Great location, mostly why I selected the hotel. Cute decor, and again, great location. Unfortunately they had no microwave on site, not even in lobby. Bed was not a Queen, it was a full-sized bed. As in something a teenager would use, not two adults. I asked for a couple bottles of water because we drank the ones we had, and he said "five dollars each"...Really chintzy. They were small bottles, and I was informed the two in our room we had already were five dollars each. Totally a ripoff. This is a nice hotel, but super cheap with water and no way to heat food. These seem like pretty basic amenities IMO. I'll try elsewhere next time.

Great location and helpful staff. The property is dated but clean. You get charged extra for decent wifi. We had 2 different homeless men in parking area on 2 separate occasions pulling in at night. They didn’t bother us, but it was just me and my teenage Dtr, so a little disconcerting. The staff did a good job monitoring who was coming into building.

We stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed our time. The hotel does charge a parking fee of $30 per day which was fine. This hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and shops and is only a few minute walk away from the beach. The only complaint we had was the toilet was oddly smaller but we really loved it here. We would stay there again.

The hotel was clean, cute and fairly stylish in the room. It’s a small hotel with no amenities, like a hot tub, pool, room service, etc. The price is a bit much for what you receive; however, you can’t beat the location!

The manager was very nice as he saw I had a long day of travel and upgraded my room. There is not a restaurant but so many walkable places and a close convenience store. Despite being in Venice, it is extremely quiet. Loved that it had a tub as so many hotels don’t now. Will stay again.

This place is funky, artistically decoratively pleasing, and very clean. It has a beautiful inner courtyard with tables. Close to a buzzy, lively little dining and bar / club strip close to the beach, but removed enough that the rooms are quiet. My only complaint was that the in-take / check in process required a lot of filling out of forms…more than normally encountered when arriving for a reservation…and I urgently needed to use the bathroom at the time we were checking in.

The staff are all amazing including the friendly and efficient housekeeping folks. The rooms are updated and clean. The beds comfortable and overall the inn is very quiet. We also appreciated the onsite parking and the walk ability of the area. I loved the handouts they provided on check in for local suggestions and were quick to provide more recommendations if needed. I would definitely recommend this inn for your stay in Venice.

AC works great; good TV; internet signal is good at night but slow in the morning. Mini fridge is available but doesn’t cool down enough to a point of getting your beverage/food cold; it’s just cool temperature. We complained three times, got a technician looking at it and even changing with another brand unit, but the issue is with the model itself. Staff was prompt to act on it. The bedroom doesn’t have a microwave, neither the lobby; you gotta ask staff to use the one from the staff room (it’s ok but not convenient). We attempt to go for a walk towards the beach but didn’t feel safe enough and went back to the hotel. Great location at Venice Beach. Nice and helpful staff. Big rooms. Table with two chairs, the table was a bit unstable. Many restaurants nearby. Some nightlife and emergency vehicles at night did wake you up but manageable. One big disappointment was that there was WiFi very slow version and you have to pay to get better but not much better speed. No information about this at webpage or when booking. Expect this by the big chain hotels but normally small hotels like this has free and often fairly good Wifi.

Great location, very walkable to the beach. Room was clean. However it was very noisy - we could hear other guests in their rooms, everything from talking to watching tv. We only stayed one night so it was fine, but would recommend earplugs if you’re staying longer!

Standards lower than in my four previous stays. Lost cable and internet for more than a day with little or no communications from management. Paid for parking but when I returned after a late performance parking was impossible, when I asked the staff they just laughed at me.

Room was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Shower had good pressure. So many dining options within walking distance. However, I had an issue with one of the staff members because they accused me and my wife of taking the ice scoopers when they didn’t even have any there when we walked in the room. The staff member later called and apologized and we were able to remedy the situation but it really made us feel uncomfortable that we were accused in that way.

Front desk was very kind and helpful. Helped store our luggage’s while we waited for our room (which they let us an early check in - much appreciated after long travel!). Would definitely stay again, room was much bigger than expected and clean. Super impressed.

I have travelled and stayed in Hotels in over 50 countries. It’s very rare that, I encounter dismissive and irresponsible managers. When smoke alarm went off at 2 am and we eventually disconnected it and took it to the lobby because no one was answering the call. I was told by the manager he had seen someone smoking in the morning. Such a pathetic comment instead of apologising. No toilet role or tissues.

This was a nice hotel with a great location, just a couple blocks to the beach and the canals. We had an unfortunate view of the parking lot. Someone woke us up a couple mornings yelling in the alley. The room was clean and the bed was pretty comfy. We enjoyed having a table in the room even with the bad view.

Location was excellent for proximity to surrounding areas. BUT bring your earplugs. Could not have survived without them. Baja Cantina next door blasts the music on weekends and the base is like it's in your room. Loud cars parading by add to the noise. It's an old property and probably more 2.5 stars than 3 but location makes up it. Clean, paid parking, friendly staff.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, big clean room, comfortable bed. The only thing that lets the hotel down is they charge you $5 if you drink the small bottles of water they leave in the room. (There is a note on them stating this) why they don’t leave a cheaper make FOC is beyond us. Go to the lovely supermarket next door and buy a big bottle for $2.50.

Good hotel for price, near beach and lots of eateries. We had a loft room with plenty of private space for two couples for a short weekend stay. Two televisions, one upstairs and one down. Second bed on bottom floor was a pull out couch. Friends say it was actually very comfy. Shampoo and body wash dispensers provided in the shower, good water pressure, separate sink area for washing hands, ironing board and iron provided. This hotel was hard to spot from front, be aware when walking to/from beach or restaurants. Bars and restaurants closed early for a weekend, apparently not an after hours party area.
