked for a discount but they would not. Being it was thanksgiving weekend no other rooms were available.

Room was okay. Bathroom was dirty.

A brief overnight stay. Conveniently located for our purpose. Comfortable mattress. Our room was dirty, no hot water in bathroom sink, shower lever was loose & leaked a stream of water. Toilet had very low head pressure and would only flush if the handle was held down. Roach scurried out from under shoe when moved in the morning. I would never stay here again and shouldn’t either.

This is the most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in during my 50 years. The bedspreads are filthy and have multiple burn holes. The desk chair is visibly stained and broken and has gross goodness knows what on it. This was the only hotel close to my son’s testing center for his early morning LSAT tomorrow. If not for that we would have walked out and slept in the car. I’m so grossed out.

Bed was very comfy. AC was erratic

Room was very basic. Exterior door for every room. Did not feel comfortable.

Breakfast was OK... and that was the high point. Room was incredibly small, wife had to squirm around AC unit to avoid banging head. AC unit was loud and incredibly intrusive. Killed something crawling across the floor. Had to struggle daily to get appropriate towel service, once having a floor mat as a hand towel, and six wash cloths instead of what we needed. UGH! Never again...

Walls are paper thin and the next door room has the TV on all night

I made a reservation for 5 nights here because it was among the cheapest in the area. The room was small with no closet; there were two hooks on the wall to hang clothes. The internet was sketchy, and I was often dropped after a couple of minutes. So, I went to a nearby McDonald's to use internet there and keep up to date for the week. I got on the internet at the office, when I had to get booked in for my flight home. There was a minimal breakfast; I had Raisin Brain cereal and yogurt on two mornings. You could also make pancakes, but the formula had run out when I was there. It was a convenient location for me. It was also quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We arrived to check into 2 rooms at 3p. Line out the door. No rooms available due to housekeeping. We finally left and called at 7p and no room ready. Bothered me that we reserved on Hotels.com and were last priority.

Office staff was ok,but gave poor response to complaints. Housekeeping-- very lacking. stayed multiple days and received no housekeeping entire stay. Complained several times because of it.

Check in was a nightmare on Saturday 6/21/25. They had someone else sign our reservation paperwork and gave away the deluxe room to someone else. They put us in a room that was blocked for maintenance issues. When I checked out I was told that management would contact me about the price difference between a deluxe room and the room they gave with maintenance issues but I was not contacted by the management. I was not compensated for the delay in check-in or for the room down grade. I would not stay here again.

For the money, it was not a total disaster. Check-in took me over 20 minutes. I arrived just 3 minutes before check-in time and there was no room ready for me. No one looked like they had much experience but very nice except for 1 guy who was a bit testy. The room was clean but lots of noticeable wear and tear. There were problems with everyone's keys from the get-go and had to be charged including mine the 2nd day. There were also issues with the electric. A patron had been without electric since the morning of the day I checked in until 3pm. My a/c worked well but kept going on and off all night the 2nd night and the alarm clock had to be reset 2x. Will i stay there again? In an emergency or desperate situation, probably. By my choice, no!! ...oh, ps. The morning i was leaving, there was a bug crawling on the floor. Could have been a roach

The staff where nice and professional.

No one was at the front desk at check-in. The bathrooms were terrible with many broken parts: sink drain plug broken, faucet handles broken, toilet paper roll holder broken, bathtub not caulked and moldy. It was very loud at night, and it seemed like there were people living there and smoking weed. Plus, out Mon-smoking room definitely smelled of smoke. Worst of all, my six year old daughter left her beloved vintage care bear in her room under the covers and we didn’t discover the loss until the following night at bedtime in PA. When I called the hotel the next morning, it was obvious they couldn’t care less. They wouldn’t even look for it. When I asked for the manager, he wouldn’t talk to me, and he also didn’t return my email. Absolutely appalling customer service. I’ve left maybe two things at hotels over the past 30 years of travel, and they were both found by staff, and then mailed to me; in one case they mailed my blazer internationally. I didn’t even have to contact these other hotels; they contacted me to let me know they found the items before I even knew they were missing. Not at this shabby establishment!

