Hotel Flores de Sal-Valle de Guadalupe

What guests think

Across recent reviews, Hotel Flores de Sal-Valle de Guadalupe earns praise for clean, modern, spacious rooms, friendly staff, mountain-and-vineyard views, and relaxing pool and hot tubs, while ongoing construction and occasional maintenance or policy frustrations temper enthusiasm.

Many enjoy the included breakfast and the convenient access to multiple wineries. Drawbacks noted include limited or slow dining service and hours, a cold pool, unpaved access roads, and intermittent issues such as hot-water delays, occasional Wi-Fi or power outages, or inconsistent housekeeping. Overall, expect a comfortable, scenic stay with good value if you’re flexible with a property still settling in.

Loved this hotel, it’s a new build and they’re still working on it so it was a little loud but didn’t bother us. Pool looked so nice, I wish we could’ve enjoyed. They serve alcohol and food at the pool bar. Only flag is that if you don’t pay to reserve you pay when you arrive and need to arrive by 3pm to confirm your reservation.

JESSICA EXCEPCIONAL

Property over all is not too bad it needs some upgrades starting from the entrance should put some cement to avoid to step on dirt! Number 1 thing didn’t like is the pool being so dirty and murky didn’t use it ! But I did used the jacuzzi which it was better I did let the manager know!

The hotel is nice and the pool was great. Our room had a great view and the staff was friendly. The o my things that we did not like, was the bed. It was uneven and would sink in the middle. Also, when we were leaving, we noticed that the fitted sheet had some weird stains. Like they had not been washed. Overall, great place, the bed and the stains were the only negative.

When you make a reservation here through Expedia, the hotel does not honor it. They will contact you through what’s up and ask for zelle payment. If you don’t send them the money via Zelle they will threaten to cancel your reservation even if you make them aware you will be arriving they will ask you to arrive before 4 pm or they will cancel your reservations. The experience was very stressful especially when you are going on vacation to relax. Also, hotel is under construction the price does not reflect this.

Everything is great, bit even better was the attention of night manager Alex and Israel, they can fix everything. Honestly, big kudos to them, we will return.

Beautiful location. Rooms are large, spotless and new. Some roads around hotel are unimproved and after the rains, a bit slippery and muddy. Part of the adventure! Only hiccup was the lack of instructions on how to gain access to rooms. It appears installation is very new and they are probably working out the checking in process. Another couple was also there waiting for staff to arrive to check us in. Otherwise a very pleasant experience!
