We enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and tended to our needs. Our little boy loves the pool. We were there to attend the Comic Convention and knew that the area would be extremely busy with PBR also happening in the Rupp Arena. One of the elevators stopped working on Friday and was not serviced during the remainder of our visit. This made check out on Sunday extremely complicated and difficult with so many people trying to pack up and get out and one elevator down. But other than that, everything was great!

Location to the arena was perfect, main lobby was kept updated and clean. On the levels above, you could see the age of the building from wall paper and carpet damages. Be aware of food options in walking distance and their hours of operations depending how long of a stay. Hotel did offer "missed items" you may have failed to pack for purchase. Bathroom did not have a fan to move the heat/smell from the bathroom resulting in water droplets developing on the ceiling. Hotel shuttle is unreliable for airport departure, need to factor in costs of transportation. Spoke with front desk for shuttle transportation to the airport prior to checkout, was told a time and waiting area. At the time for the shuttle, no one was available to take us. Had to order a Lyft to insure enough time for airport check in.

We have stayed many times when attending a UK game but we were terribly disappointed this time. The shower would not drain & we waited over 40 minutes for the valet to bring our car the next morning. Plus only one elevator was working.

Very convenient to Rupp Arena. Property is older but still maintained pretty well. Pool area was a little chilly. Parking is across the street. We had trouble exiting the property and the parking attendant lady was extremely rude to us. We stayed because it os a few steps from Rupp, which was nice.

Great stay--but there was a significant miscommunication with the airport shuttle service. We let them know we would need it before our flight, called when we arrived in Lexington and confirmed we were at the pick up location. Then, we waited an hour before having to call again to ask if they were on their way. They weren't, but they sent someone immediately and the shuttle driver apologized and said he picked up others and thought it was us. He was very kind, but his statement seemed odd to us, since there were not many people at the ground transportation area and we were very attentive to watching for a shuttle. (Sadly, it was evening, raining, and cold--which made it harder to wait a long time.) Lack of coordination, communication, and perhaps organization? Naturally, it was another 30 min before we arrived at the hotel. No problem with the return shuttle. Overall, I recommend the hotel and hope they figure out a better evening shuttle pick up procedure.

For nearly 900 dollars for 2 nights I would expect not to find a cockroach the size of my thumb on the floor between beds. There was another in the hall as I was leaving Sunday. One thing I cannot abide are roaches.

We were going to I’m basketball game and growing up in ky staying here was a big deal. Our first room had roaches and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. They moved us no problem but the next room had no water pressure so it was almost impossible to shower. Just expected more from Hyatt.

This property is old and in serious need of updating. The Expedia pictures do not match the property itself. This property was way overpriced for its condition. There was so much dust behind the mirror in the bathroom I actually saw a dust bunny fall.

My wife and I found a Bed Bug in our room at 1:30am. I found a baggy and brought the bed bug to the fronts desk to explain the situation. The front desk worker was VERY rude and offered no help. We politely told them that we were leaving to return home and asked for a refund.

This is a fine hotel if you're going to be out late but if you need/want rest, I don't recommend. The street traffic was incredibly loud. Lots of engines revving all night long. You'll feel like you're sleeping on a race track. The hotel was old and in need of updates. Our tub didn't drain, held water, low shower head, be tough for someone taller than5'6" to shower. Very soft water pressure. Parking is across the street. No super practical if you're coming and going. They do offer valet though. Probably wouldn't choose to stay here again unless attending an event at Rupp, and then only for the convenience factor.

Rooms are outdated and furniture is in poor shape. Bathroom had several holes in the wall with temporary plates and make shift toilet paper holder. Noisy as some kind of mechanical room was next to us. Key cards to activate elevator was inconsistent. Adjacent to Rupp Arena is about the only reason I would stay there again.

The check in staff was fantastic...it went downhill after that. Housekeeping didn't respect the do not disturb sign on the door, when we had to request an additional item it was never brought to us, about an hour later we went and got it ourselves. Staff woke us up at 2 am delivering something we didn't request, turned out to the wrong room, although they made such a big deal about our earlier request (an additional garbage bag) we can't help but think the 2 am wake up was done purposefully. The restaurant server was incredibly rude, tossing things on our table as she walked by and seeming inconvenienced when we were ready to order. When the meal came to the table, it was cold. Thankfully, the manager on duty handled the situation respectfully. The bathroom was really run down. No pressure in the shower, inconsistent water temps and the handles were falling off. I would not recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff and manager were top notch, super friendly and helpful. Every interaction with them was pleasant and made me feel happy I chose this hotel! Valet was swamped and super busy but there were several events taking place at Rupp Arena that weekend so can’t fault them! Overall a very positive stay.

Got there at 2 to let them know we were available whenever a room opened up close to check in time at 4. They took down our number to send us a text when ready. Came back around 4:10, check in time is at 4:00. Entire lobby had at least 100 different people who had tried to check in and no rooms available. There was a concert next door that night, hotel was very near capacity I am sure , and likely had been for months so this crown certainly wasn’t unexpected. It’s a hotel , if check in is at 4 then we should be able to get our room at 4. I am not sure why I paid full price for a room I wasn’t given the full time in. People waited hours . We missed a dinner reservation . Then there was a used dirty soap in the shower when we did check in so my guess is the rooms here aren’t cleaned to anyone’s standard

Prepaid $800 for 2 nights, non refundable. Called to let them know my flight was rebooked and would be late. No problem they said. Showed up at 12am and was told they had sold my room out from under me. Waited until 2am to be told there were no rooms left in lexington. Good luck, you’re on your own. This should be a crime. I eventually found a motel 45 minutes away in a dangerous neighborhood with no hot water and a door that wouldn’t close. As a father, I can’t stop thinking about how this could have ended if they sent someone’s daughter or son out on the streets at 2am without any help and no place to stay.

I stayed here for a 2 night concert at Rupp arena and loved it. Free parking at a downtown hotel is almost unheard of, so that is a huge perk. Everything about my stay was pleasant. Restaurant on the property was great as were the nearby restaurants and coffee shops. I will definitely stay here again.

Great location downtown next to Rupp Arena and only two blocks from the Opera House, where we went for a concert, not opera. Hotel was very clean and quiet and tech support was fast when we had a TV issue. Not all outside doors are unlocked late in the evening so it is good to check on what doors will get you back in. That is good for safety and security. Loved our stay.

Hotel itself is nice and very convenient to stay for an event at Rupp Arena We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was mediocre at best and the fish sandwich and fries were not hot and the bread was soggy. Ate breakfast the next morning in the restaurant and the breakfast was good.

Staff was superb. All were helpful, kind and considerate. From front desk to parking guys to bartender food staff and front desk went above and beyond. However though clean, a bit worn out a sewerage smell. Also food below average. Biscuits were hard and dry,bacon and sausage way over done and overpriced. Great bar drinks.