The facility is the middle of a mess of ramps and highway so it is pretty isolated (you really can't walk anywhere). The roads around it were also under construction. The hotel itself was not in great condition. It was clean enough. However, hotels priced like this one and that are in the condition (very worn, very used, kinda maintained) tend to be in super heavy tourist areas like beaches and cities. This hotel was most definitely NOT near anything you wanted to go to, just near where you had to go.

Hotel rooms are like women, you get what you pay for. Spend a lot, you get a lot. Save so money, you might not get something flashy, but it will still get you through the night. The room was clean, but dated. Plenty of tv channels to pick from (300+). The "breakfast" is not worth getting up for. The bottom line is, I would defiantly stay there again. Awesome dinner quarter mile away.

Very enjoyable stay. Quiet area with good proximity to transit for city travel. Property was clean and modernized. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will consider for future stays

Room was clean, staff was friendly and remembered me as I stay here every time I work in White Plains. A/C worked, beds were comfortable and sheets were clean The breakfast is a little lack luster, with individually packaged bagels, some cereals, and a waffle maker. While staying here I did have a stranger knock on my door at 10pm, and when I looked out the window he realized he had the wrong room, but it can be a little sketchy, I felt more unsafe when staying in the back of the building. The location is good as it is close to a main road that can take you to some good breakfast spots.

Convenient

Rooms were ok, but could have been cleaner. It was well lit outside at night, which was a plus.

The room that I stayed in smelled like smoke but I did not see an option to choose a non-smoking room online. Also, as the breakfast time wore on the items were not restocked so if I came later I was not allotted the same options as others, and they ran out of bowls and breakfast sandwiches several times. There was a gap in the door to the outside, so light leaked in as well as bugs. The walls were very thin and most of the time there were no staff at the desk. My room card was deactivated during one of my days out of the room and when I asked to have it reactivated the staff onsite did so but did not offer an explanation as to why it was deactivated in the first place. Any one or two of these occurrences would not be so bad but they just kept adding up to a less than pleasant stay. The atmosphere was underwhelming and I do not think I will stay again when visiting the area.

Enjoyed our stay...large comfortable bed, staff was very courteous and helpful, was very affordable, was close to our family that we were visiting. We had a few minor equipment issues: the fridge's front left corner "leg" was missing so that every time you tried to open the door, the fridge would tilt forward to that corner; there was a delay in being able to get fresh towels a few days into our stay; the breakfast area was a pleasant surprise (might want to get a 2nd waffle maker--at times, a line to make a waffle it got so busy); the shower water control was a bit stripped, so trying to turn it off required a very slow process of turning in one direction until the water slowed to a drip.

Room was attractive and clean. Check in and check out were borderline rude or just indifferent. No welcome no thank you etc. Room was cold due to drafty door and heater was loud and located beside making it harder to Rear window looked out on road just feest away so had to keep curtains closed for any privacy. Breakfast ended at nine which aeemed very early especially at weekend Food was very minimal.

Totally disappointed due to the fact, we were supposed to have breakfast. When we go to the breakfast area the waffle maker was broke, the juice maker was out of order. The reason we picked this hotel is to have the convenience of breakfast prior to starting your day. Instead, we had to go and find a breakfast place and take time out of our planned touring time. Would not stay here now.

It was great! Breakfast was simple but really good and had a variety of options like yogurts, oatmeal, sausage/egg/cheese sandwiches, and fruit. The room was nice and had a fridge and microwave which was super helpful for our stay. There was a diner across the street that was amazing for late night food too!

Good hotel good breakfast

I stayed for 3 days and I didn't receive a cleaning service, old and duty building. The breakfast was not ready.
