Very convenient location and quiet. Free shuttle to airport was very helpful. Dinning option was minimal and bar closed at 2300 but it was a Monday night and I checked in late. Only real negative was the door access points for the second building was not working at three different locations.

Sadly, the pool was not working. Our hallway smelled like marijuana, and we didn't sleep well because the air conditioner in our room sounded like a truck revving it's engine through the night. I thought the price of water in the front lobby was a bit expensive. We did like the convenience from the airport, we enjoyed the restaurant, and out room was very clean.

Ideal location at the airport. Hotel is clean, nice outdoor pool. One slightly grumpy receptionist the only real downside. Breakfast was decent, 10 dollar parking charge somewhat unwelcome.

VERY close to the airport -- you really could walk to the terminal but there is a 24 hour shuttle, which was the #1 reason I picked this particular Doubletree. The JAX airport car rental/parking lot had just had a catastrophic fire, and it was uncertain where and when the car could be returned to. I ultimately returned to the airport offisite, took the auto rental shutlle to the airport, and Doubletree was there in a few minutes (less than 5) for the pickup. Hotel room doors, etc. are dated and could use a make over but very clean. Staff was great, polite, and corteous. Made sure I received my Hilton points and cookies... :)

Perfect location for the airport , great shuttle service to and from and available 24hrs, super friendly staff, nice comfy restaurant with decent pricing and good food. Rooms are great, just the right amenities and comfortable beds. Faultless! Will definitely stay again and highly recommend as well.

I am a member of the Hilton hotel that we always stop in the ambassador suite. This is my first time stopping in Doubletree and I will tell you my first time in Doubletree. The room was filthy. That was dry blood on the wall. The sink was dirty and I was very disappointed in Doubletree but normally my experience in Hilton my husband are we are honor members and we love it but the Doubletree for me it was just dirty and it wasn’t clean And some of the stuff was rude

The floor in the room was SO dirty that when I took a shower and walked around barefoot after, my feet immediately felt dirty again. Knelt down and my knees got dirty. Tried to avoid the floor entirely…. Bathroom was tiny. Was thankful I only had to spend a few hours there for sleeping purposes.

The lamp in the room was so dusty it wasn't a just one day not cleaned item. There was a dead ant in the sink and hair in the shower. If if had been just one thing, I could have overlooked it but all three, that's a dirty room. Also the pool was full of bugs. I was told it was closed the day before for cleaning... didn't look it. When I was getting ready to leave the pool I left a few things on my chair and went to the ladies room to change. A staff member stopped me to point out the things on the chair and I replied that I knew that they were there and that I was going back for them as soon as I changed. She pushed the issue a second time and again I repeated that I was aware that the stuff was there and that I would take care of it. When she pushed the issue for the third time she went from being helpful to being harassing. I finally had to tell her that I didn't want to get my beach cover wet while I was changing into dry clothes and that is why I was not taking it into the bathroom with me. I should not have to explain myself in detail to hotel staff. It totally made me not want to stay at this hotel ever again. But to end on a good note, the breakfast was lovely!!!

Arrived and the whole floor smells terrible. The sheets are also very rough and uncomfortable — and they didn’t even have a fitted sheet on either of our beds. Everything in the room is very old and the lamp is rusted.

Firstly, my room wasn't ready on time and it wasn't completely clean, stains on the walls and couches/chairs. Then the next morning, I woke up to it raining from the vent in the bathroom. The whole bathroom and closet were flooded and started flooding in the foyer area by the door. The worst part is that the water was yellow! The 24-hour transportation within a 3-mile radius was questionable because I had several interactions with 3 different men who were so rude and one younger heavy-set guy refused to take my friend and me to a convenience store that was within 3 miles of the hotel….. Every driver we had told us that the airport was the priority but every time we called from the airport, it took 20 minutes to come pick us up and sometimes more from anywhere else. There were also 2 instances where we called to be picked up from a restaurant we were sitting outside of and waited an hour, only to call back and then tell me that the driver was just there… but they never came! Lastly, I witnessed a gigantic ROACH run through the lobby!

I had a great stay. The staff were friendly and attentive to guests. The elevators were a little janky. My only issue was with the bathroom in the room I was in. The toilet flushing mechanism needs replaced and doesn’t flush properly. Also the shower door pushed in and doesn’t close properly. The shower is narrow to begin with and the door should swing outward and then seal shut

The a.c. was set to “on” instead of automatic at 67F. I turned it to heat and it did not work. So slept in a cold room. Woke up at 4AM to get ready for airport and the shower and sink water was Luke warm (cold), so took a cold shower as I was running out of time. Went downstairs to express my displeasures to the desk attendant and she acted like she was writing down the two issues and she did not, so no intention to tell the on coming manager. We would not want to look bad in front of the manager. So I told her I wanted a response and/or my money back and seemed outwardly indifferent all together. I sent a text to the desk person that checked me in, of course - no response. I will never stay at a Hilton hotel ever again as the one prior last year in South Florida was crap too (restaurant).

Overall an excellent experience. The only down sides were the sleeping impediments specifically : noise from the swimming pool area and the wall mounted "spotlight" which also serves as the room climate control screen.. it is far too bright for anyone wanting a dark room to sleep in, cover it with a wash cloth or something and its fine.

Our room was nice but I do not recommend the rooms with patio/balcony. The rooms are by the pool and they play music over the speakers until 10pm. Not great for early morning flights. The hallway was musky. The beds were great and the room was a good size. The airport shuttle was very convenient. The staff was friendly.

The location and cleanliness of the property were excellent. The staff could use some training on basic friendliness. I spent two separate nights on consecutive weekends. The first was fine. The second however was definitely less so. I was curtly cut off twice by the person who answered while attempting to call for the airport shuttle. Upon arrival at the front desk the Host was courteous but short. In the morning the next desk host denied that I was a silver status member and seemed to take offense when I pointed it out to her. Never once did she smile or act in a welcoming manner. They can do better.

Hotel located next to JAX, can walk to terminal 0.3 miles across the extended parking lot/garage, but they have a 24/7 shuttle service so no need to walk. Great stay for early 5 am flight!

First, I’ll say the staff is very nice and friendly. But this property is not well maintained. The wallpaper is falling off the walls, the AC doesn’t work very well and everything is dirty. The walls, the elevators and general areas are all worn and dirty. The only food options is their overpriced restaurant ($22/person for breakfast) and they don’t even offer complimentary coffee. The room is okay but the beds aren’t very comfortable.

Bathrooms are definitely in need of a renovation! The bathroom we had was super small and the drains have to be messed with to drain properly. The toilet only flushed if the handle was held down for a few seconds and the inside of the bathroom door was pretty disgusting looking! The room itself was nothing special, just a room but the bed was pretty comfortable.

We stayed here last minute when our flight got delayed overnight. Super close to airport with quick free shuttle. Staff was fantastic. Property itself needs some updating but was fine for what we were there for. Pool looked great for an airport hotel but we didn’t have time to use it. The real standout here is the staff.
